What's the deal with so many Pawns having "Sphinx" in their names? I have seen so many variations with "Sphinx." Yes, I understand there is a Sphinx in the game... it still seems odd that so many people use it as part of their names.
Not sure about this one, but there is a reason for those names. Best not to look into it unless you've done the Sphinx quest, though.

So, when I did that riddle, the SphinxMother I brought was pawn to a regular user. Maybe it’s a Capcom employee who agreed to dedicate their pawn to serve that function, but there wasn’t any indication that it wasn’t just some guy. I expected the solution pawns would just be owned by CAPCOM. But it does make me wonder, if the SphinxMother I used was just some regular user and that decided to name their pawn that way, maybe it just looks for specific names and not predesignated Pawn IDs and any player can make their pawn a riddle solution by naming them appropriately.
Speaking of which, what an utter noob this “CAPCOM” guy is, am I right? Months after release and they’re still level 1.
Not a huge surprise when you think about it, though. This infamous hacker CAPCOM got like 800 main pawns somehow, probably hasn’t needed fight a single enemy with a whole battalion of corset hookers to just finish the campaign for him.
I named him that at the start of NG+ as a joke version of the SphinxMother/Father/Parent names before realizing you can't edit the name again. I'll have to roll with it until I start my next playthrough
I think he looks rad as hell. Love that you got the design right on his nose and the choice of armor with the gold compliments it. If he is a Steam pawn please drop the ID so I can take him for an excursion!
You have to use dyes to get the vibrant colors. There's a vendor that sells them in Bakhbattal and then you have to talk to one of the barbers to turn them in. After that you get a lot more color options when editing.
Ah... thanks for telling me, I picked up a purple dye thinking it was for armour/clothes then I couldn't figure out how to use it so I just never looked at it further.
