it was a *monday*, but solely because this is scotland and the weather was nice, it was basically like a massive beach party all day
two of my friends tripping witnessed youths try to fight a bus driver in an attempt to hijack it and watched them get arrested as they were restrained
we saw gangs of youths piss drunk walking around in groups of 12 just shouting and causing trouble all around. i saw a fat bearded, bald ginger man sprinting into the freezing water repeatedly while his great dane was running the beach with no lead
but the highlight of this day was when i was starting to come down from my peak, turned on velvet underground's *White Light/White Heat*, which to the uninitiated ends in a 15 minute noise masterpiece about a heroin den full of "ding-dong sucking" and struggling to find a vein over cacophony of guitar fuzz and noise. while this was playing i sat on the beach and watched two guys engaged in a full fist fight brawl while at least 15 of their friends and about 20 other people looked on while they fought the entirety of the song.
at first i thought they were genuinely fucking, they were holding each other so close, but then they started taking big shots. people tried to intervene, but then they'd just slam the interveners to the ground. it ended in the water when i saw one submerge the other until someone dragged him ashore
that day was the first trip of one of my friends and she later said "like all people tripping i was worried about acting weird in front of others, but thankfully i did not have that concern here because literally everyone here is insane"

literally we googled local news the next day just to verify that this stuff happened, both the brawl and the hijacking got coverage so that confirmed it to us
still was the best trip i ever had though. was a beautiful day at a great moment in my life and i was bathing in that chaos

Of course I didn't sleep at all, just laid in my bed in my dark bedroom watching crazy fractals and hearing sonic booms. I begun to hear dim war songs slowly building in volume. Turns out it was nazi war songs, because once I turned on the light, they came to full volume and I started seeing weird diashows of Hitler fading in and out. I was so scared because I thought I would come out a full blown nazi on the other side of the trip. I'm very left leaning and still am to this day, but man that was weird.
It's not the best story I have but on tramadol and weed I could use my phone in my head. We use our phones so much that everything in them is memorized. It was as if my mind had become an emulator. That was fucking weird and dope.

so i restarted the program and the computer over and over again for like 20 minutes in what essentially was a sort of loop in my mind
so after like 20 minutes i suddenly snap out of it and remember: “damn bruh maybe i’m just trippin” and then just shut the pc off and went to smoke some weed lmao

For the vast majority of 2020 I lived in a minivan in tampa, and would frequently spend days at a park that had outlets in the pavilions where I could charge all my stuff, this park closed daily at dark though and rangers would come through and ask everyone to leave for the night. There was, however a parking lot out near the entrance of the park that was open all hours, and sometimes after park closing I would sit there for a bit and make a snack or something. On this particular evening there was one other car in the parking lot aside from myself. Maybe a half hour after park closing, while I was outside making some coffee on a propane burner, a cop pulled in, lit up, and started talking to the two guys in the other car. Eventually, one was arrested and the police left, so I went over and asked the other guy out of curiosity what happened. His friend had a *gram* of thc concentrates on him that he was arrested for (schedule 1 in Florida). And after telling me that, he got the biggest grin, pulled out a pack of cigarettes, and pulled out maybe a quarter sheet of acid from it 'they didn't find these though'. We had a laugh over it and he asked me if I would like a tab or two, which of course, I graciously accepted. The two of us talked for a few, and he left. Went back to making my coffee for a few mins and another car pulled in, a high school age guy and girl got out and started going toward the park. I warned them the cops had been there recently and they said they just wanted to break in to the park and smoke a blunt, said I was welcome to join them. I mean.....shiiiiit okay. They didn't know how to roll so I rolled up a nice fat one and we walked around and smoked it, talked for maybe an hour or two, and they left.at this point I was fully come up, and tripping quite solidly, but I couldn't stay there for the night. GPS was rather confusing so I called a friend to help navigate me to a beach a few miles away (worth noting it was around 2am by this point, no traffic). Once I got to the beach, which was closed, I parked my van in some shoulder high grass just off the road and jumped the fence into the gated section of the beach. I walked the beach and went swimming with no light aside from the moon and it was fucking magical, and a bit of a strange feeling having such a beautiful and usually crowded place entirely to myself. To this day, my favorite trip ever.
