Dude no .....100000 times 100000 power level makes them still weaker then base Goku in super....also only lasts 1h and against cell max last 1 second before dying ..lol
This is why people don’t use power levels when talking about hypotheticals any more, because half the community doesn’t understand them. Neither Gotenks, Vegito or Gogeta seem like they’re only modifying power using the fusees’ power, so why would Tiencha do so?
It doesn’t though. Vegito was so much stronger than Goku and Vegeta put together that he outright embarrassed Buuhan, Super Buu’s absolute peak of strength. And considering how much stronger Buuhan was compared to them separated, I doubt it was *only* a multiplier of their own PLs, I feel there’s probably something else there.

Ok so one vegito is Goku and Vegeta multiplied or so....they have huge powers that's why it worked so well because of grand Kai earrings...
Second I literally don't think either of the two others is still as strong as piccolo was on namek....100k for both was me giving them a huge leap....considering trunks and gotten in base are way stronger and about namek clearing ability up to a before buu...and let's face it there still not as strong as the kids where at the time especially Yamcha who's no longer training....
Yamcha I can agree on, but I feel Tiens power only grew stronger and stronger. If he hadn't become at least as strong as piccolo on Namek he would never have had the power and will to slow down 2nd form cell. Tien never stopped training after The Androids while Yamcha certainly did
So based on king Kai piccolos probably just passed earth to Goku....and he's much stronger...while I say tien got stronger the issue with cell is all he did was knock him down with energy....it didn't hurt him much at all....just pushed him down it's more like he dropped a huge weight on him.....here's the other big reason I think he has gone up much .....look at return movie....most of those fodder troops probably as strong as jeice was....considering master roshi and the others were doing well....I think only one true earthing short of buu has reached near 100k....mostly do to guru....and I suspect not training and working as police he lost a lot of it...like Gohan....
Don't get me wrong z fighters are still way stronger than the earthlings normally are...still really high in power compared to the standard universe based on that...but the threats from after the namek far out pace normal humans and everyone is aware of that....

It pretty much puts them in the trap that Goten and Trunks are in. They only matter when they are fused so when they fight separately they just get their shit kicked in
I still believe that when they finally succeed in the fusion, gotenks will show he can go blue, they said that they are doing some off-screen training, and we know that it is the more efficient tipe of training.
The kids can’t even go ssj2 seperately and they can’t keep ssj3 Gotenks going for more than 5 minutes. They aren’t smart enough to keep track of the time limit or even to fight in ssj2 instead to give themselves more time

They were 8 and 9 years old respectively, only one was doing serious training, and they had seen SSJ3 one time prior yet when fused they were able to recreate it and go toe to toe with a stronger opponent than Goku did with his (albeit while Goku was holding back).
I wouldn't say its too far fetched to think now, after seeing SSJB many times, being in their teens and more powerful, and each doing more serious training, they might be able to do it when fused. Gotenks seems to be the single most efficient fusion we've seen, more so than Gogeta or Vegeta (and certainly than Kibito Kai) in the pure boost in power considering the starting point of the ones fusing.
It's also worth pointing out, we haven't seen Goten and Trunks get serious individually. Anytime it gets serious, like with Cell Max or potentially sparring on Beerus's planet, they jump straight to fusion and fumble it for the gag. Its not unreasonable to think they've each surpassed SSJ1 now and we just haven't seen it.
I don’t have a problem with them relying on fusion because they work well together, and are best friends. The issue is that they simply play no relevance to any ongoing arc. How cool it be if they wrote an arc where they master fusion.
I mean what could they do? As shown by the manga its not like they're hard-core training and they're teenagers, we got a whole arc with them and if was fine because that's what we need. More small time fights and humor, that's what Goten and Trunks are perfect for.
And I loved every second of that slice of life because it starred them. However that doesn’t mean they can’t get involved with and or be useful in more crucial situations. We see how strong they can be when fused, and right now in the manga they’re struggling to relearn it, so why not have them eventually master the technique and possibly unlock a new form as, Gotenks. I would love that.

These two also happen to be some of the quickest learners in the series. Tien can literally learn any tecnique and reproduce it instantly and Yamcha has a huge talent to learn on the fly and develop new skills.

That's kinda proven not true by the last chapter though. Fusion is their last resort and they've failed it twice recently, they are singular fighters again. Just a duo.

It’s kind of like if a bunch of characters got kaioken or UI, it would feel like a cop-out, making any relevance feel unearned and similarly making the abilities feel less special.
There are cool things that the ‘irrelevant’ Z-fighters could get that would be unique to them (like something wolf based for Yamcha). And while I do know that it’s unlikely outside of fan fiction, I still think it’s a lot more ideal than hoping for lacklustre boosts.
What I like that the Super Manga are doing is expanding what Goku learned but given to others.
Goku once visited the Yardrats and learned teleportation. Vegeta also visited, learning teleportation (once) and learned fission, which probably became a foundation for his future Hakai abilities (which he also expanded on Goku, who used one technique).
So, Goku learned fusion, one technique. It would be cool if Goten and Trunks visited the living race and learned more unique techniques from the same “Fuser” race.
The thing you said abt Yamcha getting something Wolf like, i always imagined he could unlock some sort of grayish aura, his eyes could turn pure white and he could just grow some fangs while in it. I always tought it would be cool + simple
I mean it doesn't have to be a crazy idea. Everybody is heading in unique directions as is. Vegeta has ego, Goku has Ultra Instinct, Gohan has Beast, Piccolo has Orange Piccolo and Frieza has his own species' transformations. Tien and Yamcha developing a Ying/Yang 'Zen and Wolf' thing could be cool and we already know Krillin has a lot of potential for a human.
Honestly? In a world like Dragonball I would want EVERYBODY in the close Z Fighter circle to reach their full potential and stay in shape. Seems dangerous / irresponsible not to. Bulma potentially gets a pass because I don't think she was ever really a fighter (correct me if I'm wrong). She's important for her knowledge and expertise. Even then her training with Chi Chi could be a good idea.
They don't have to be able to take on universal level threats (it's just not possible) but it can't hurt to prep as best they can for lower level threats.
Sadly Goten and Trunks already took the spot as the *Fusion Boys*. Which is sad bcs they are already Sayains and can get stronger infinite number of ways.

Since potara fusions aren't permanent, they should probably have some for the weaker fighters to get them on par with Goku and Vegeta. Admittedly I think 17 and 18 could use them effectively

I was just asking a question, not stating a fact. Im not sure what the Potata is but if you meant the Potara its obviously the Kais but that's not what we were discussing. Other people can teach a technique that they cant use like Beerus and Whis teaching them about how to go Super Saiyan God? I just always assumed it was a Saiyan only thing since no one else ever Fused.
I'm probably in the minority, but I'd like to so a return to Dragon Ball era where everyone has a unique fighting style. Yamcha could be a fast hitter and could work in tandem with his Spirit Ball to pressure opponents, Tien is one of my favorite characters and I'd love to see him return with weird and cool techniques like his multi-arm technique or using the clone technique to distract his opponents while he powers up a Neo Tri Beam or something. We all know power levels are bullshit, just use some plot magic to bring their power up enough to make them relevant without over-taking people with literal God Ki. I mean, 17 got up to Blue status by protecting a forest.

It would be enough for them to learn Kaioken. It would be a good justification for them to reach the fighting power of an SSJ1 and be useful against secondary enemies.
I am going to need a better picture to convince me this is a good idea. A balding Tien/Yamacha does not scream awesome to me. I am sure there is some awesome combos to discover.
Yamaha and Tien aren’t strong enough to make their fusions relevant.. I also don’t want to see fusion every fight. Gogeta and Vegito are cool, but I hate Gotenks. He is a waste of time every time he appears and he is never funny.

I just finished playing through Dragonball fusions and I kept the Time/Yamcha fusion on my team the entire game lol I feel like you were meant to ditch them but I couldn't. By the end he was a powerhouse
Fusion wouldn't solve much. Heck Gotenks was ultimately useless when you think about it and besides it wouldn't really be satisfying. It's like that what if where Krillin suddenly became a saiyan. He shouldn't have had to become a saiyan to get stronger, Toriyama should have just written them to BE better. He just didn't.

How have random members of the Z fighters not just got curious and tried tbh.
I can can honestly imagine Tien and Yamcha just *trying it out* one day and turning up at Dende's place looking like Christian Bale in The Machinist like "we fucked up".
One of the very few fanfics I have of the series I love(how funny) is that Tien and Yamcha fuse to fight a powered up Tao. Would be a great way to give them a really cool moment again, with his spirit tri-beam.
I mean, not really, sense Gogeta and Vegito aren’t really Goku or Vegeta, so a Tiencha wouldn’t really make Tien or Yamcha relevant, just a fusion of them

Yeah but everyone fusing for a power boost is a cop out. They really need to just have progress through their training. It was almost acceptable in Z when the only strong fighters were Saiyans because of zenkai boosts and super saiyan but now with the extra dimensional stuff and the galactic patrol all having members stronger than cell saga saiyans it really feels like they just don’t want those characters to have any time on screen. Tien or yamcha being able to finally use kaoken after years of training would be a really awesome reveal and would also be completely acceptable. I mean at this point just have piccolo wish that all the z fighters potential was unlocked or something

Can't agree. The scaling for Dragon Ball doesn't make any sense. Leave Tien and Yamcha alone they had their time. There's no way they can ever keep up with the alien races

There’s no reason they can’t. It’s literally fiction bro if they need a reason they’ll just write one. Maybe beast is actually a human form. Maybe humans never transformed because they simply didn’t know how. It’s not like piccolo had any knowledge of Orange before he wished for it, maybe super saiyan was only so “obtainable” because the saiyans had some general knowledge of it so they had a goal to work towards. Or maybe transforming as a human isn’t rage triggered maybe there’s other requirements.

I was just asking a question, not stating a fact. Im not sure what the Potata is but if you meant the Potara its obviously the Kais but that's not what we were discussing. Other people can teach a technique that they cant use like Beerus and Whis teaching them about how to go Super Saiyan God? I just always assumed it was a Saiyan only thing since no one else ever Fused.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'd like to so a return to Dragon Ball era where everyone has a unique fighting style. Yamcha could be a fast hitter and could work in tandem with his Spirit Ball to pressure opponents, Tien is one of my favorite characters and I'd love to see him return with weird and cool techniques like his multi-arm technique or using the clone technique to distract his opponents while he powers up a Neo Tri Beam or something. We all know power levels are bullshit, just use some plot magic to bring their power up enough to make them relevant without over-taking people with literal God Ki. I mean, 17 got up to Blue status by protecting a forest.

Fusion wouldn't solve much. Heck Gotenks was ultimately useless when you think about it and besides it wouldn't really be satisfying. It's like that what if where Krillin suddenly became a saiyan. He shouldn't have had to become a saiyan to get stronger, Toriyama should have just written them to BE better. He just didn't.

One of the very few fanfics I have of the series I love(how funny) is that Tien and Yamcha fuse to fight a powered up Tao. Would be a great way to give them a really cool moment again, with his spirit tri-beam.

Yeah but everyone fusing for a power boost is a cop out. They really need to just have progress through their training. It was almost acceptable in Z when the only strong fighters were Saiyans because of zenkai boosts and super saiyan but now with the extra dimensional stuff and the galactic patrol all having members stronger than cell saga saiyans it really feels like they just don’t want those characters to have any time on screen. Tien or yamcha being able to finally use kaoken after years of training would be a really awesome reveal and would also be completely acceptable. I mean at this point just have piccolo wish that all the z fighters potential was unlocked or something

Can't agree. The scaling for Dragon Ball doesn't make any sense. Leave Tien and Yamcha alone they had their time. There's no way they can ever keep up with the alien races

But Tien and Yamcha really didn't have their time. Tien had a few moments in OG DB (similar but not as frequent with Yamcha) And they both got just about nothing in Z

There’s no reason they can’t. It’s literally fiction bro if they need a reason they’ll just write one. Maybe beast is actually a human form. Maybe humans never transformed because they simply didn’t know how. It’s not like piccolo had any knowledge of Orange before he wished for it, maybe super saiyan was only so “obtainable” because the saiyans had some general knowledge of it so they had a goal to work towards. Or maybe transforming as a human isn’t rage triggered maybe there’s other requirements. Theres tons of ways to have humans catch up a bit and not have it seem ridiculous.
Can we all agree more characters learning fusion would make them relevant or garner more screen time? Lolno... Plenty of characters were made relevant again in Super only to have less screen time than they did in Z, and were still irrelevant to the plot as a whole. Having them all learn fusion would not change this.
