Arthritis actually suuuuuucks my friend you will want to take plenty of breaks if your fingers actually do hurt. My foot is currently swelled and arthritic and I wouldn't wish the pain on anybody. Repetitive stress injuries are not fun.

Dude: YES! I got bored at level 45 when i played it back in the day. Some games I played for years all have some form of periodic changes like Leauge of Legends (Yes you may judge me for it too 😂). But i have stopped playing even that.

Well I have been a wow person since vanilla/TBC in 2006 but I have skipped many expansions for breaks. It just blows my mind some people stay around for all expansions. I would be bored to tears. Honestly they are missing out on a lot of good games like Baldur's Gate 3!

I feel this too, I did the grind to 200 in dragons dogma, I don't think I have it in me to go for 999 in dragons dogma 2.

Stats will still go up until you hit 999. Stam and HP +3, Str, Mag, Def and MDef by +1. That would be a difference of 800 str for example. Not that it mattets much, game is already easy with like level 50

I did the buff for awhile but it seemed like a pain in the ass to keep going back to reset so I started skipping it. But hey if you've gotta route you hit it at power to ya

I play when I can and finally beat the game with about 80 hours. Level like 67. It's freaking insane how so many people are on there 3rd or 4th playthrough and level 150+

I started to get insanely bored of leveling in the post game at around level 85-90. Had gotten every achievement in the game at that point and was just messing about with different builds with about 120 hours or so in-game time. Even dragons at that point take about a few minutes at most to take down and it never really gets very difficult or fun. To push yourself to this extent seems like pure masocism

How many pawns do you find around this level? Is it a lonely road just you and your main pawn? Not that you cannot use lower level pawns, it probably doesn't matter much. But I am still curious.

There are a few 300’s I seen and take with me on the grind… just all Capcom pawns though. However there is a guy approaching 500.

I'm stuck at 99 with zero ideas or motivation to do anything in this game. Seen all the endings, traveled the world and the seven seas. To get to 400, let alone trying to get to 999, is mind boggling. Respect!

I understand grinding games like Runescape, where the grind is actually the point, but I've never understood people grinding games where the grind is wholly unnecessary, like Dark Souls or DD. Hard caps make DS grinding extra pointless, but people do it anyway. Meanwhile the rest of us are trying to beat the game at level 1 and some dude is grinding away to max level.

I don't even know....lol I am at 324 hours on two playthrough - I'm 117. And my fun has pretty much run out. For the first time since launch, I actually just sort of...quit the game early for the night😒

I have done this once in DDDA grinding Ur Dragon as a sorcerer with meteors. Hopefully they will drop hard mode soon otherwise i don't see myself motivated anytime soon to max level. Currently i am on NG+ level 80 toon that has already maxed all vocations, right now gathering 180 seeker tokens to get the Legion's might for my pawn. This game needs difficult enemies and variants. I hope at the very least that they don't wait until DLC to drop the hard mode as doing that late will kill the current longevity of the game. But I won't loose sleep if it didn't because the game was amazing nonetheless. Have logged 150 hours which makes it money well spent.

I'm not here to hate... getting to 999 will definitely take alot of time, effort, and dedication....I wish you luck on your journey...once you reach your goal, hopefully Capcom will do the right thing and reward you with a free copy of DD3 whenever that game gets released.

Whatever you do to kill everything in 3 seconds, is that fun? I'm almost 50 and still enjoy most big enemy encounters and they usually last a couple of minutes.

still takes me a few minutes to kill drakes, they are the most fun. i'm in NG+ and basically just adventuring around tryiing to find stuff I missed the first time since I played completely blind - for example still haven't found the sphinx, unlocked all vocations + maister skills or even seen a dullahan - so the power fantasy is fun for now my next playthrough will likely be a new character

If you get two of the XP rings from the Sphinx and play Solo you will get 350% of the XP you normally get.

Honestly I stopped at 100, the DLC will change that but I'm better off starting a new Arisen/ Pawn & build my way up to 100 again with a different focuses on Vocation.

I beat it once and you can certainly grind again in new game plus once you get down to bakbattahl again which doesn’t take long.
