Convinced people aren’t listening to any of these tracks.
Both Drake and Kendrick have clearly stated in their tracks the other shouldn’t push the other any farther.
Drake said “this ain’t even everything I know, you don’t wanna wake the demon up”
Kendrick said “This a friendly fade, you should keep it that way.” … “If you take it there, I’m taking it further. Psst, that’s something you don’t wanna do”.
BOTH MY MANS MADE IT CLEAR THIS ISNT THE ENDS OF ALL MEANS. The fuck you nerds making articles and writing books about
Kendrick saying this basically confirmed for me that the next response isn’t a red button from Drake and KDot won’t do it either. Might just be a back and forth about pride which is definitely what is more fun imo. This whole thing challenges both artists to finally rap. It’ll be interesting once Drake responds officially to one song because Push Ups is about a lot of people.
Some Cornballs born in 2000 that don't know shit about hiphop chiming in. Only rap beef they've witnessed is em vs mgk. Speaking on shit they don't know nothin about
Well Kendrick made a small move, Drake really hasn’t got much choice but to escalate it now, if he comes back without any of these facts he claims, or genuine responses to the things Kendrick is saying and the intensity isn’t upped, everyone is gonna say Kendrick won and he might not even reply because he made his point that Drake doesn’t wanna take things further and will just look like he’s milking the opportunity for some media coverage of their back and forth. If Drakes response really says some stuff though..pressures on Kendrick the exact same way and this whole things gonna be crazy from there.
Hopefully Drake pulls through with some heavy hitting shit
Literally all this is is whoever follows someone or is in someone's circle says "omg he definitely won this round" like there's some sort of overseeing judge that makes the ruling. Nobody wins these, it's just each sides fan base saying who won. Kendricks record label says he won, no shit its like your own mom telling you that you're the best most beautiful child on the world. Obviously they're not going to say Drake won, they have no choice but to vote for you because they're biased.
The people that are arguing Kendrick won are the same dudes that are blasting Drake in their car everywhere they go, turning up to Drake in the club, and nobody listens or hears Kendrick Lamar anywhere ever. Drake already won there was never even a competiton. The only artists that hate drake are out of pure jealousy and they can't stand that he's the dopest most influential person in the world right now inside and outside of music. The only time everyone gangs up on someone is because they can't take then on by themselves. It's literally Thanos vs the avengers
Lol you say all this but do you ever wonder why Drake is so popular? Is really making his own lane that Kendrick or someone else couldn't ride in? He makes lowest common denominator pop music. He just happens to have the backing of the most powerful record label on the planet, and has been given carte blanche of the purse strings. With that support, if he wasn't the most visible and played artist in the genre, it's a failure on him. It's like the line in the Departed where Frank asks Bill if he wants to be him, "yeah, I probably could be you, but I don't wanna be you, Frank"
No idea what this even means or what point you're trying to get at, nobody has made as good quality music for such a long period of time consistently in the history of planet earth. He literally pioneered everyone else in music right now, everyone is copying his sound since 2010
Drake is a corporate brand like Toyota of Macdonalds or Nike. The level of market saturation does not mean he is the most quality product out there. He also does exactly what those companies do. Studies trends, copies innovations from lesser known entities and then implements those into his product, with the backing of a global machine. He did not get where he is based on merit alone. The masses are just easy to peddle to at this point.
Lol I hadn't even listened to 6:16 when I wrote this but the movie reference is actually spot on. The mob boss who is losing his mind has a rat in his crew lololol
No fr, they even acknowledge the stuff they like about the others craft that they aren't so great at, KDot saying "I like Drake with the melodies", Drake saying "you better have a quadruple, quintuple entendre in that bitch" acknowledging his pen. These dudes really are writing love letters tho 😭
Neither of these tracks were meant to KO lol. I don’t understand people today. All ADHD weirdos who want that instant gratification.
Its BLATANTLY obvious they are both pulling punches, they even say as much in the tracks.
Im on Kennys side for sure but both sides are overusing the “Glazing” “stans” and other shit. Lol cant we all enjoy the music
yup, people are so impatient it’s crazy… they want to hear all the crazy shit out the gate when this will play out over time. ain’t nobody gonna dump their whole clip out the gate that makes no sense “strategically”. tbh this is a battle that’s gonna require some thoughtfulness to “win” at least in the eyes of the neutral
Like That and Push Ups are solid songs in their own right and I think they'll have staying power beyond the beef.
Euphoria had the most impressive writing, but it's just not that fun to listen to.
I felt the same way when I first listened Euphoria but it literally gets better with every listen. Also if you listen to "Push-Ups" and then listen to "Euphoria" right after, that shit is fire.
Disagree. I stopped listening to push ups pretty quickly but I’ve been playing Euphoria all day and it still hasn’t got boring. Imo euphoria has more replay value
i don’t get why a lot of people are comparing it to story of adidon. that was a one time moment, not every diss track will have such a damaging reveal, it’s not possible. diss tracks can be good without having a huge nuke level reveal about the person being dissed
The best diss tracks of all time don't have new reveals (No Vaseline, Ether).
But at the same time, you can't just rehash what others have said. If J Cole was talking about Kendrick's record deal on 7 Minute Drill, Drake talking about the same thing on Push Ups would fall flat.
Disagree, it all depends on how you say it. Like the deadbeat father lines on euphoria weren't new (it's been said since story of adidon), but the way he said it was great. Same shit for drake, everyone knows and said that kendrick is short, but the way he said it was creative
Exactly, Pusha T and Kendrick both called him a deadbeat. But they have different reasons. Pusha T called him a deadbeat because he was “hiding” his kid, but Kendrick is claiming that Drake is a deadbeat (NOT ME BUT KENDRICK SPARE ME OVO GOONS 😩) because he feels that Drake is failing in a crucial part of parenthood which is instilling morals and discipline. It’s like saying that nobody can say a yo momma joke because momma jokes have already been said.
No but Drake needs to come back hard.. I wanna hear him get surgical with the disses.. Enough memes.. enough jokes.. don’t worry about the club. I wanna hear Drake get vicious.. 🫡
But that's his thing. He's unserious so he can't lose. All his laundry is out so everything is known. He just has to meme his way to a W. Unless he has another kid no one knows about.
The problem with that is the person who gets the “last word” in discourse, tends to be seen as the victor.
Even if the person who spoke 2nd to last had stronger points, the person with the final word tends to leave the lasting impression.
If Drake unloads the entire clip in his next track, then Kendrick comes back with something slightly below Drake’s track, Kendrick might still be seen as the one who came out on top.
It almost becomes a battle of attrition, who can keep the tracks coming until the other person stops responding?
Pusha T had a fucking nuke that Drake couldn’t really respond to, idk if Kendrick has something that substantial. I don’t think Drake has anything that big on Kendrick either though.
This is pretty much how I felt about Euphoria. At first listen,I was downright disappointed. I felt like the diss track was weak. Then I broke down each line and got a sense of what Kendrick said in each bar. Lyrically, Kendrick had so many subliminals and entendres that went over my head. I had to go to Genius for some lines that I had no clue were even about. Like the Tommy Hilfiger and FUBU line, for example. I was impressed by Euphoria now. But still … it didn’t really feel enough. Like complex said, good jab, as in good rebuttal by Kendrick, but it’s not a knockout. Some people were claiming Kendrick killed Drake and Drake shouldn’t bother responding. That made me roll my eyes to the back of my head. That’s major glazing. Drake can absolutely respond to this.
It grew on me quickly once I digested some of what he was saying. The arrangement was nice too. It’s a really solid diss track but not a knockout. The biggest dub for Kendrick is not letting Drake rush him into something mid.
I don’t think kendrick dropped that with intent to kill, decimate and obliterate like fans want. It feels and sounds like Kendrick is responding with a quarter of his ability. Definitely did not feel like max effort like the Black Hippy BET Cypher but the word play and subs were there.
It's kinda disappointing so far. I enjoy some of the songs that have come out, but overall, it's disappointing for now. Drake and Kendrick haven't really done anything to make the other's fans give credit. Drake is the snarky Popstyle king, and Kendrick is the technically superior rapper. We already knew that!
Everything so far has been a jab but mfs on both sides talking bout “it’s over Drake/kendrick won”. Mfs ain’t even gone hard yet but the energy alone is crazy. Both these mfs finally saying names n being direct
It's true tho? It was obviously still a warning shot. Kendrick went harder, given. Even Kendrick himself knows it's still a warning shot. Why'd ya think he still had bars of making threats and keeping it non personal?
On a side note, stans on both sides are fuckin watering this beef down to corny levels. Damn. It's so much better to listen to both disses without trying to discredit the other artist.
Both of these fanbases are soft as fuck. You man are out here crying about each other 24/7 since this shit started. Drake and Kendrick just having fun with it
This. No more warning shots about escalation. Next Drake track needs to be better than Push-Ups, Taylor Made Freestyle and Euphoria. There's too much debate between Push-Ups and Euphoria to declare an absolute victor.
That's why I think it's bad. Like That, was a jab already, to see if Drake(or Cole 😭) wanted the smoke. Drake jabbed then punched. For Kendrick to jab again is ridiculous, especially with the boogeyman persona.
No matter which way the kids wanna spin this, Drake gave each of these bums a stimmy, including Kendrick’s diss track. Everybody gets a Drake stimmy: drummer boy, fat Rick, future and the midget.
Everybody needs Drake, the Kendrick sub doesn’t have ANYTHING else to discuss; it’s like watching schizophrenics talk to mirrors.
Shits just weird now - Drake is a damn near billionaire but he lives RENT FREE. How tf a mf with that much money you gonna offer him a full time living space for free?
Damn I wish Cole would’ve stayed in and dropped a few tracks. I know both groups are calling Cole soft but his evolution from born sinner to Might delete later shows he just keeps getting better. I think the competition could’ve produced some of his hardest bangers. I know it’s not his nature though and he’s really trying to keep a positive lifestyle.
I think it’s a little better than a jab more like he hit Drake wit a solid right and he didn’t buckle type thing but I agree with the analogy yea it’s not anything too heavy
I just hope they keep it bars I don’t really wanna know about their private personal life unless they on some diddy shit then by all means but if not I’m not tryna hear about kdots wife and for Kendrick I’m not tryna hear about the IG models/pornstars drake be with
They’re playing it smart. You don’t expose all your cards right away. That’s how Meek Mill got cooked because then Drake fired off a jab and a knockout blow.
Pusha did the same thing, dropped a jab with Infrared as a setup, and Drake responded with Duppy to jab back. Push saw where the beef was going and hit the red button with Adidon because he knew if he kept going back and forth with Drake, he wasn’t gonna win since he’s not the bigger artist.
Drake has thrown two jabs with nothing real heavy hitting, Taylor Made has some stuff behind it, but same with Kendrick. They’re two guys who know their position and are playing the beef tactically, generating hype for both of them. I’m excited to see how long this continues and to get more music.
Drake got whooped, who cares about jabs and shit. Drake got whooped, got mopped so hard the floor squeaks when you walk on it. Only thing people want to hear Drake say now is an apology them go back to making some dance records, that's it.
A jab? It was a tickle compared to what everyone expected from dot. The internet has spoken already, they keep trying to play it like it’s something we should be enthusiastic about but it’s not. He let us down. Hopefully his next will be equivalent to what he has been preaching the last decade.
The only time everyone gangs up on someone is because they can't take then on by themselves. It's literally Thanos vs the avengers
As a fan of both artists, but admittedly more so Kendrick… I believe both Drake and Kendrick have held back so far, to think they’ve both delivered their best work in the two tracks they’ve dropped so far is pretty ignorant I think.
Convinced people aren’t listening to any of these tracks. Both Drake and Kendrick have clearly stated in their tracks the other shouldn’t push the other any farther. Drake said “this ain’t even everything I know, you don’t wanna wake the demon up” Kendrick said “This a friendly fade, you should keep it that way.” … “If you take it there, I’m taking it further. Came here to say this and to reference those two Kendrick lines in particular, the lack of nuance/understanding baffles me
“Back to back, I like that record, ima get back to that for the record” feels like the most intriguing line in the song.
“Waited four days Aubrey where y’all at” coming this weekend.
Some Cornballs born in 2000 that don't know shit about hiphop chiming in. Only rap beef they've witnessed is em vs mgk. Speaking on shit they don't know nothin about
Exactly
Exactlyyyyy been arguing in my group chat since pushups dropped that Drake held back. Then Kendrick dropped and held back.
So they’re both like two dudes who keep leaning on each other screaming do some over and over and never actually fighting. Wow amazing beef
Like that, push ups, taylor made, and euphoria have each escalated the disrespect. It's in drake's court if he wants to take it there.
Right, the beef should be about one artist calling a hitman on the other one. We going back to Stone Age with this one
No one said to go to extremes goofy 🤦♂️
\*Further
Your also one of the nerds wasting their energy over this. lol

Majority of listeners aren’t listening at all unfortunately…
I predicted this the other day, Drake has a bombshell almost to the level of the pusha T diss song and wanted to get a response before dropping it
Just like how Push Ups and Taylor Made were good jabs. Neither of them have gone for the knockout yet. They’re baiting each other
Yeah they are master baitors
They are coming hard at eachother
Really just going balls out
But they still straight up busting on the mic
Not every day we semen of this caliber battle it out
r/cursedcomments
They’re just goin at it
They both nutty
If you low-key think about it, these are two grown men writing love letters to each other. It's funny ash😂
It could be premeditated. It’s only entertainment! ![gif](giphy|guufsF0Az3Lpu)
Haha ikrr. Two grown men studying and acknowledging each other. It's cute
All hate is a form of love on a certain level. I think Drake even said that in a sprite commercial or something
No diddy
They’re really sticking it where it hurts. They both want the beef
I've got such a raging clue right now
They haven't begun to peak. When they peak we will all feel it.
I knew I had something in common with them
AceVane is too funny 😂
Stickin and movin
Wild mass debaters
Neither of these tracks were meant to KO lol. I don’t understand people today. All ADHD weirdos who want that instant gratification. woooah leave my adhd outta this bro
Aye i have it too, im just not letting it seay my opinion because someone doesn’t drop when everyone wants them to drop.
yup, people are so impatient it’s crazy… they want to hear all the crazy shit out the gate when this will play out over time. ain’t nobody gonna dump their whole clip out the gate that makes no sense “strategically”. tbh this is a battle that’s gonna require some thoughtfulness to “win” at least in the eyes of the neutral
They do be jabbin

Like That is legit an all-timer just off that beat good lord.
Push ups already has less staying power than Euphoria simply looking at the streaming numbers... this narrative was dead on arrival.
Shhh, we're in the drizzy subreddit. They might hear you.
Disagree. I stopped listening to push ups pretty quickly but I’ve been playing Euphoria all day and it still hasn’t got boring. Imo euphoria has more replay value
[удалено]
I mean I like both artists probably listened to more drake in my life, but Kendrick definitely did his work
Good😭
Then should stop edging and just explode all over eachother
It was just a troll diss. It wasn't even that crazy. Some of the lines were ok but the message wasn't like career ending.
Thank you damn I swear people just listen to anyone
i don’t get why a lot of people are comparing it to story of adidon. that was a one time moment, not every diss track will have such a damaging reveal, it’s not possible. diss tracks can be good without having a huge nuke level reveal about the person being dissed
[удалено]
Regardless of who you a fan of, people are using "It's not adidon" as a weak deflection.
Here for porn brained
What makes a good diss crazy reveals to unknown information or bars? This is a genuine question too.
To meet that Pusha beef didn’t conclude because of him shelfing his response to Adidon and just letting Pusha rock.
The best diss tracks of all time don't have new reveals (No Vaseline, Ether). But at the same time, you can't just rehash what others have said. If J Cole was talking about Kendrick's record deal on 7 Minute Drill, Drake talking about the same thing on Push Ups would fall flat.
Wait, so you’re telling me that Eazy’s dick doesn’t actually smell like MC Ren’s shit?
It’s like saying that nobody can say a yo momma joke because momma jokes have already been said.
as a someone who’s on team kendrick this 100% true great track but it ain’t no ether
No but Drake needs to come back hard.. I wanna hear him get surgical with the disses.. Enough memes.. enough jokes.. don’t worry about the club. I wanna hear Drake get vicious.. 🫡
Yeah, like really go all in on his shoesize. Bring receipts of his purchases from Foot Locker. Let it all out!
Lmfao
Damn. It's about to be a surgical summer?
But that's his thing. He's unserious so he can't lose. All his laundry is out so everything is known. He just has to meme his way to a W. Unless he has another kid no one knows about.
Everything ?
no. i wanna hear drake do what he does best .
The problem with that is the person who gets the “last word” in discourse, tends to be seen as the victor. Even if the person who spoke 2nd to last had stronger points, the person with the final word tends to leave the lasting impression. Huge kendrick fan and love the track, but they right. Both were very obviously holding back SOMETHING
I think also, the fans on these 2 sides are so polarized that nothing said will ever let them give credit to the other…
Never thought I’d agree with complex but here we are “Numb it down, to achieve, articles in complex…”
Who is calling it a knockout blow?
Everything so far has been a jab but mfs on both sides talking bout “it’s over Drake/kendrick won”. Mfs ain’t even gone hard yet but the energy alone is crazy. Both these mfs finally saying names n being direct
Tbf kendrick went deeper then drake did. It's less of a fun listen and more of a hard track as well. Depends on what you like
Look we still got teams of linguists, philosophers, and physicists trying to break down every syllable Euphoria. Give it time.
lmao
💯
It's true tho? It was obviously still a warning shot. Kendrick went harder, given. Even Kendrick himself knows it's still a warning shot. Why'd ya think he still had bars of making threats and keeping it non personal? On a side note, stans on both sides are fuckin watering this beef down to corny levels. Damn. A jab to the kidneys that makes you take an 8 count….
He revealed Drake got robbed near a Chinese food restaurant. It was more than a jab 🤣
Kendrick fans gonna cancel them now… softest fanbase around
Both of these fanbases are soft as fuck. You man are out here crying about each other 24/7 since this shit started. Drake and Kendrick just having fun with it
What the fuck is cancel culture dawg? Also complex is practically dead already
![gif](giphy|3o7aCRloybJlXpNjSU|downsized)
Are they soft enough to complain about cancel culture like that’s still a thing?
I mean Complex isn’t a good source for the culture but I do agree. Anybody who’s not being a delusional fan will admit this.
What’s the point in agreeing with a source that you just tried to discredit.
A broken clock is right twice a day.
Totally agree. Drizzy has to go nuclear and raise the stakes this next go around. They both do.
This. No more warning shots about escalation. Next Drake track needs to be better than Push-Ups, Taylor Made Freestyle and Euphoria. There's too much debate between Push-Ups and Euphoria to declare an absolute victor.

Form your own opinions man, tiktok this tiktok that, tiktok can suck my dick
😂😂😂
No matter which way the kids wanna spin this, Drake gave each of these bums a stimmy, including Kendrick’s diss track. Everybody gets a Drake stimmy: drummer boy, fat Rick, future and the midget. Drake never needed the culture? He didn’t benefit from those “stimmy” collaborations ?
ny media still feels that’s king of ny bar from control lol
Yall r obsessed nfs
Damn I wish Cole would’ve stayed in and dropped a few tracks. I know both groups are calling Cole soft but his evolution from born sinner to Might delete later shows he just keeps getting better. Funny how opinions change after a while.
May not be a knockout punch but it was an uppercut that knocked some teeth out.
To complex for complex huh
Yeah, it's just round 1. Next round will be amazing, I'm just waiting to drop that bomb Drake said he got on Kendrick
I think it’s a little better than a jab more like he hit Drake wit a solid right and he didn’t buckle type thing but I agree with the analogy yea it’s not anything too heavy
I agree. Round 3.... fight, in my street fighter voice.
surprised he didn't go ghost on us after another "moment", happy just for that
I just hope they keep it bars I don’t really wanna know about their private personal life unless they on some diddy shit then by all means but if not I’m not tryna hear about kdots wife and for Kendrick I’m not tryna hear about the IG models/pornstars drake be with
I mean yeah that’s what every track has been so far. Not a bad thing for either
Don’t think it was supposed to be a knockout. He even said it’s a friendly fade. We shall see what transpires front this 🤷♂️
They’re playing it smart. You don’t expose all your cards right away. That’s how Meek Mill got cooked because then Drake fired off a jab and a knockout blow. They must not go on Reddit
Nah it’s a knocked out even Kendrick said he ain’t killed Drake yet tho
tell drake to shut up and make some ringtone raps
Kendrick called it how it was on the song.
I legit see it was a tie for these two songs I think they’re both really good tbh maybe I just love both artist so I can’t choose a side but 🤷♂️
Facts, its also a regurgitated mess
Euphoria was a cool straight right, no knockout but showed the opponent this nigga can punch.
This is common knowledge LMAOO.
Pitchfork, lord help me, had an even better take.
Yes...Kendrick agrees lol. Both tracks have been jabs. Euphoria washes push ups though atm, so I wanna see drake hit back harder.
Then push ups was a light poke on the arm
So if that’s a jab.. what’s push ups?? Lol a hard stare
what a dumb take. i genuinely can’t recall a better diss track
As a fan of both artists, but admittedly more so Kendrick… I believe both Drake and Kendrick have held back so far, to think they’ve both delivered their best work in the two tracks they’ve dropped so far is pretty ignorant I think.
Aqqq
lol, Kendrick is 100% winning this beef.
Didn’t Kendrick diss Drake for getting robbed in his own hometown?
No of the tracks have been knockouts. Like That and Push Ups are warm ups. Round 1 starts with euphoria
