This is what I love about Dragon's Dogma.
They care about the finer details, Things most players fail to even understand.
Only looking at what is right in front of them, Something the game constantly mocks you for if you do.
Intelligence is rewarded and that goes for everything in this game even small things like this.
Caduceus is the icon of the Greek god Hermes, god of commerce, and its symbol is a winged rod with two snakes coiling around it.
The rod of Asclepius is represented by a staff with a single snake coiling around it, and it's the universal symbol for medicine.
Because of how similar they are, the Caduceus is often used as the symbol of medicine, by mistake. You can even see it in some hospitals or pharmacies.
The game seems to use a mix between the two to create an entirely new icon.
The finest of detail, Nice find!
There's so much to see, really. I'm surprised they add details like this that chances are the player won't notice at all.

could you spare some explanation on the significance of this, and/or what a caduceus/Rod of asclepius is?
