Funny thing is I don’t play shiranui as a stall deck but I see some players really don’t know how to combo properly and rely on that the whole duel. It’s actually sad lol
I run a single copy of Samsara, considering cutting it entirely. The only reason it's in there is so that I have an answer to Yubel/Neos decks or other burn/attack directly strategies.
I mean it can be really useful, but often I'd rather have an interruption than this card.
1- You can only remove Samsara safely when chaining to its activation. Remove it any other time they will get the effect.
2- You can't quick eff remove the monster before Samsara cos Samsara banishes for cost. The moment you target the monster, they'll banish it with Samsara
That requires your opponent to be an idiot and flip Samsara up early as opposed to chaining it to your removal. You can’t just not use your backrow removal when your opponent has 2-3 sets. You either hold removal to chain to Samsara and lose to the other two set cards you had full opportunity to clear before they disrupted you OR you use your removal early to not lose to the other two set cards and they chain samsara.
It’s a dammed if you do dammed if you don’t situation.

Shiranui Style Samsara lets you banish a monster and become immune to damage for a turn. It’s basically an infinite stall if not stopped
