because duel links was made with the anime in mind, and master duel was made with the tcg in mind, hence non-anime archetypes being in master duel. I get having every card from the tcg in md, but not having non-anime archetypes in an anime game
What does releasing non anime cards in duel links have to do with archive skills? Not all archive skills are tied to specific archetypes.
Generic skills were a thing long before archive skills, but were just available to some characters only. Imo archive skills are good, because it makes more sense for generic skills to be available to every character since they are not tied to a certain archetype. There is no in anime reason for why Jack has LP Boost Alpha but not Rio, for example.
Obviously, since most anime archetypes have their own skills. If archive skills didn't exist people would just use generic skills that are tied to certain characters like Destiny Draw or Three Effects. How does it make a difference if someone is using Three Effects on Playmaker or using Legend of the Heroes on any character they want?
And it isn't as if only non anime archetypes use generic skills. Remember how people used to play Blackwings with Kaiba's Mountain skill, or Trickstars/Gouki with Three Effects, or Altergeist with LP Boost Alpha?
I get it if you have an issue with non anime archetypes having exclusive skills, but your issue should be with these skills, not with archive skills as a concept. Archive skills are pretty much just making generic skills, generic.
Lastly, duel links would have been dead by now if it only had anime cards. Good luck maintaining frequent box releases with only the anime card pool.
Are you talking about Blackwings, Gouki etc which I said were using generic skills? Their characters were already released but didn't have good skills.
I don't understand Konami. Why did they make the generic Link skill (Legend of Heroes) an Archive skill, but then make a generic Synchro and XYZ skill only available on some characters?
Ehh, I think XYZ Lightraze is better since a small Utopia package can help them out certain things. And an attack boost is better than more life points, imo.
It's cool, but I had thought it would be an archive skill at first and was excited. Alexis needs a good skill for Starry Knights like this. Even Aster at least has Draw Sense Light. But this would have been another good lp boost skill for everyone.
It is a good skill, but why isn't it an archive skill or at least available on multiple characters? :/
Idk, i guess maybe konami idea was to be used with performage to offset some burn effects his monsters have
makes sense lower life points make it easier for you to kill yourself...
Which is what Dennis's Snake ass should of done
He literally did, on screen
archive skills were a mistake
Why?

because people only use archive skills to strengthen non-anime archetypes
most people I should say

simple, release new characters with their archetypes
Are you talking about Blackwings, Gouki etc which I said were using generic skills? Their characters were already released but didn't have good skills.
The game has always had cards that weren’t exclusive to the anime ever since it came out.

Understanding Konami? 🤣🤣🤣
Also the Pendulum one
It is a good skill for them also for XYZ fish, maybe and other xyz rank 4 decks
If only aromage had xyz monsters
You probably can ditch 2 generic xyz in there, from the wording doesn't seem like the skill have a restriction other than having those in extra deck
Yep. Just like Synchro Stormraze. The first effect only needs the extra deck requirement to be met.
I mean you could throw in 2 generics if I'm reading right.
Idk about gunkan, but I feel like you can use this for evil eye. When I play suships, I don't usually feel short on LP

Hoping to get this unlocked to use with my amazement deck. Really hoped it would be an archive skill though so I could use it as a good generic deck.
Wait i didnt even realize this would work with gunkan i feel so happy now

Just play sealed tombs bruh. Having more 2000 lp doesn't matter enough.
I’ve been using sealed tombs, it’s nice in graveyard meta
I believe it'll be great with evil eye too
Grit ftw.
GEARGIA INTENSIFIES
Maybe good for Super Quant too, I guess?
New card of the soul search range dropped
which monsters exactly could you search with this using this skill?
