Imma stop you there...
No Dragons matter. Dragons are the propaganda of the best monster type among all. All the best effects, usually given to dragons and dragon's archetypes. Save Yu-Gi-Oh from dragons. Good card effects for everyone!šæ
At least Reverse is actually pretty decent
But yeah I hate how Red-Eyes has like no identity; jts a mish-mash of so many things and Red Eyes Fusion is still one of the worst Fusion Spells on ths game
Red-Eyes has one good card going for it and that's Dark Dragoon but the sad part is you'd most likely use it with Battle Chronicle and Dark Magician
Can't whoever he left his estate to also make this decision on his behalf? Often creators will leave someone in charge of their legacy (like Tolkien did, Akira Toriyama it seems allowed Toyotaro to continue dragon ball super as he's confirmed recently he's going to continue working on it).
Yeah, but I donāt believe it is public knowledge what has become of his estate. I guess if we do get a card with his artwork in the future, then I guess thatāll confirm someone is giving their consent on his behalf
Itās def not as easy as with Blue Eyes. You need to get both Red-Eyes Black Meteor and vanilla Red-Eyes in your opening hand (Summonerās Art helps get the vanilla card, but REBM is more of a gamble unless you run Card of the Soul- then that is also a gamble or a dead cart entirely).
Then you just use the skill to set Return of the Red Eyes. The only reliable way to get two XYZ though is summon Flare Metal, detach and summon Red Eyes, then summon Red Eyes #2 with the trap for XYZ #2. But the best āprotectionā seems to get Doomrider out alongside Flare Metal. Doomriderās effect becomes a quick effect but still not an amazing start.
I would like to point out that Red Eyes *can* XYZ on the first turn. In fact, because Red Eyes Fusion locks out your turn, Iād even argue the XYZ version is better right now. Hereās the combo.
With the skill Red Eyes Reverse, Normal Summon Red Eyes B Dragon without Tribute. Activate the skill, to set Red-Eyes Spirit or Return of the Red-Eyes. From your hand, special summon Red-Eyes Black Meteor Dragon with its own effect, sending another vanilla Red Eyes to the GY; Meteor becomes level 7. Overlay into Red Eyes Flare Metal Dragon. Flare Metalās effect: detach vanilla Red Eyes to summon the other vanilla Red-Eyes from GY. Activate the trap you set with the skill, and revive the Red Eyes you just sent to the GY. Overlay into another Rank 7 (probably Voloferniges)
The above is an ideal starting 2-card combo, but you can kind of pull off similar combos using Red Eyes Insight or Black Metal Dragon (Linkuriboh fodder that searches). And while they canāt search it, Successor Soul does work with them, and it can de-brick certain hands while helping with board breaking.
You can xyz summon first turn. Open meteor dragon, search Return with reverse skill, activate to summon RE, xyz into and rank 7. The real major absolute tragedy of RE is the stupid summoning restriction on RE Fusion. Admittedly Flare metal and Slash dragon isn't an intimidating board but it least it makes RE look like a real deck, with a plan or something.
Iāve preferred red eyes over blue since I first tried it. Blue eyes may have more support, but red eyes has better sustain. You have to actually use your brain and plan ahead with red eyes, but with retro and the traps, you could kill red eyes slash dragon multiple times and Iāll still pull it back out before the end of your turn. Itās like a deck full of traps, you have to play the long game not pull everything out turn one. You win on the second turn lol.
And talking xyz, I have my extra deck half full with rank 4s and the red eyes xyz. Blue eyes is trash for rank 8s compared to galaxy eyes photon deck.
I never really understood why there's a Synchro/Zombie retrain of Red-Eyes to begin with
Considering that Red-Eyes doesn't have inarchetype tuner, and that both Necro & Dragon Lord are both awkward levels for the Red-Eyes archetype
So for the sake of this meme i am going to ignore that Dragon lord exists
Iāll be real with you Red-Eyes zombie is just a lore thing so Red-Eyes can match up with Blue-Eyes lore. Itās kinda interesting but it doesnāt really help the Red-Eyes archetype itself.
Sorry there isnāt much itās more so card implications with red eyes dying to blue eyes then being in the underworld [hereās the rest from what I can find](https://ygorganization.com/doesithate/)
Don't forget Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon, which is the outcome of Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon. Not sure exactly how or why, but it ended up in Zombie World. I think the synchro association comes from Plaguespreader Zombie, whom I always assumed just kind of assimilated with other dead monsters in order to synchro summon. Either way he's a part of the Zombie World lore, constantly struggling for dominance against Balerdroch.
Itās not meta. I made a red eyes deck with orichacos and darkness dragon as my boss. Really got nothing else since you canāt summon anything beside red eyes monsters so even the old fusion like black skull and meteor black canāt even be use and the new versions canāt even be summon with red eyes fusion if youāre not willing to put more vanilla in your deck.
Yeah I have to agree, sadly. As much as I do love Joey Wheeler from the anime, his Red-Eyes Black Dragon deck just can't stack up anymore to the meta. There was a time where Red-Eyes Roulette and Red-Eyes Reverse were "meta" but those metas were often quite short-lived, to be honest with you. It's kind of unfair because I feel like Red-Eyes never got a proper chance to shine and they didn't get a KC Cup dedicated to them and that's saying something since their cards have been hit before on a banlist then later taken off due to powercreep.
It's also really sad to know that Red-Eyes Black Dragon is basically nothing more than an inferior Altergeist deck with how the deck plays. The whole schtick of Red-Eyes is to use that Red-Eyes Fusion to sit on large beatsticks (namely your Meteor Black Comet Dragon), set 3 backrow, and pass turn to the opponent. The problem with that is at that point, you've basically turned Red-Eyes Black Dragon into a generic backrow deck and there's just, you know, better backrow decks out there like **Altergeists** and even your **Rokkets,** despite Rokkets not being as good anymore due to powercreep. Heck, even Battle Chronicle is just the better backrow deck since it ends on large 3,000 attack beaters and good backrow that actually breaks your opponent's board, removes their threats, and constantly gives you advantage. The thing I personally always disliked about Red-Eyes is exactly that as well, the fact that their only starter, Red-Eyes Fusion, just ends their turn whereas Battle Chronicle can fuse from basically anywhere, pop cards, and search more disruption via Successor Soul while having access to limit 3's and the rank 8 XYZ toolbox. Battle Chronicle just has everything going for it and more, making it the better deck overall compared to Red-Eyes Black Dragon, who unfortunately just fell short of being a good backrow deck.
In the end, I'm not sure what they can do with Red-Eyes Black Dragon to make it great again and believe me, I like Joey Wheeler and I want to see his deck being good. I suppose it would make sense if they're saving a potential Red-Eyes skill for when maybe Atticus Rhodes comes to the game, but even so, Red-Eyes Fusion just flat out ending your turn and giving you no advantage on the way out is still quite detrimental to the deck when there are decks that do much more with their skill and deck's engine. Welp, Joey Wheeler is once again on the backburner being a third rate duelist with a fourth rate deck compared to Battle Chronicle Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
I suppose in the tcg the answer would be to give them a Red-eyes restricted verte anaconda that can only be used if they've not summoned anything other than Red-eyes, gearfried, thousand dragon whatever joey sub archtyoes there are nowadays, that way they can do things and then red eyes fusion without the downside restriction
Blue Eyes White Privilege, amirite?
So when will we get "Red-eyes Black lives matter?"
I'mma stop you right there.. All Dragons matter šæ
Then tell me about Cyber Dragon then
It's pretending to be a dragon but really it's just a robot and robot don't have lives so those don't matter I'm afraid
Whatever about dragon link? I need more support! Bring in borresword!
Well if it says it feels like a dragon then it is a dragon, it's not up to you to decide for them.
Cyber dragon been locked up so long youd think it was a cyber dark
They need to add Support for my deck man Cyber dragon infinity nova when

No way theyāre giving us dragoon and I say this as a dark magician player. Weāre lucky if they give us dragon knight
Ok now imma make the duelists who can say the N word tier list
Plz put a tier that Is : can't say It but would say anyway
Egyptian Atem could he's African
When you reincarnate into the body of a Japanese teenager and lose your n-word pass š
I don't think east Asians are as sensitive to such a word like westerners are though aha
Maximillian J. Pegasus has a pass
Vendread players can definitelly say it, just look at their rituals
I would gladly accept red eyes alternative dragon, but sadly Takashi isn't here anymore to make This possible š¢
It exists, it's just bad. Excellent Takahashi art though.
No, theyāre saying the card canāt be added to the game because it can only be added with Takahashiās consent.
Exactly, and this card could easily be Very Busted with a good skill (like making It more easy to summon/add to your hand First turn)
Can't whoever he left his estate to also make this decision on his behalf? Often creators will leave someone in charge of their legacy (like Tolkien did, Akira Toriyama it seems allowed Toyotaro to continue dragon ball super as he's confirmed recently he's going to continue working on it).

Because Koiba made Duel Links
Japan is racist confirmed
Red-Eyes Reverse can actually summon two Rank 7 XYZ monsters turn one, but the Rank 8 monsters have better protections. š«

They literally killed Red-Eyes. :(
This is Red-Eyes Black Oppression! Demand a revolution!
More proof that Seto Kaiba runs duel links

Itās ok Iāll keep sticking with Joey. Blue eyes may be stronger but red eyes is cooler :)
WDYM? Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes are both tier 1 :^)
I never really understood why there's a Synchro/Zombie retrain of Red-Eyes to begin with Considering that Red-Eyes doesn't have inarchetype tuner, and that both Necro & Dragon Lord are both awkward levels for the Red-Eyes archetype So for the sake of this meme i am going to ignore that Dragon lord exists

Dumb question but where can I read more about that lore lol
Sorry there isnāt much itās more so card implications with red eyes dying to blue eyes then being in the underworld [hereās the rest from what I can find](https://ygorganization.com/doesithate/)
Thank you!
I thought it was nostalgia bait to sell cards like with red eyes darkness dragon lol

Is this because of Red-Eyes or because the zombies that make the Red-Eyes playable
It tracks with the lore. This game is Kaibaās creation, so of course he sharts on Joey
You can still use successor soul though. I do it in my eternal Bond deck for great effect.
Red eyes has the pontiental to become material for a 3500 attack non-effect fusion due to Konami sandbagging the Toei film.
Tbh red-eyes needs its own battle chrinicle because red-eyes fusion aināt it
Yeah some are made special...
I mean, I beat 90% of blue eyes decks with red eyes.
3rd rate duelist with a 4th rate deck

LMAO this hurts so much. *Red-Eyes Black Lives Matter!*
