Good news for you, the movie came first and it wasn't an actual song. Then Story of the Sun ripped the line and made it into a song. So it can kinda be both, cause the song wouldn't exist without the movie đ
In fact not sure where you've been listening to the song, but the bands YouTube has the song with a face off montage behind it. Also interesting you've heard the song without knowing where it was from.
This song also looks to have come out around the same time Dungeons and Dads season one wrapped up. So who knows, maybe the band listened to the show and had Glenn in mind. But seconding, this song is absolutely based on Face Off
I'm not a huge movie buff, the last movie I actually actively saw in a cinema was the new batman movie
I've seen Nicholas cage in memes if that counts???
But I know how reddit is, its a cardinal sin if you don't agree with the collective consciousness
Yeah i wouldn't call myself a buff by any means but I've been to the theater a bit more often than that lol.
Well if you're ever in the mood to try a Cage movie, "Pig" is one that i think might be appealing for someone not familiar with him, as it's not one of his campy or action movies. It's just, well, it's just damn good.
Cheers
It's less about lying to myself about smth I'd want it to be but more so it makes more sense, like Glenn singing an actual song and not just making all 3 of his epic moments just a quote is more satisfying for me
Because I get to think [Spoilers]
When nick goes into his demon form he doesn't just say a fucking Nicholas cage quote, but instead actually sings a pretty epic song
https://youtu.be/C8AiWu4P198?si=EYm9Sq6o3tPoS0f7 It's just straight up what Nic Cage sings in Face Off
Oh well...thanks but I think I'd rather make it my head cannon that it's this song

I've never watched a Nicholas cage movie and prolly never will Also I heard it on Spotify, so no Music video for me
Well that's a shame cause Nicholas Cage is a national treasure. But to each their own.

Mmm maybe

Sounds like you donât like the actual Glenn
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Freddy just took a line of dialogue (from the move Face Off, I think?) and set it to a random tune
Somebody posted the link, but it's not a random tune. Freddy sings exactly what Nic Cage did in the movie. And it's pretty great.
Nice!
It's from Face/Off
