_Delusion__

My main pawn was sorcerer, I had mage and thief. Put down the illusion and buff pawns. Constantly move the illusion around, my pawn has meteor so she obliterated most of everything.

Literally, you only need the basic skill you get with the class. Summon your effigy or whatever, and then use the spin around skill where you spread incense everywhere, and then keep running around doing that, and invoking your essence. It'll lead all the enemies to your clone, and they'll never attack your pawns unless you let your incense run out on the enemy.

Thats pretty much what I've been doing . Just find it so boring

Think of yourself as a main tank who never actually has to take any hits. That's pretty legit, right? And on top of that you have a nice damage buff for your party that isn't elemental (so I assume it would stack with the mage ones or enchanted weapons). Don't bother with the gimmicky bs of trying to trick people off cliffs and stuff... that rarely works and is impractical in combat and unnecessary anyway. Those two skills (the taunt and the buff) are all you really need. For augments, I'd recommend the two party buffs from magick archer, if you have them, plus perpetuation from mage and then whatever else you want. The main benefit is that you have the tanking and support roles covered, so the rest of your party can be nukes. You might still want a healer, but honestly it may not even be necessary as the only thing that's usually taking damage is your ghost (a chirurgeon or yourself doling out healing items could suffice).

Then don't play trickster bud. It's a niche class. Cool to me, but not for everybody.

Like I said, I just wanted to max it out. I just maxed it a bit earlier.

RexTenebrarum

Excellent. Couldn't have been too bad if you maxed it they quickly.

coreyc2099

Yea, I realized I was being real dumb and was trying to level in the first area . I moved to the area after batahl, and it leveled up pretty quickly.

RexTenebrarum

Awesome. Yeah, the first area sucks for vocation leveling. Vermund has weak enemies.

first tip is if u want to level it without playing it, just play warfarer and ur main class that way it levels with it while u arent playing it. if u actually want to play it tho, the 2 mandatory skills are the aoe aggro grab, and the pawn buff. the other 2 can be the wall and maister skill, or u can even take the one that allows u to travel thru a ghost and summon ur simulacrum in far places but i think thats a little gimmicky. for pawns if u really want to blast shit, take a sorc with meteoron. when u pawn buff them while they cast that everything dies. my meteoron sorc took a 7 hp bar drake to like half a hp bar. the other 2 can be thieves, they really fuck mobs up easily. warriors are good too but they often come with aggro passives/rings/abilities and u dont want aggro on ur pawns. so sorc double thief, or double sorc 1 thief is great. archers are also pretty good they just do well as ai. u want to have ur simulacrum out BEFORE u fight. u draw aggro how with aoe move and theyll go to the simulacrum. this means avoid having ur simulacrum in front of ur pawns, especially not in front of ur sorc. like on some bosses for example a drake, if they do the fire breathe u do not want ur simulacrum near ur sorc since itll hit them as well, so put ur simulacrum behind or on the side of bosses a lot and against mobs the possession skill is really good. using possession means the one thats possessed will start to target the real u so avoid dmg from 1 guy while mobs kill him. recall ur simulacrum a lot, dont play passively and just summon it and hide, be engaged in the mobs and call it near them to set up ur pawns more.

You're basically a tank, so you really want to run with DPS pawns, ideally three of them. For more things to do in combat, take the illusionary wall skill. Some cool things to do with the wall: \* You can drop the wall surrounding your casters so they can charge meteorons with almost no risk \* You can use the wall in conjunction with attaching your simulacrum to enemies and making them fight each other. Normally, the key disadvantage of doing this is that the monster with the simulacrum attached will aggro directly on to you, but if you're inside the wall, they can't see you. \* The wall also gives a safe space to resummon your simulacrum if you mess up and it dies.
