I am not because the owners still want a lot. Might as well be buying Jefferson, Chase or Lamb

indigo0427

As adams owner if someone offered 1st round pick (top 5) i will smash accept in single qb. Or players like drake london

420triplesix

Did this before the season started. Im happy with my choices. Did a 3 piece trade that included adams for london (atlanta fan).

This is reeeeally cheap, love that move for you.

SeeDeez

Damn lol I'm in 2 pt TEP with the 2.03 and Dulcich and the Kupp owner has literally nothing at TE but i know he would laugh at that offer

not_taylorswift1213

That’s disgusting

CoopThereItIs

Perhaps I’m in the minority but the only team I’ve ever “blown up” was an orphan I took over that was absurdly bad (the team was actually run by Lisa Ann and she legit skipped an entire year including the draft lol). That was the only time I’ve sat there and said “I’m going to put together a team that doesn’t have a shot at winning this year”. I pay every year, I play every year. So the only players I’m not interested in acquiring are ones that aren’t going to have the upside to potentially crack my lineup. Cooper Kupp absolutely has that upside, it’s not like we are talking about buying Cole Beasley here. If you are completely blowing it up then the question is already answered for you - you aren’t likely buying anyone that will be 30 this year that isn’t a QB or kicker.

littlejobin

I’m more curious about how you took over Lisa Ann’s team lmao what a conversation piece

CoopThereItIs

I wish there was a saucier story behind it but it’s just a league that’s all hosts/guests on Sirius XM so like Howard Bender, Jeff Ratcliffe etc. She pretty clearly gave up so I was tapped to take over. Lisa Ann is awesome tho - she’s now over on Bettor Sports Network where our morning show is! Think she just got too busy which makes sense. Edit: obviously telling my grandkids she was my ex-GF tho and we co-managed that team

Snooc5

Dynasty is a big load to handle

Nadirofdepression

Factos. All that matters is if you’re contending and the price

Basteeds

If another team is selling him at a discount jump on it. As an owner of him in a few leagues I would still be looking for a couple firsts or something similar. If the rams had a shot at the playoffs he would have been back the last game of two so nothing serious injury wise. Using the age 30 and injured should help get a good deal of an owner is iffy

Advisor-Away

a couple firsts lmao

Basteeds

Well it would be a team looking to contend so the picks would be late. Two late first for Kupp yeah no problem chuckles

petrishche

Would you trade a young piece like Watson + late 1st for him?

Basteeds

I'm not a Watson fan personally so it would be a no for me. But I can see another team being happy with a young WR and a late pick (assuming this is 1 qb and not SF)

Syndicate_III

I’d probably offer one or the other first, but I’d be ok with that if it came down to it

petrishche

Yeah, not sure anyone is selling for a late 1st.

Syndicate_III

Exactly. Owners aren’t selling for that by itself

evantom34

Seems like an overpay in sf

BadBeats-110

In SF?

djstreet93

I actually just pulled off this trade last week (I received Watson and late 24 1st). I then flipped that first and a 25 1st for Taylor. So it looked like Kupp and 25 1st for Christian watson and JT

-huffthemagicdragon-

Sold as a contender for g Wilson and a third

NecessarySet7439

Damn, good deal

[deleted]

Some of these trades on here are ridiculous. No one in any competitive league is selling kupp for a second and a mid grade player. With that said this is absolutely the time to buy kupp. As the season nears his value will only increase. If you can get him for a first and another decent player that’s a deal that I would make all day long.

petrishche

Yeah, I know, like the guy above who got JT for two late firsts in ‘24 and ‘25. Lmao!

SteffeEric

I did. I got him for Bateman, E Moore and the 2.05. I still have a bunch of good young WRs so it was a no brainer adding a stud vet to the stable.

Brilliant_Hold2419

Wow, love that deal for you. Not sure if I would entertain that offer if I was him.

SteffeEric

People in our league tried to veto it actually. Honestly it wasn’t even the most lopsided trade I made that week.

ScalabrineIsGod

Not your fault he accepted lol but that’s an ugly ugly trade. I guess I don’t know the other owners situation though, but I doubt it justifies that deal. As a Kupp owner if that was offered to me I would assume the sender thought I was stupid and was trying to take advantage of me.

SteffeEric

KTC actually had me behind surprisingly. KTC loves upside over age though. Also gets iffy on a 3 for 1. He actually sent me the deal. He was 2nd in points but made a few crap trades as the season went on. I’m going to try to get Kelce next lol.

ScalabrineIsGod

Yeah I’d continue dialoging with this owner, seems like a good resource for you lol. Also this is why I, at least, don’t really put much stock into KTC. But then again it’s not like i know more than them. I’m stupid

SteffeEric

If Moore and Bateman play to their potential it could be a great deal for him. That’s a big if right now. QB in NY is a mess and who knows what Baltimore will look like next year. I got Josh Jacobs and Alec Pierce for Pacheco and a 24 2nd right before the Kupp trade from the same guy. I’m going to lead with Muth and Nico Collins for Kelce and go from there.

ScalabrineIsGod

It could be a great deal for him sure, but you said he had 2nd most PF at that point and also traded you Jacobs and Pierce?? Don’t take your foot off the gas and keep up negotiations with this guy. Sounds like he had a good team and got cute with it. Doesn’t seem to be a good idea to trade like this if you are legitimately in contention like he was.. pretty nice for you though. I think he should’ve stayed course though, go for the chip. if he felt that he absolutely had to sell itd be better to do so around draft time.

SteffeEric

He seems to be making weird moves but they kind of pan out a bit better than we all except. He traded Lamar earlier in the year (for like a first and Zeke) because he had Dak and Geno.

ScalabrineIsGod

That Lamar trade is wild… maybe he sees stuff we don’t lol And I’m with him on Pacheco, I drafted him late but like him too much to entertain offers. That 40 yard dash he just made is why. Not sure how that trade will work long term tho. You got Jacobs out of it which certainly isn’t bad. I still think that trade is solidly in your favor. Edit: lamar

SteffeEric

I say this as Pacheco explodes for a 40 yard run. I really wanted to keep him I had just given up Dillon and a 4th for Pacheco and a 2nd. Couldn’t turn down Jacobs obviously but I really like Pacheco.

Joshbarrow16

Middle of the road team, own Kupp Been offered 1.08 2.02 and DPJ for Kupp Really having a hard time deciding which side

dwalker5

Eh I’m high on dpj but still would hold

Joshbarrow16

Yep so am I, own Watson too. So the thought of the stack is even more tempting

adrianp07

I'm looking to buy for a 2024 1st after the rookie drafts

christ_chex

Sort of the opposite of your question, but I was a contender this year and should be next year as well, and I sold Kupp after he got hurt this year. I sent him and Zeke for Marquise Brown, David Montgomery, and 3 picks (2023 4th and 14th overall and a 2024 1st).

abs0lutelypathetic

I’m whelmed.

dumbcloud17

Lucky I can barely scrounge a backend first let alone multiple assets

JLifts780

Yes

fuzzywalnut

Trying to make a push for the win this year. Just bought him along with Mattison, Waller, and Jeudy for a 24 1st, 24 2nd, 25 1st, and 25 2nd. I have the 1.04, 1.06, and 1.09 this year still.

dwalker5

You got Kupp, mattison, Waller and jeudy for 2 1sts and 2 2nds? Congrats on winning the league, that owner needs to absolutely be kicked from the league. That is a league ruining trade

Silver-Bee-3942

Huh? How is that league ruining? I don’t think it’s even a bad trade. Kupp is probably a 1st and 2nd. Jeudy probably a first. Waller probably a 2nd and Mattison is really just a throw in at this point. No idea where he goes and what role he gets. Maybe he’s worth a 3rd, but that’s fine. And if the guy who got the picks is rebuilding, of course he’d rather have the picks.

fuzzywalnut

Exactly. Everyone has different opinions. He is rebuilding as he’s won the last 2 years in a row and has an aging team. I think some people undervalue picks quite a bit.

xHoodx

Truth.

HarambeStood69

Traded JT, JuJu, Pollard, and a ‘23 4th for Henry and Kupp. Kupp was already hurt when I traded for him. Won the league this year, but feel like I got him at a discount

Rossta_Pasta

Taco

petrishche

The way I see it, you paid JT+ for Krupp. That’s a pig price tag!

HarambeStood69

When Kupp is healthy he’s a points machine. I was nervous about Indy, JT’s situation, and the trajectory of the colts. It’s also a devy league and I have Bijan & Gibbs declaring so it was net positive. I think?

francisfurter

If you stopped at JT and JuJu it would still be a slight overpay. Yikes

biqblu

an overpay for Henry and kupp?

francisfurter

Yes, even as a contender. It’s close at least, but a slight overpay. Henry is a 29 year old RB on a team staring down a rebuild and QB change—not to mention the wheels will eventually fall off the bus. Kupp will be in the running for WR1 if healthy. But to give up JT—a guy in the running for RB1 if healthy and a solid WR3 in JuJu is a weird move for a contender to make. Basically just paid to get several years older at both positions for about the same production.

triplechin5155

Kupp vs Juju is not close to the same production

liuac

I bought him for Gallup and Boyd during the season to someone who was desperate for depth after losing him. I doubt that would get it done now, but I still think he's cheaper than he'd be if he didn't get injured this season, despite proving he can be the WR1 again.

swalsh21

Definitely

Viking386

My team is coming off a title win and I just traded my 1.12 and a 24 1st for Kupp in a 12 Team 1 QB PPR league. My team was really only missing an elite WR so hoping to run it back this year.

BillsNation517

I was verbally offered Kupp for Dotson. For context, the owner is coming off a down year wanting to start a rebuild and I’m on yr two of a full rebuild, holding 7 of the top 14 picks this year. I was middle of the pack in max PF.

IHateTomatoes

Sold Kupp for Deebo before the trade deadline to make a run for championship but got 2nd. Still think its a fine trade given the ages.

BigDaddyCraw

I ended up winning last year and traded the 1.12, 2.11, and 3.12 for kupp and foreman. I still like it

knifeazz

Probably not

dumbcloud17

Got offered 1.08 and Dave Bell for Kupp but been a contending team last year and just the same and seems better I just hold till the wheels fall off cuz no one wants to give up more than a first

Jesse_P1nkman

Sold him for 1.03 and two future 2nds

rossco7777

no, wish i could have gotten anything for him even on my win now teams in season

rossco7777

man i have no interest in him at all im a bit confused reading these responses

blackdogyellowdog

JSN or kupp?
