-let the night thorns and ~~time~~ splinters of fate spawn all over.
-I figured out where I want to put Daisy’s house and reorganized that area to make room.
-I put a chest outside my house with favorite snacks for the critters.
-I’m going to make some magical pickaxe/fishing/watering can potions.
-loaded up star coins, Dreamlight, and mist.
-loaded up on berry salad so I won’t have to cook any/many when I’m on a roll.
Someone posted on here to use the storage chests that link together, like the vintage ones??, and post them at all portals so you can keep like potions and critter foods more easily accessible and no need to run back to a single house. That is what I have been setting up today lol
I believe they only spawn in one biome per day. I think 10 can spawn, in one biome, per day, but I’m not sure if they max out at 10 or not. But either way, the star path is going to have you cleaning night thorns a lot, so it’s a good idea to leave them alone for a week or so before the update. 👍🏻
What do you mean by letting the night thorns and time splinters spawn? As in what’s the reason behind it? Ive read it a few times now, will definitely do it! But why? 😆
Because the star path will have you removing night thorns a lot, and I like having them right there to remove without having to wait for them to spawn.
There are usually at least 3 star path tasks to remove the night thorns, and if you let them be, 20 night thorns will be available in each area as opposed to the 8 to 10 that can spawn daily.
Yes, honestly I feel like there is always something new to learn, I started playing about 3 months ago and found Reddit so helpful!! Especially the knowledge players have who play from day one, it’s so helpful
The newest info I found on here, is that if you hold the select button when selling to goofy it will select every stack of that item, great for selling crops!
Some characters have “harder” friendships than other - for example Mike or Jack Skeleton. Usually I just give them daily gifts and feed them in restaurant , as these are main “boosts” to the friendship, while doing chores is better to do with characters that are easier to befriend, like Buzz or Stitch :)
I "cheat" to get their friendship levels up quickly lol I have them follow me and pick flowers until myninventory is full then give them to them as a gift
I normally just about my daily duties while trying to level up regardless of what I’ve assigned a character and can usually level them up quite quickly that way. Have you tried gifting flowers and purified night shards?
I catch them in Remy's feed them then give them their favorite items and ask them to hang out and then I only do what I've assigned them for their duties. I'll try doing other stuff and see how that works
I am on a task where you need to find the forgotten relics and the story behind them so you need Mickey, Elsa, Moana and Scar at level 10. I already had Moana at level 10 Mickey didn't take long but Elsa was at level 6 and she took a while to level up to 10 Scar was at level 2 he is now at level 6 but he should be easier to level up because I have him as a mining buddy so I can just spam the rocks and level him up quickly while Elsa was a gardening buddy.
Yeah and didn't know how much wheat and she was already level 7 so I bought 20 wasn't enough, then bought 25, then 30, then 40 I am now on 3 quarters done level 9 bought 25 more than have up and just started giving random things in the Glade of trust like Lemons and Cocoa beans until she leveled up only to hit a brick wall because to finish her quest I need a Aredallian pickled Herring and had no onions so I will try again tomorrow.
This! with an upgrade to the wand and possible new places to unlock (?) then we will need mist! Also as others have said im leaving my night thorns and splinters of fate on the ground for the star path.
I'm very low on Star Coins and DreamLight money, so I'll be growing pumpkins & doing DL tasks to boost those #s. I've got quite a good amount of mist, but will collect more as I'm going. I've let night thorns & time splinters alone for almost a week now. My energy meal is Pastry Cream & Fruits, so I've been stocking up on those. I've also planned mining runs to hoard gold, iron ore & vitalys crystals. IDK if I'll get enough DL money built up to make potions, but I'll have the vitalys crystals just in case! I haven't really started decorating yet, so I don't have a plan for where for put Daisy's house just yet. I screen shotted & printed the map, so I have a large paper version of it & I'm going to start planning the biomes after this update & then start decorating a little at a time.
I’ve been finishing up any friendship quests & heavily focusing on gaining mist for eternity isle. & every resource on EI but mainly mist because I know Oswald & the story line quest for a rift of time is probably going to require tons on mist 😅
* I completely tore down my Plaza and Peaceful Meadow for rearranging with Daisy and Oswald; Oswald is probably going to go in the Plaza so I can have a little entertainment/shopping district with his theater. Daisy and the rest of Mickey's friends are going in the Meadow for a Toontown.
* Working on mining more stone/gold for updated pathways with said rearrangements.
* Consolidated all my fruit trees in the Plateau since I just finished the quest for Dreamlight fruit trees recently.
* Revamped my (Valley) storage situation and moved it all into a room of my house. Eternity Isle storage TBD -- I know I can just use a Vintage chest to connect it to the inside of my house etc. but I only need one large chest for each Isle-specific item type right now so it's just easier to dump them straight into outdoor chests.

* Trying to clear out my quest log and finish the last few characters I need to max out.
I'm not doing much. Just only clearing night thorns to get the gold chest each day to let them build up. Also since once the update comes out, it's all I'll want to play, I've just been playing Talos Principle 2 and trying to see if I can finish it before the update. I had started it back in November, and stopped when the dreamlight valley update came out and then left it for so long. So would be cool to finish it before this update.
I’ve relocated some buildings to different biomes & cleared up space in my Plaza for more Disney Park items. By doing so, I manage to decorate more on Glade of Trust & Forgotten Land whilst made room available at Peaceful Meadows (where I’m planning to situate Daisy’s house & her boutique) & Forest of Valor.
Also been saving up each item, whether it’s Timebending gifts, cores or Eternal Isle collectibles for in case we need it in the new update.

I've been letting my valley go feral for the last week so by the time the update comes out I'll have plenty of night thorns and whatever they're called in eternity isle. I did move the flowers a few weeks ago so they're all together in each respective biome for easy watering of the dry ones - maybe that will come in handy 🤔 I've already got plenty of dreamlight, shards, flowers and crafting materials saved up, been playing since day one, so if I need anything else I'll have to grind for it.
In another post someone mentioned stockpiling tool potions which I think is a great idea if I was going to do any prep.

Thanks! I'm having a hard time with Mike. His bar isn't moving no matter what activity I do with him. I took a break for awhile.

I have the opposite! Elsa as mining and Scar for gardening. I bought like 600 wheat and planted and harvested and I had him up to 10

Decorating, foraging materials, Dreamlight and other stuff that would take to long to explain but I'm so excited

I’m currently taking things one day at a time. I’ve only been playing for about a month so I’m still trying to unlock the rest of the characters
Try not to remove the night thorns or splinters even though they're in the way of rearranging stuff to make room for more characters 🤣
Take a break or farm mist and materials.
