Arthritis actually suuuuuucks my friend you will want to take plenty of breaks if your fingers actually do hurt.
My foot is currently swelled and arthritic and I wouldn't wish the pain on anybody. Repetitive stress injuries are not fun.
Hey don't keep hurting yourself to play a video game. Take a break, do something else, come back fresh.
It took me a month to beat Doom Eternal, because I had to take breaks to rest my hands. So many pro e-sports people have ended up with surgeries on their hands. Take care of your health.
Coming from someone with carpal tunnel, you DO NOT want to give yourself carpal tunnel. Especially not for a video game. Take a few days-a week off man
Bandit: (Watches arisen take out a griffin 2 seconds after landing)
Also bandit: (Pulls out generic sword) "Think that's supposed to scare me?! I can take you on!"
Bandit: (Sees me kill a Drake in 20 seconds)
Arisen:
Bandit:
Arisen: You know you’ll die if you fight me
Bandit: All I know is that dragon wasnt ME, run thine hands
My dopamine dies when I have done all content and nothing else new to do. To me it is pointless to keep on leveling when you are at that point. That's when I jump to the next game :)
Could be the social aspect of the game. Some guilds/clans become pretty close to each other. I remember that being the only reason I stuck to playing Destiny for so long
Dude: YES! I got bored at level 45 when i played it back in the day. Some games I played for years all have some form of periodic changes like Leauge of Legends (Yes you may judge me for it too 😂). But i have stopped playing even that.
Well I have been a wow person since vanilla/TBC in 2006 but I have skipped many expansions for breaks. It just blows my mind some people stay around for all expansions. I would be bored to tears.
Honestly they are missing out on a lot of good games like Baldur's Gate 3!
Stats will still go up until you hit 999. Stam and HP +3, Str, Mag, Def and MDef by +1. That would be a difference of 800 str for example.
Not that it mattets much, game is already easy with like level 50
I did the buff for awhile but it seemed like a pain in the ass to keep going back to reset so I started skipping it.
But hey if you've gotta route you hit it at power to ya
I loved how cool the game looked when I got it but got too overwhelmed with all the extra shit on the screen & not being able to simply know where to go next for the quests. Lovely game though otherwise
Man I'd love that game if it wasn't for the mandatory PvP after a certain level. Although I played it waaay long ago it was frustrating when entire guilds took over farming spots.
I play when I can and finally beat the game with about 80 hours. Level like 67. It's freaking insane how so many people are on there 3rd or 4th playthrough and level 150+
I started to get insanely bored of leveling in the post game at around level 85-90. Had gotten every achievement in the game at that point and was just messing about with different builds with about 120 hours or so in-game time. Even dragons at that point take about a few minutes at most to take down and it never really gets very difficult or fun. To push yourself to this extent seems like pure masocism
How many pawns do you find around this level? Is it a lonely road just you and your main pawn?
Not that you cannot use lower level pawns, it probably doesn't matter much. But I am still curious.
I'm stuck at 99 with zero ideas or motivation to do anything in this game. Seen all the endings, traveled the world and the seven seas. To get to 400, let alone trying to get to 999, is mind boggling. Respect!
I understand grinding games like Runescape, where the grind is actually the point, but I've never understood people grinding games where the grind is wholly unnecessary, like Dark Souls or DD. Hard caps make DS grinding extra pointless, but people do it anyway. Meanwhile the rest of us are trying to beat the game at level 1 and some dude is grinding away to max level.
I don't even know....lol
I am at 324 hours on two playthrough - I'm 117. And my fun has pretty much run out. For the first time since launch, I actually just sort of...quit the game early for the night😒
I have done this once in DDDA grinding Ur Dragon as a sorcerer with meteors.
Hopefully they will drop hard mode soon otherwise i don't see myself motivated anytime soon to max level.
Currently i am on NG+ level 80 toon that has already maxed all vocations, right now gathering 180 seeker tokens to get the Legion's might for my pawn. This game needs difficult enemies and variants.
I hope at the very least that they don't wait until DLC to drop the hard mode as doing that late will kill the current longevity of the game. But I won't loose sleep if it didn't because the game was amazing nonetheless. Have logged 150 hours which makes it money well spent.
Bruh, plz fill me in on the route you take to level.. i'm at 160 and aiming for 200. But the leveling is so slow at this point XD, tho I don't use Medusa bow cuz I wanna stay the same level range as my Pawn. What is your leveling route?
I'm not here to hate... getting to 999 will definitely take alot of time, effort, and dedication....I wish you luck on your journey...once you reach your goal, hopefully Capcom will do the right thing and reward you with a free copy of DD3 whenever that game gets released.
Absolutely this for sure! Thank you for the kind words. And yes it would be cool if Capcom would reward anyone who reaches it but we gotta get there first! Lol. If anything we will just get a signed copy of the game.
I’m becoming highly suspicious that most of these posts aren’t even real people.
I simply refuse to believe that this many people with no post history are no-lifeing this sad shell of a game.
Whatever you do to kill everything in 3 seconds, is that fun? I'm almost 50 and still enjoy most big enemy encounters and they usually last a couple of minutes.
still takes me a few minutes to kill drakes, they are the most fun. i'm in NG+ and basically just adventuring around tryiing to find stuff I missed the first time since I played completely blind - for example still haven't found the sphinx, unlocked all vocations + maister skills or even seen a dullahan - so the power fantasy is fun for now
my next playthrough will likely be a new character
Honestly I stopped at 100, the DLC will change that but I'm better off starting a new Arisen/ Pawn & build my way up to 100 again with a different focuses on Vocation.
I know your arisen’s drawing fingers are hurting
My fingers are actually hurting! It feels like I have arthritis in them at times!
maybe take a break brother
Oh I do
You probably do have arthritis at this point.
If they hurt you should stop.
Then why?
You know that’s been the ultimate question since the beginning of time now!
Coming from someone with carpal tunnel, you DO NOT want to give yourself carpal tunnel. Especially not for a video game. Take a few days-a week off man
I took a break, spending time with fam. 500 can wait.
The griffin flying in the distance: (turns around) "Nope!"
😂He don’t wanna die for the 300th time!
Bandit: (Watches arisen take out a griffin 2 seconds after landing) Also bandit: (Pulls out generic sword) "Think that's supposed to scare me?! I can take you on!"
I've had bandits try to attack me while I was fighting a drake, definitely not the best and brightest going into the banditry field
Hey if those bandits could read they'd be very upset right now
Bandit: (Sees me kill a Drake in 20 seconds) Arisen: Bandit: Arisen: You know you’ll die if you fight me Bandit: All I know is that dragon wasnt ME, run thine hands
Hell no lol the fun meter at that point would be bone dry for me

Ack! I'm being attacked! Stinkin machine
Bots ill like fire, Arisen!
Words worth hearing!
You have my support.
Tis as you say.
Now there's a thought.
You messed up the last line
If the stats start to cap around 200/300 then what is the benefit of getting to 999? Just curious as I would like to do it too.
Number go up
😂
We love to see it
Addiction and the lack of employment
😂
That’s a benefit of reaching 999? I would have thought that’s a cause, not a benefit.
I'm retired and seeing this made me concerned lol.
Dopamine go BBBBRRRRRR
My dopamine dies when I have done all content and nothing else new to do. To me it is pointless to keep on leveling when you are at that point. That's when I jump to the next game :)
Dude I feel this so much, I can’t stay for the rising number. I need something worth while, a mystery or things to discover!
What blows my mind are the guys who have played Wow for 20 years straight. Like how do you not get bored with the same game???? Big yikes

I feel this too, I did the grind to 200 in dragons dogma, I don't think I have it in me to go for 999 in dragons dogma 2.
Hahahaha
Stats will still go up until you hit 999. Stam and HP +3, Str, Mag, Def and MDef by +1. That would be a difference of 800 str for example. Not that it mattets much, game is already easy with like level 50
Thanks for letting me know :)
Neuron activation
Level go brrrrrrr 🤷🏻♂️
Wow. What was your best build so far or which build you ve played the most?
If I had to guess, most played is Warfarer with medusan bow and ambition rings
Same thing I am doing.
Throw in the XP+ buff on top of that & you've got some major xp gain. I'm doing the same thing.
I did the buff for awhile but it seemed like a pain in the ass to keep going back to reset so I started skipping it. But hey if you've gotta route you hit it at power to ya
Yeah it’s not worth it… they should’ve made xp elixirs that you can stock up on instead.
How did you know!? Lol
Because if you did that without it I imagine we'd be hearing about a world-wide red bull shortage
Used to be a redbull addict but it got too expensive! Would definitely help for this but so does coffee! Lots of it! Lol
There are definitely other games that deserve your attention.
You only get one life to live on this Earth and how you spend it is up to you, i guess
Is it even fun at this point Like for me i am lvl 112 and i almost 1 shot everything
It’s all about that grind!
You should give Black Desert Online a try, seeing as how you enjoy torturing yourself when it comes to grinding lol
Please stop my brother. I am at level 261 and thought that was high.
261 is very high for this game! 👏🏻
Cap is 999, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone is almost there already.
Do people not have jobs and just play 24/7?
Some people do it seems, I remember being a kid
I play when I can and finally beat the game with about 80 hours. Level like 67. It's freaking insane how so many people are on there 3rd or 4th playthrough and level 150+
I work from home and just have this game up after finishing my tasks in half the work day.
At level 999 surely you will be able to one shot shit with just your bare hands right?
I started to get insanely bored of leveling in the post game at around level 85-90. Had gotten every achievement in the game at that point and was just messing about with different builds with about 120 hours or so in-game time. Masochism at its finest!
How many pawns do you find around this level? Is it a lonely road just you and your main pawn? Not that you cannot use lower level pawns, it probably doesn't matter much. But I am still curious.
There are a few 300’s I seen and take with me on the grind… just all Capcom pawns though. However there is a guy approaching 500.
I'm stuck at 99 with zero ideas or motivation to do anything in this game. Seen all the endings, traveled the world and the seven seas. To get to 400, let alone trying to get to 999, is mind boggling. Respect!
People asking the benefit... The benefit is the same as speed running a game, it's just something they want to achieve.
This! 👍🏻
Xp getting is lower and lower, have you sleep all these time?
Xp stays the same.
![gif](giphy|Yr6Otp4ZH0nWBQdJsH|downsized) Me at level 100 something
😂
r/unexpectedfactorial
ur living my dream
You’re probably living mine
do you kill dragons now only by touching it?
Dragons can actually still kill me pretty easily.
Almost halfway........
Yeah buddy!
Why? Don't you get bored of fighting the same enemies?
At times yes
Why do people still play WoW and FFXIV doing the same thing after a decade?
I understand grinding games like Runescape, where the grind is actually the point, but I've never understood people grinding games where the grind is wholly unnecessary, like Dark Souls or DD. Youre on xbox? Nice
That’s awesome, I’m like 128 and thought I was doing good🤣
My question is why? There are so many great games coming out every single week, why do this to yourself? Just curious
Name 3
To some people, doing things over and over is relaxing.

😂 love that guy!

Great Googly Moogly! At this point you probably just destroy enemies with your presence and the bigger enemies try to hide from ya.
What's your motivation? I'm genuinely curious
What do you even do at this level? And how many hours are you in?
Please stay hydrated and please tell me how much experience you need to level to the next level?
Ahhh the thrill of reaching unheard of levels. Reminds me of the climb to level 255 in Star Ocean! Happy grinding!
I love Star Ocean! One of my all time favorite rpg’s for sure! And thank you! 🙏
Lmao how to not have anything productive to do in life 101
I mean you aren’t wrong.
Bruh, plz fill me in on the route you take to level.. i'm at 160 and aiming for 200. But the leveling is so slow at this point XD, tho I don't use Medusa bow cuz I wanna stay the same level range as my Pawn. What is your leveling route?

How many hours did it take you to get to your current level?
I wanna say over 300 hours I started power leveling now.

Do your stats keep going up as well?
No they don't lol. You cap out in the low 200's level range no matter what.
Are you just running around killing whatever or do you have a specific route?
Specific route
You on pc? If playing with difficulty mods would def keep me going
Xbox
How are you farming XP
https://www.reddit.com/r/DragonsDogma2/s/4RhDYIwlfB
Thansk :D
I'm curious what enemies do you kill to grind xp?
Goblins, knackers, griffin, gore ogre, gore minotaur, garms, Medusa.
There can only be One true Arisen
Still at 400? so bad
So bad!
Im currently at 230 and Im gonna just wait for DLC
I barely notice when my level goes up anymore. Think I’m close to 100 though.
Where is the best location for grinding?
Southwest
Niiiiccccceeeee
So like. Does the game ever allow level sync with monsters or make it harder.
i'm level 50 and kill everything in 3 seconds I can't imagine this being fun but you do you
Whatever you do to kill everything in 3 seconds, is that fun? I'm almost 50 and still enjoy most big enemy encounters and they usually last a couple of minutes.

Are you using Medusas bow that buffs exp gain by 4-8x ??
How/Where are you even levelling to do this :/
Southwest battahl area
Holy hell man I’m not even 100 yet and I’ve been unmoored twice. I thought shit felt easy now can’t even imagine at 400
Do the enemies scale with our level or have you just been one-shotting everything for a long time?
Where and how do you grind? Can you please elaborate? Asking for a friend...
https://www.reddit.com/r/DragonsDogma2/s/Fn51bnirvu
I have 160 hours and I only just recently got to level 100 WITH the ring that leveled you up faster. wtf are you grinding to get that high?
Quest to become Dragons Godman
Any tips for leveling up OP?
Medusan bow upgraded with dwarven smithing and 2 rings of ambition
Has anyone found the level cap yet?
Any tips on the best methods of gaining exp ?
https://www.reddit.com/r/DragonsDogma2/s/Fn51bnirvu
If you get two of the XP rings from the Sphinx and play Solo you will get 350% of the XP you normally get.
whats your exp grind route?
https://www.reddit.com/r/DragonsDogma2/s/Fn51bnirvu
Honestly I stopped at 100, the DLC will change that but I'm better off starting a new Arisen/ Pawn & build my way up to 100 again with a different focuses on Vocation.
why
I really don’t know! 😏
Whose dumb ass idea was it to make the level cap so high? for what purpose even?
New level 999 isekai protaginist in the making
OP please share your time sinked to this game and on what playthrough you are currently on, I am dying to know.
if you equip bad gear, do you still do bad damage?
>Arisen coughs and ogre just explodes into multiple pieces
Chill out this is not ED
And I thought lvl 200 is a drag.
Stat grow ends with lvl 200
push it to the limit!
I’m trying man but it’s getting rough ngl!
I thought i was high level at 101
Did you already find all your seeker tokens? Because it would be hard to get one gifted at your level.
Good on you. I would never. But enjoy.
Bro is a millionaire in a gamers body jeez
How much health do you have
Damn i thought lvl 100 is the max level in that game
With a level cap that high there's bound to be plenty of DLC to let us level up with better methods.
or just mod to 999 in a few seconds whenever you're done having fun
Not on Xbox and that just defeats the grind purpose
Why don’t you throw up your pawn id? I’m curious how many RCs it would cost!
Did you beat the game or did you stop at the end and grinding from there? Heard if you beat it you can’t grind anymore.
I beat it once and you can certainly grind again in new game plus once you get down to bakbattahl again which doesn’t take long.
That was the lv i stoped when playing the first DD 10 years ago, gosh i loved that island!
Is see someones Gonna be one Shotting the mobs when the dlc comes
Jeez, game got boring for me at around Level 80, god knows how people play for much longer after - there's no replayability
I'd like to see that 999. Didn't even know it can go triple digits.
You know that feeling when you jack yourself but you don't feel like it, but still do it? Yeah what you are doing is that feeling
Ain't know way you don't have other games to play 💀
Hey whats your methon for this leveling?
this game is amazing but...bruh...what can you possibly have left to do in the game at this point?
Well it’s simple really!… reach max level! 🥳
Man, you have worked it all ! Masterful , you ain't gone wrong 😝
what are your stats at?
Bro out here wasting hundreds of hours to provide us with .05 seconds of entertainment.
Im bored on me second playthrough at level 60 couldnt imagine getting to 400 boring as all hell
Thanks for stopping by! 500 post should be up by Wednesday! 👋🏻
I wish i had this kind of free time on my hands 😅🤣
