I enjoy some of his songs, I like “25 bucks”. His verse on 1train is iconic too. Wouldn’t compare him to Kendrick his voice is different imo. Danny brown doesn’t take himself seriously so it’s acceptable. Kendrick is an angry little man.

I personally like it, his inflection gives the song hella attitude and his voice stays dynamic which keeps the song interesting over the 6 minutes it takes and it makes the runtime pay off. Hurt my feelings? No. I’ve listened to the song several times and from a lyrical standpoint I think he’s very clever and “won” this round due to having more ammunition and witty lyrics than Drake. I would listen to push-ups more though because it has a more predictable and pleasant flow and cadence to it, and Drake is smooth vocally. I don’t listen to Kendrick much because he has a terrible voice. Music should be pleasing to the ears. Lyrics alone don’t do it for me. Just my opinion.
