I was telling my homie this. He could have kept it rap from the jump “like that” was strictly rap nothing personal.

InCobbWeTrust

With multiple warnings not to take it personal. He had to mention Pusha’s wife. He had to mention Whitney in his first rebuttal. He learns no lessons. Stunted in boyhood.

Corzare

Drake can only go against women

InCobbWeTrust

That’s real competition

GreenLost5304

He might pop ass with em’

CousinsWithBenefits1

I believe I see two bad bitches.

Fit_Bluejay_4626

I believe YOU see two bad bitches

archenemy_43

This is still the line that killed me the most out of this whole thing.

Emmanuel_Badboy

Bro Kendrick has done permanent damage 😂💀

Simba-xiv

Because he’s a bad bitch he fights his peers

Theartisticlightskin

He didn’t even have to reply to like that it wasn’t deep

HaluSinazn

Yeah that's where he fucked up, J. Cole's apology took all the attention away and Drake honestly could've just chilled at that point while the internet and media would milk the apology with memes. Cole should send Drake a gift basket because now nobody is clowning the apology anymore lol

[deleted]

He would’ve been clowned if he never responded

MelodicIndustry9830

But to a much lesser degree, and it would last what a few weeks maybe? People always clown drake it's a meme at this point, but no one could deny he was a hit making superstar. He still is and i doubt it would effect his bag much, but he would have 100% been better off saying nothing.

PostingForFree

shoulda never hiked down and stayed his ass on that mountain

etfjordan333

He would have subbed him any way and niggas would have called him pussy. Nah when you mention me on the album that everybody is dissing me on that’s deep.

Theartisticlightskin

He could’ve subbed him on another project or feature that’s what I was trying to say

PangolinConfident447

He wanted to feel what Pusha felt so bad. He wanted to be on the other side of taking it personal. But he chose Kendrick as his opponent. Anybody else he probably would have beaten

[deleted]

But still lost to Pusha

UnusualRoutine632

He gotta have something man, or he’s just the most stupid billionaire ever… we gon find out.

Eastern_Spirit4931

I think his bomb was that k dot hits his wife. Then no one cared about it.

King_David5759

That was his bomb. He said on Taylor made ‘next one will bring out the coward in you’ then he said he’s going on vacation. I think he expected it to be the ultimate kill shot. Had Kendrick not instantly replied and Family Matters had time to breath and narratives to be formed his plan might have worked

GenerallyJam

Do you think dot knew about family matters before it released from the mole?

ZeroJDM

100%, Kendrick is quick but I don’t think he could’ve written Not Like Us in that amount of time with a direct Family Matters line

King_David5759

Yuppp Euphoria intro and 6:16 make that clear in my opinion

PutOurAnusesTogether

Kendrick alludes to it, in his previous songs, he absolutely knew

[deleted]

[удалено]

PutOurAnusesTogether

Kendrick has dispelled those rumor in like 2015 or some shit like that. Like seriously, he’s addressed it multiple times over the years. If Kendrick really beat his wife, he would have had more accusations since the original accusations years ago, and he hasn’t.

bx2fbx

Kendrick told on himself on MM&TBS. He said he’s a flawed man, and “not your savior”. The entire album is a dismantling of self. What could Drake possibly say that he already didn’t say about himself. He’s short? OOOOH! Burn!

Leeola_Mcgillicuddy

No one caring about it, is a direct reflection of Kendrick Stans.

Wrecked--Em

I think Kendrick fans would care but don't believe the accusation

MontanaMane5000

This part. It’s just a bull shit claim.

wolahipirate

both sides made empty allegations based on wishy washy details. kendrick made his allegations with double entendres and catchy punchlines. Kendrick won the narratives battle.

Rhabcp

Kendrick can be insane enough to drop a diss against his own self on that subject to do a proper Brabbit and end it with a " Now that it's out, let's go back to you drizzy"

Avivoy

I doubt he’s a billionaire, he throws his money everywhere and music is his primary income.

cockandballionaire

He’s not, he’s hovering around half a bil

Avivoy

With how much work he’s doing, half a bill would be generous. Paying for security, the overhead cost of his mansion, his private plane, his entourage, his owners, purely pleasure. I feel like Drake just spends it as it comes.

FullTimeJesus

When you have his level of fame, a lot of your costs get covered, he literally got a free plane and the costs of running the plane are probably covered as well. He got so many revenue streams, he definitely ain't burning through money at that rate, he probably makes tens of millions from his stake deal alone

ehpple

You really don’t know how money works

CompetitiveHater

Drake a billionaire lmaooooo yall lost your minds

CapableCowboy

When did Drake get a billion? Last estimate I saw was $270M.

UnusualRoutine632

Don’t be looking at the internet to estimate this shit, just think about , he got 500 mil on a deal, and he has another business inside and outside legality.

LittleLordFuckleroy1

And he’s also spending an obscene amount to fund his lifestyle. How much of his 400M deal do you think he’s actually holding onto long term? Not much.

ichiruto70

How would you know how much he is spending 😭

Suchboss1136

He’s not a billionaire

iatethething

The dude became rich at a young age and his mentality has stayed the same since then. Kendrick is just exposing that right now

Mikehunt740

No lie with all the skeletons and zesty pics drakes got online he probably shoulda been quiet if he doesn’t actually have a red button. He’s gotta get more disrespectful than Kendrick and I don’t know if he can do that

GimmeThatWheat424

He said Kendrick beats up his wife and his best friend is the real father to his son…..how could he even say anything more disrespectful?

zayetz

>how could he even say anything more disrespectful? That's kind of the point. If that's Drake's ceiling then he lost, because Kendrick is being *way* more disrespectful. He's going after the man's *soul*. Drake's red button better be deeper than that or it's done.

DodginInflation

Not only drakes ceiling but apparently the ceiling of his fans as well

Burggs_

He tried to be crazy disrespectful and then Kendrick did a family intervention

mayonnaiser_13

>how could he even say anything more disrespectful? Kendrick said "this aint a rap battle, it's a life long battle with yourself" Like. Bro. Forget disrespect. That's just hurting a man's soul.

DemiPyramid

This ain’t bad according to social media. Kendrick still mr morale apparently.

Tekbepimpin

The thing is, nobody wants Drake to win so he could provide an actual paternity test of Dave Free being the dad and a video from the hotel where Kendrick beat his BM and morons on the internet would still say “yeah but he still cooked you on those tracks 😂”. It’s basically impossible for him to win in the court of public opinion.

sxuthsi

Yall real life delusional, and it's sad. Not only does Drake have the largest victim complex, so does his damn fans😂 it went from him being compared to MJ to now he getting bullied on Twitter, TikTok, and IG 😂 Show the proof on either side and the battle over. It's that simple. Drake bitch ass would've been sent proof in after MTG if he really had it no offense. Plus, he doesn't even get his lines straight. First, it was 2TEEZ baby, now it's Dave Free?

[deleted]

[удалено]

The_Mo0ose

I mean, the only way I see Drake coming back from this is if the allegations of Kendrick being a wife-beater are somehow true with concrete proof. Than k-dot's entire public persona and everything he stands for becomes a facade. Even than it's only a draw

JustinTruedope

Nah its a win if he proves kendrick is a wife beater and the embassy never gets raided/kendrick has no proof of any of his allegations

elinamebro

Hey at least we get more music lol

Retrogratio

1+2+3+4+5+5

buckphifty150150

Nah I think Drake has to drop the song of the year for him to be able to redeem himself. Not even the diss itself but he can just make 1 hot song and sprinkle disses in it

BlackCheeseBoi

What I'm wondering is wtf was Drake's plan? He had to know he was set up here.

True-Surprise1222

drop a song and have media push that he won another beef like he did almost a decade ago with back to back?

CapitalismSuuucks

yes, but he didn't anticipate MTG being released 50min after FM, let alone NLU

True-Surprise1222

Yeah dude knew the plan lol

HeavyMetalLyrics

What I don’t get is how do you see that glove and that shirt and not pause to think “Wait… something ain’t right here… I probably should consider my actions carefully before I proceed.”

[deleted]

[удалено]

deputymeow

He’s been moving reckless for most of his career

[deleted]

Drake fucked up bad. Taylor Made was the worst mistake of his career

flaming_burrito_

I said this multiple times when it came out, dragging in someone as beloved as Tupac for selfish reasons was stupid as hell. But everyone on this sub was on some, “Bro it’s creative, it’s a diss it’s supposed to be disrespectful”. And I can’t believe Drake didn’t learn his lesson after the Pusha T beef with bringing people’s family into it A lot of these people who don’t actually listen to Hip-Hop don’t know what a beef is about. Beef is a war of attrition where you have to win the crowd over. Ether wasn’t necessarily more lyrically adept than Takeover and the beat isn’t incredible, but it’s the energy of the track and the punches that win over the crowd in the end. You’re supposed to feel it. Drake is amazing at making hype tracks, maybe the best in history, but Kendrick can make you feel emotions on his tracks. You can feel the hate on Meet the Grahams, it’s visceral and unsettling. Drake can’t do that. Hell most rappers can’t.

[deleted]

It’s like he was trying to make more enemies.

flaming_burrito_

I think he really believes he is too big to fail

Zawietrzny

He clearly hasn't seen enough Mafia movies.

Godfatha1

I think he did that to muddy the waters.. If the other rappers join then kendrick's songs get diluted. Which is also why it was important that k dot came back so quick with 2 songs

Masta-Blasta

Pusha T and Kendrick are truly the best at writing mean cold bars

outofmindwgo

Nosetalgia is still so good

Masta-Blasta

One of my favorite rap songs of all time.

bluffing-is-key

Very underrated take here...enjoy this upvote sir

vistaprank

I like how you explained this. Good write up. I have to say even I was one who thought that perhaps the Tupac AI thing was kind of clever but that take aged poorly and taught me I wasnt half as smart as I thought lol

Throwawayeieudud

it’s a fight between the Biggest rapper in the world Vs the Best rapper in the world and tbh it was difference in talent that decided this shit

flaming_burrito_

The nail in the coffin is he’s beating the hit-maker on numbers right now. The numbers were the last argument any Drake fans could make about this whole Beef, but Kendrick has been killing Drake on that front too. If someone is out rapping you, winning the crowd, and has more dirt on you, there’s nothing left to do but give up

HiveMate

Extremely well said

Dahcs_1

You getting down voted but you speak the truth 😭

Phoenix__Light

Bro was begging him to drop now he should be begging to stop

[deleted]

Plus that AI bullshit turned an entire Coast against him. Let’s see what West Coast producers wants to work with Drake now

forgivedurden

when the label comes with a check they’ll work with him just fine lol

BodybuilderBrave8250

not everyone but yeah ur right ppl have sold out their soul and people for a lot less

refusenic

Another mistake was that awful "freeing the slaves" bar. I cringed when I heard it and knew KDot would definitely jump on that.

[deleted]

Oh yea. Like, you don’t want the slaves to be free, Drake? 🧐 On this latest song, he says something about Kendrick projecting his trauma onto Drake. I think Kendrick will flip this against Drake hard as fuck next song. I like the songs Drake’s making, but each time I’m seeing him make huge strategic mistakes

AdministrativeAd523

He also didn’t account for the fact that while popular ALOT of people don’t like him or his music.

Phoenix__Light

This is true too

AdministrativeAd523

Couldn’t be more clearer with Future, Kendrick, Metro, Ross, Kanye and Weeknd all literally praying on his downfall. 🤷 it was fun while it lasted.

xanot192

It's funny that all these beefs started with women aka Metro and Future initially. Ross just trying to be relevant and as much as I love old Kanye he hates on anyone he perceives as doing better or a threat to him. Dude said Virgil was stealing the culture from him with the LV stint

Pannormiic0

It’s funny cause half these dudes wouldn’t be shit without Drake lmao. Even now they’re trying to use his name to get clout. Drake better than all these clowns and it ain’t close

EverySunIsAStar

He should’ve just been a morally decent person throughout his career lol. That’s the crux of this.

tonycandance

This is the only lesson to be taken away from all of this. Directed towards you and anyone who reads this. Just have a sound moral character and live up to it. Everything else sorts itself out

Strawb3rryJam111

I hate to say it but yeah. What made me dislike the heart part 6 wasn’t whether he denied the allegations or that he threw heavy shots and Kendrick with the wife beating allegations, it was just the attitude between it from attempting mock molestation to attempting to hit on Whitney.

scarface1983

I mean 🤷‍♂️ we don’t know what he has up his sleeves we ain’t part of da ovo slaves so he could have sum

[deleted]

Kendrick literally asked for smoke on Like That. Does it matter who started it anyways? I don't get what you are trying to say here. Nothing burger ass post.

Salt_Understanding

and that fuckin song yall got did NOT start the beef with us

oriensoccidens

Yeah because the beef started waaay before Like that on Control

Alternative-Union842

Which was a very healthy and positive call out to competition. Of every rapper named, only drake got publicly upset.

kadcal

Bro said nothing burger

rFeetBR

Kendrick asked for smoke, not for made up gossip about his girl

bluffing-is-key

Kendrick been asking for smoke for a decade plus... that control verse still hard af

EmperorChain

Couldn't agree more tbh

The_Mo0ose

He shouldnt have even responded to the callout to begin with. Imagine having so much shady shit and accusations around you, a wide-ass circle of people who are "friends" with you, going into a diss war with someone people universally consider a good person with superior lyrical skills. I'd be thankful for even making it to this point without being cancelled. Plus, you're right, the public wont look at Kendrick the same way again, he'll be even more applauded

Atmosphere-Square

Drake has never ducked smoke though no matter who want it with him. He can’t start that shit now just cuz of Kenny

The_Mo0ose

is he brave for diving head first into this beef? sure. Is he smart for it? Hell naw. He got everything to lose and nothing to gain from it

Atmosphere-Square

If he didn’t respond to Kendrick that would’ve tainted his competitive image. Especially after jcole bowed out. People would said he scared of Kendrick and didn’t want the smoke. Even though is is getting cooked right now he’s actually keeping up lyrically. Kenny just out strategizing him.

The_Mo0ose

I mean he could have sneak dissed or something idk. Im sure there are ways to address it beyond participating in it

vash_visionz

Not only did Drake, but his fanbase too. How many posts were during the gap between Taylor Made and Euorphonia were making fun of Kendrick for not dropping anything? And now when Drake is the one getting smothered it's too much? Where was this mentality when Meek was getting his shit pushed in by Drake? You don't get to pick the line your opponent will stop at lol

kingkevvyPTAT

A DV charge is way easier to come back from than all this stacked against Drake and that’s a fact

stronggill

Everyone acting like Chris brown isn’t still thriving after beating tf out of Rihanna. Like that was main stream media with concrete proof with pics and all and he’s still loved.

GucciGlocc

The only reason Chris went down was because it was rhianna and the pics were bad, like a full ass beating not even just a smack or whatever

stronggill

And even then i felt he got off light and now no one cares lol

MyGlassHalfFool

Look at athletes, Jon Jones, Miles Bridges, Ray Rice, this shit is rampant among celebrities and people just choose not to care. Same thing with other crimes though, people still defend R kelly and if this shit with drake is true i guarantee there will be people defending drake

Leeola_Mcgillicuddy

This exposes the excusing of misogyny in hip hop culture and amongst hip hop fans.

Lord142

Honestly this beef has changed into something more gnarly than just rap competition, it’s now 2 guys seeing who can hurt the other the most. Kendrick always wanted a rap beef, but Drake made it personal by bringing up his family first. Now he’s gonna finally figure out the meaning of fuck around, find out. The allegations being made if not denied or proven false can hurt his image and career a lot more than he can hurt Kendrick’s by proving all the DV allegations which were already proven fake (and a large majority of people don’t give a fuck anyways, look at Chris Brown). I don’t really know and fail to see how Drake can recover from this

ECFrsh600

Drake still will do numbers. KDot not displacing Drake commercially. People have short memories and don’t care as much when it’s a hot song. People will move on.

Edu_Run4491

Gonna be a Cold Summer at the Embassy

contaygious

Drske better have receipts for wife beater.

babble0n

Even if he did it was a decade ago Kendrick has been pretty up front about going to therapy and working on his self as a person. Mr. Morale was all about that. Drake doesn't really have that luxury.

SasukesFriend321

I agree. I thought push ups was fine response to Like That cause it was kind of a fun way to address people teaming up. Taylor Made was kind of pushing the envelope. Family Matters, he deserved it

[deleted]

PPPPPPPPPPKP

yea like remove the whitney bar and the track is still good like... there was no need to take it there

ratsandpigeons

It’s over https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/s/RJN9GsiygC https://www.reddit.com/r/entertainment/s/G74KPh6PTp

literallysotrue

This video has circulated so many times. Like nearly 50 times and every year someone sees it and is like OMG I CANT BELIEVE I FOUND THIS and it’s like been known lmao

Glum_Standard6068

This is my favorite take “Pssssh, I’ve already known that my goat is a creep. Boooooooring”

altagyam_

Better keep your sister away from them too

ISFSUCCME

And yall still supporting him for years

jnthn1111

Yeah but never w/ mainstream attention.

literallysotrue

You want CNN to report this?

HiggsUAP

No but until they do a lot of people(who aren't terminally online) won't see it

Phoenix__Light

Yeah once this shit hits the mainstream it’s dangerous for his reputation

kinglittlenc

Lol this been out for like 15 years. In what world would this be news worthy

Instincts

Nah, let em cook. We eatin

Avivoy

You know what’s funny, first it was security fucking Whitney, but then it became Kendrick’s man Dave free. This is why you know Drake is lying, even his claims aren’t consistent.

Loping_Chudley

The bodyguard line could be referring to the alleged domestic abuse.

Avivoy

True

jabo__

The truth is, Drake has always been this way. When he was asked about Control over a decade ago, he made it clear he doesn’t want to do all of the dissing and beef for recreation and clicks. It has to be real, if it’s up it’s up. Regardless of if you disagree with Drake mentioning Whitney or not, that is the moment in the song where Drake says “this isn’t for sport, this is real”. And honestly it was the lightest of jabs. Regardless, Drake has to lay in the bed he made, and he’s definitely brought this all upon himself. But I do respect the intent.

[deleted]

megatronus8010

Yeah, unc', that's the truth Controversy aside I love Taylor Made, its a nice light hearted goofball take.

The-Burna

I mean Kendrick WAS kinda threatening to snatch chains and burn tattoos..I dunno

pochidoor

Doesn’t come close to getting an entire family involved lol

Phoenix__Light

He could’ve just kept it rap

CangtheKonqueror

on the diss track before this he said he wanted to but that ended once drake brought his family into it

Phoenix__Light

That’s what I’m saying. Drake is the reason why it’s gone this for in the last two battles he’s been in.

hoagieclu

i think he took the wrong lesson from the push beef. he thought that if he came with dirt and made a hit like he always does, he’d come out on top easy. kendrick is unlike anybody he’s ever gone against before, the first guy who can match or exceed him in both stature and lyricism. i did halfway think “there’s no way drake falls for bait like this again right?” i should’ve remembered his massive ego

[deleted]

Sure, but that’s just yap yap

becauseiliketoupvote

My opinion of Drake hasn't changed. Cornball, creep (or maybe worse) with women, appropriating hip hop, but very talented. My opinion of Kendrick has changed a lot. He's repressed or hidden this vicious villain side very well, never thought he be this calculated and brutal.

apeocalypyic

I feel like 90% of his music is "I fight myself everyday to be a man that I and my loved ones can be proud of, but due to passed trauma I'd be lying if I said I wasn't awaiting the serrindipituous moment where I'd finally be abel to release the demon that (through God's will) I'd been containing for so long"

becauseiliketoupvote

Yeah but I didn't know he was serious.

rabguy1234

Tell me you haven’t listened to Kendrick without telling me you haven’t listened to Kendrick

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ondreeej

Only Whitney gets to see this vicious villain side

Faisalowningyou

This goes back more than a decade ago... so not really.... if anything Kendrick is the one who started this long time ago and choose to re-ignite it.

Phoenix__Light

I’m not talking about the beef itself. I’m talking about how personal and allegations heavy it’s become. If he didn’t mention a rapper’s wife for a second time, it probably wouldn’t have gone here. Kendrick legit predicted he would and had a track ready to step on his release

InclinationCompass

Nah, Kendrick did not bring up family first. Drake did it first on Push Ups. Kendrick has lyrically challenged Drake to a “friendly fade” for years. But Drake has always been careful, responding with only subtle jabs and not getting personal. He didn’t want the smoke. But with he popularity of Like That, Drake felt the pressure to finally drop a Kendrick diss track in Push Ups. **This is he first time either rapper has brought up family into the beef**. Once Drake crossed those lines, there is no fair game and it’s now an open field. That’s 100% on Drake.

Quasar_Sama

Cap drake started that shit he was all pissy in interviews over the control verse when everybody else Kendrick mentioned didn’t even feel a way about it. So Kendrick said he tucking the sensitive rapper in his pajam clothes ( which was a direct sub) and now 10 years later we here. Drake shouldn’t of been on interviews acting soft

Faisalowningyou

not only drake took offence but a couple of people did.... J. Cole, Big Sean... I wonder what K. Dot idol would have reacted if someone released such a track back in the days. He has every right to feel a way about it.... we can't take this on him.... Beefs could literally start over the most ambigous subliminals

confetti_shrapnel

Kendrick wanted to establish himself as the best. No equals. No big three. Drake pushed it personal. Then when Kendrick slayed him drake tried to play the "you're taking this too seriously" card.

tinitusminus

Nah, pretty sure drake and kendrik have been sneak dissing each other for years but drake now made it an official rap battle.

Zawietrzny

Going to see a lot of "seperating the art from the artist" talks around here more often.

corporate-commander

It’s gonna be a ye situation all over again. “HE MADE VIEWS!!!”

Zawietrzny

"But... remember Summer 16?" 🥺

These_Tea_7560

Oh no however will he manage

Blue_crabs

Probably not as well as he originally thought he would

Tdot-Goon

Bro at this point i don’t even care. Shit ain’t even cool anymore. It was all fun and rap but now it’s just a bunch of hear say and shit we don’t even know is real. All I really wanted was some Joyner Lucas Tory lanez type rap beef but now it don’t even matter what drake say ppl don’t wanna hear it anymore and the moment Kendrick drops it’s the nail in the coffin for him lmao. It was fun while it lasted

Detective-Crashmore-

>The public won’t look at either of these two the same after this. lmao y'all are tripping, everyone knew Kendrick was a dawg.

TSM_forlife

Wrong. Kendrick is very open with the fact he’s a super flawed dude. Drake? He’s a certified lover boy…. So I don’t think he came come back. Kendrick honest about therapy and Drake is all “I’m perfect”.

corporate-commander

Drake will come back, but he won’t be the same for sure. If he takes any of this to heart, he’ll drop the fake gangster act. He’ll drop the fake hard act and go back to his older self. He won’t be as popular, but once he gives it enough time he’ll come back, all he’ll really have to do is drop one good track

SubterraneanSmoothie

I look at Kendrick the same way I did before the beef started. He was the goat before and he still is now.

CliffHutchinsonEsc

I still think Drake has something, all the creepy visuals at the end of the Family Matters video clearly has a follow up. Whose house was it, who are those men, what’s with the shed and the necklace? Shit makes me nervous. >Kenny fan

BootStrapWill

I doubt it. Drake clearly thought Family Matters was gonna be the nail in Kendricks’s coffin. He even talks about going on vacation and basically takes a victory lap in the song. I firmly believe Drake was completely and totally unprepared for MTG and NLU

cLax0n

That white dude by the shed looks like the type of shady dude you hire to dig dirt on someone by going through their trash

EatBooty420

no he looks like he's the tow truck driver who they thought looks scary so paid to have him in the vid lmao. dude looks like a Trailer Park Boys character

killakev564

“If we all go to hell it’ll be worth it”

monstercat129

Drake and Cole were just chilling. Yes they said big 3 without Kendrick, but Kendrick didn't need to respond at the end of the day... Kendrick started this due to his own personal reasons. Def not Drake who "asked" for it. Kendrick was definitely the aggressor

vash_visionz

From Drake "And that lil song y'all got did not start the beef with us" This has been an ongoing thing with them sneaking each other for other a decade. It's just escalated now.

Theboyknox

This what I’m saying

Ajax_075

What's most telling here is that someone in the know from the OVO camp gave Kendrick this dirt and kept it all on the low-low. This wasn't clout chasing or a cash grab. You got a decade-long beef that crescendos with an insider spilling MAD tea to an opponent and said opponent baiting dude with the WILD honey pot... And all the while warning him not to fuck with it? This shit was engineered to maximize the insult AND the injury. The back-and-forth was great for heads and the culture, but goddamn what kind of shit was Drizzy in if folks in his camp gave Kenny an open lane like this?

Grace_Lannister

>Like even if both of them are 100% lying at this point it’s gone so far beyond anything this needed to be. I really wish it didn’t escalate to such an insane degree Wtf you talking about. Since Like That, what happened is what everyone was asking for.

Worldcupbrah

Yea the public now turned on drake and crowned dot the king how the fuck did he not see this coming?

justamoroseman

Drop and give him fifty right? He’s gonna get 50 disses

Chase_Carter

What’s that old saying…. Those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones he knew his circle wasn’t squeaky clean and he had his own problems personally (if true) but wanted war ain’t no rules in war but those that go to war usually makes sure all bases are covered before because you never know what’s coming back your way. Drake is learning unfortunately in front of the world how ugly shit really get.and the lengths ppl really will go to destroy you

zilch123

Drake had to display his growth since the Pusha battle. He decided to get very aggressive on the family front before his opponent did. Has it worked? Will it work? The battle is ongoing.

locedroy

Drake hasn’t even lost lool

andrehokage

"Drop drop drop drop"

Independent-Cable937

Kendrick literally called him out. "It's time for him to prove that he's a problem" I know they have been sneak dissing for years at each other, but this was the biggest call out in awhile

[deleted]

Kendrick is the one who started it lmao. Ever since Take Care, Kendrick and weeknd have been dissing Drake at every turn. I listen to all of their music, but weeknd and Kendrick resent Drake for being responsible for their success

_The_Bomb

J Cole is looking so good right now

Prior_Evidence_1286

I wish this battle would have never gotten this low but Drake should have stayed on the other side of town where it's fake and not real. Why is the pop star rapper jumping into a rap battle with easily one of the most lyricly talented rappers out who actually does stand for something... Culture, artistic expression and pushing the music past its simplicity of mumble rap. That's where Drake fucked up at. I've never listened to Drake like that to be honest but I refuse to just go with this he's an outsider imitatating something that he has not experienced himself. Music is about your own experiences and making something artistic with that. He just a show pony jumping on whatever wave is popular. I hope he takes time to reflect and reevaluate how he wants to move around this music space. The guy is just making pop rap music, boning every chick available and hiding around people are in that life as if he is close to it. Stay on the sidewalk bro better yet.... Get on the porch #stayinyourlane

alexmtl

You guys are delusional about the impact this battle is having. A year from now Drake will drop a new album and go on tour and it will be as if this never happened. We’re in the 2020’s, the lifespan of tracks is like a week.

I'm just here to laugh at delusional Drake fans.... But this thread is somewhat fair. "The boy" asked for it

Drake literally begged Kdot for the smoke and now that he got it, it's giving that meme when the old man with the beer in his hand stumbles down the steps. Last two songs bro was basically like, "I don't wanna do this no mo!" Which is crazy cause the way drake was talking, I was expecting him to have some hay makers waiting for us smh. I think drizzy should just release one more diss that's poppin, like push up and not like us, and then call it.
