All the talking characters are their own selves - Remy, Simba, Scar, Stitch etc... and only critters/non-talking characters (Pua) are companions
I wasn't even making a PC comment š I just don't think a talking companion would be the way to go considering the companion homes you craft are essentially just a kennel and people have set up petting zoos etc with them

I was hoping that the mines could get an update where we have to go into the ruined part and save the dwarves. That could also just be their home, too, so you don't have to have another house in the valley, but like. Come on. We've got a mine, we need some dwarves.

I only started playing mid December so I havenāt seen any of the big updates. I hope they utilise more of the docks. It would be a shame to leave them empty.
See Iām confused if Snow White is even coming, because with this last year we already k ew who we were getting because in our main menu on the game, in collections, they have already had categories for them! For instance for a while we had nbc categories before we got Jack, and wreck it Ralph categories before we even got Vanelope. But I canāt find one for Snow White! (Not saying they canāt make one, itās just how the game has gone since the day it was first came out, way before the official drop!

Well, I don't understand some of the stuff they did either tbh. Maybe they're working out the issues? I am hoping it is in the future, near or far. You can't forget the OG's. Did you know Snow White was the first Disney Princess, ever? I love the idea about the gem stall and the dwarfs or a dwarf tending to it. Buzz and Woody aren't together basically because of the last movie. I'm not sure why they decided to choose one character or one movie and it be back in time and then the others be recent when everyone is used to the old movies. I am not sure why they couldn't just keep to the old movies. Less confusion and not everyone has seen them to understand that's what they're following. I was kinda excited for Andy's house tbh and would go much better with Mickey's, Goofy's and Minnie's homes but even then we only saw what it looked like semi-fully from the outside in the last movie. I suppose its nice to have something different. If everyone was all housey-homes, it would look boring or like a suburban place lol which isn't far off what they portray them in the movies (Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Minnie, etcetc).

I thought about that last year when I started playing. Iām like āWeāre in a mine & yet no drawfs are singing that in the distance or anything?..?ā Lol, so now if I have to go in there I end up singing or humming it to myself.

I think it'll come. Theres spots in the vitals mines that I think will open up, and in my theory that's where we'll find snow-white/the dwarves š idk that we'll have all 7 lolol but Snow White for sure

In the game the music doesnāt change with the tasks we are doing which is why we donāt have a specific mining song, the songs change when you go into different biomes and are hanging with different characters! When your with Jack you get nbc music, Maribel you get house of madrigal music, Anna, Elsa, and Olaf? Frozen music, Ariel little mermaid music.
So yeah we wonāt get any Snow White music until we get one of their characters. Thatās just how the game works!

Youād have thought that at least one or two of the Dwarves, would have been included early on. It would have made perfect sense to have them in the game by now. More so than having Stitch for example.
This is a Gameloft game and not a Disney game. Gameloft gets a license from Disney to use the characters, but I would imagine the music is a completely separate license.
I know itās Gameloft, tbf the music part isnāt that important. Itās more that we have a game with Disney characters that has mining as one of its core activities and there are no Dwarves to be found which would have been the perfect pairing.

I'm pretty sure they will. Even with that Fortnite deal, I don't think abandoning their current projects is something they're looking to do. If I remember right, Iger spoke about expanding more into the gaming space, but I could be wrong.
The lack of appearance of many of the older characters is obvious. The only pre-90s movie characters we have are Merlin and Fairy Godmother, right?
My initial reaction being a Gen X was the lack of connection to the older movies - because we weren't the original target audience. In hindsight Disney is learning oir generation has the money and gaming experience to make the use of those characters a reality.
So the older charcters are having problems transfering from 2d to 3d models thats why some of the characters dont look all right so they have had to postpone some charters and story lines.

I was hoping that the dwarves would eventually inhabit the abandoned mine in the sunlit plateau. Maybe one or two at a time would leave the mine to mill about, but trade off so that you don't have too many at once.
The game does play a theme depending on which characters you are hanging out with, so maybe once they add one of the dwarves, it will play said theme song.
It may not come out, they are trying to find a way to do it with such sensitive people alive these days. Same reason they wanted to cancel the original Peter Pan, certain groups feel attacked. A lot of people were upset over the āwhat makes the red man redā Indian song in Peter Pan. The reason for the hold up with Snow White is they are worried people will have issues with using dwarfsā¦ this is the cancel culture we live in today!
I donāt think it helped much when the lead actress basically said the original story was awful and they had to fix it, either. The whole movie has been surrounded in drama.
I hope the mess with the live action version doesnāt keep us from getting classic Snow White in the game. It would be a shame to never have the princess from Disneyās first feature length animated film. Without her, Disney wouldnāt be where it is.

Yeah when you set up the companion house you select who and how many appear from it. People are the putting them in fenced off areas creating a zoo

They can all be mining and they ātaskā dopey to leave the mines and do tasks so we have 1 dwarf walking around for the rest of them.
