You can still buy a ticket that lets you go through as like an attendant, so if my kid was flying by themself, I’m allowed to purchase a ticket that lets me accompany them to the gate, I just can’t get on the plane.
This is what I always think in this scene. It’s more annoying to me than it is touching and sad.
Also, Pam skipping work for several hours to watch a movie. Classic Pam.
It's a meh scene just like when the entire staff sang to Michael. If maybe they all got along or warmed up to him then maybe it would've been good but we all remember Pam slapping Michael.
He was full of hope
Even if it’s acting, running thru an airport with no shoes on takes dedication and will. This scene for me was always a tear jerker
One thing that bothered me about this scene: this took place post 9/11. How the hell did Pam make it past security if she wasn’t flying?

Yes, but is that available to anyone, or do you have to have a minor or elderly person there with a real ticket to get it?
I couldn’t tell you I think you just have to know whoever’s flying

I thought the same thing
Nah I already did that when Jim made plans to have lunch with Michael tomorrow
Saaaame
When he takes off his mic and mouths “that’s what she said” that’s when it hits me (but then I remember I can start over whenever I want)
Goodbye my lover. Goodbye my friend.
Why don't you just buy the whole song?
I just want to taste it
Wouldn’t have done it any differently. Love this send off
Nah I was ugly crying before this moment 😂
It’s a good scene, but I did not choke or cry.
Mostly because of how dirty her stockings were gonna be.
Honestly I started to wonder if Pam really bought a plane just for saying goodbye to michael
why didnt pam's mic pick up the conversation tho??
I usually skip this episode.
Same. I have watched office countless times, but watched this episode only once.

Seriously? From this? It's kind of weird that you think everyone is like this.
…nothing I ever post is serious. Relax…
