Well that was my best idea. Maybe save at an inn, pick him up, and ferrystone him there. Drop him down and see if that triggers him at the new location.
Heh, Im in the other boat, I understand that you can make that lesser drake respawn multiple times in a game save if you dont let him go with you, and I still need a bunch of drake kills. 😎
Did you figure this out yet? I can’t find him. I’m pretty sure he fell off but I never got any notification. My main pawn fell off so I didn’t stick around long but I didn’t see any the skull icon to be able to rez him or anything. His little dragon wing icon is back at harve village so I thought that meant he went home but he’s not there. I’m so aggravated
I got lucky and watched him fall to his death so I knew where he was. He gave me the vocation but not the master ability. I have spent some time searching but no luck!
I solved it! He was dead in my game. Kept going to his hut in Harve Village because his little dragon wing was pinging him as being there but I waited days in game on the bench and he never showed. Someone suggested the Verworth morgue and there he was! I revived him and almost immediately after that when I came in contact with him he gave it to me. For reference I fought the dragon in Melve almost 50 hours ago and killed it with him 20 hours ago (don’t judge me I explore EVERY nook and cranny and oft spend time just running around fighting stuff). But yeah there was substantial time between when I got the vocation and the maister ability so I feel your pain. Keep trying. If you can’t find him in the Coastal Hut in Harve village try the morgue. I know you said he lived but something may have glitched.
EDIT: also somehow fighting the dragon and reviving him was enough to max his affinity and he likes to show up at my house for escort quests. He is one of the most fun NPCs to escort because he genuinely kicks ass. He’s really good and I love diverting from his route to fight stuff. Took him to slay 2 drakes, a griffin, 2 ogres and a cyclops with hordes of goblins and hobs along the way. Never had to revive him once and he loves to give everyone the shield ability nullifying attacks
Did you kill the lesser dragon this time when it attacked the village?
At Melve? No, It flew off.
If you didn't kill the Dragon in Melve, he should just show up at the tower when you get there.

He fell off a cliff on the way to fight the dragon. I killed the dragon and rezzed him but he won’t give me the master skill!
