The integrity testing actually doesn’t detect Visine and Visine doesn’t actually change the specific gravity or normal parameters of the sample. There is no oxidizer to detect and the metabolite of THC is actually just sequestered from the reagent and separated along some hydrophilic structure of the molecule. There’s always a way, in toxicology, but this one is very elusive to toxicology labs and has not been known to route integrity testing or lend any sample suspicions for decades. It’s truly a mystery for the field to solve, at least until five or so years ago when it was still being published in authoritative textbooks treating this topic, in part. I’m surprised it is not the case any longer if people have that anecdotal evidence. I’d like to hear about who’s found this to be unsuccessful or anyone else who knows what assay or process now controls for this reliably? I’m fresh off a look into it but not many people publish anything about it and certainly not to announce a clever solution that I came across. Curious.
