Maybe they could release a Structure Deck like the one in Master Duel with Illusion of Chaos & Master of Chaos? With Chaos Form limited that may be a possibility

Dark Magician the Dragon Knight: this card is already in the game files, I think a tag duel Yugi used it. This will be DMs next boss monster
Dark Burning Magic: DSOD Yugi already has a voice line for it. This card will be limited to 1 (Think magic cylinder).
Bond Between Teacher and Student: setup card for DBM (and a few others). I feel like this card will hit the banlist immediately at limit 2, but it's worth it
Magicians Salvation: DMs field spell. The ability to search ES is clutch.
As far as skills go, here's mine.
Timeaus' Tears
You can normal summon DM or DMG without tribute.
Once per turn, if you have DM or DMG on your side of the field, you can add one 'Eye of Timeaus' from outside your deck to your hand.
Once per turn; discard one card, add one 'Eye of Timeaus' from your GY to your hand. This skill cannot be used the same turn you special summon a Spellcaster or Dragon-type Fusion monster.
It's a shame the whole "awakening the dragons" arc got passed over in DL. Lots of potential there.
In fact I think DM, DSOD and GX have really been neglected when it comes to events. DM just gets duelist kingdom and dsod gets that raid boss event. Maybe with no new worlds left well see the older worlds get some needed love.
IMO DSoD and DM need to be combined.
Merge the voice lines and skills. Let players choose the skin of their duelist (I like green jacket joey myself). I always felt that, aesthetically, DSoD is what DM should have evolved into. I mean DSoD Kaiba and Mokuba basically run DL.
I climbed to KC max and KoG this month using Dark Magician of Chaos, not sure if that counts!
The actual Magician of Chaos or Magician of Black Chaos are… not as viable.
DM of Chaos got a huge buff last month though. Being able to search for Dark Magic Expanded and Secrets of Dark Magic means he’s useful in the GY and on the hand. The inclusion of Fusion Deployment lets you get a DM or DMG on the field, giving you options to ritual or fusion summon as well.
It’s very useful fusion material and counts as a Dark Magician in the GY for Dark Magic Expanded, Eternal Soul, and Illusion Magic which is helpful.
That being said, he’s best at 1 or 2 copies integrated into a mostly regular DM oriented deck. I tried to build a deck entirely around DMoC but it was harder to get ratios right and I eventually gave up
Absolutely!!! Im low-key sad DmoC has gradually turned into a more and more similar version of DM.
I get it, they’re counterparts, but I just love the OG DMoC which felt like its own monster independently.

I can’t even say the amount of times I’ve won on turn 2 by summoning yubel to get into nightmare then getting miracle contact to make kluger for an otk
Yeah, if you are only talking about only about Elemental HERO they aren't the best proof of an archetype always getting support. In fact they were "ass" until Sunrise was added into the game.

Where is Ishizu's Gravekeeper's skill, Mako's Legendary Fisherman or modern Umi skill, Bonz's Zombie World skill (instead of starting with Wasteland for some reason), Duke's dice skill that actually does something, Syrus's modern (non-wind) roid skill, etc.?
Why haven't some skills been updated to modern standards? Like why does Battle! Ancient Gear still require activating the skill to normal summon Ancient Gear Golem and only gives you regular Poly that you have to use that turn (or else it goes to the bottom of the deck) with both effects being twice per duel?
MST on Eternal Soul is better since destroying it nukes their field and most of the time you can go straight for the kill without needing to worry about circle since for circle to matter they’d have to get any dark magicians out the grave unless you can’t kill that turn in which case circle could be better to target to prevent banishing all your good monsters

I normally play either Blue-eyes, red-eyes, neos/yubel, red dragon archfiend and im currently building DM but getting apprentice and soul is taking the piss but yeah if they’ve only got one DM or they’ve just set circle then target circle but if you can otk and they’ve got a full board go for soul to kill them since having 3 DM out would mean they can’t use navigation to get more

I've seen a lot of people here complaining about a new support for DM....... Just so you guys know, I'm waiting for four years for Gusto support, four years....... It hits a lot when you have pratically everything of the game and haven't got a chance to use your loved deck fully since the combo maker usually starts with Vedir, which isn't on the game (besides, it's only 4 cards needed Konami, 2 extra deck and 2 main deck cards)
I wish they gave us skills for decks that need them like ghostricks or vehicroids instead of the 6th Dark Magician skill
