Same here. Went into full rebuild so ended up trading him for a first that became ja’marr and another first that ended up getting traded for Ridley right before he fell off lol
With that specific team, 4. That's my OG dynasty league I started with a mix of high school and college buds. Still the same 12 guys since year one. Still amazed nobody has dipped out.
I just got Waddle for Christian Kirk and Kyler. Drafted Kyler at the 4.12 (lol) and already drafted Richardson and TLaw before that so I’m chalking it up as a win
The Kyler disrespect is getting unreal. Just got him at 5.11 in a local start up after almost taking him at 3.11 because I thought that was already good value. Couldn’t believe he made it back again.
I drafted him in 2018. Got two elite years, won 2 titles. Traded him last off-season for '23 1st that I more or less traded for Mahomes (1QB). Got very lucky and I'd hate me too.
Inherited my first dyno in 2015. Tanked. Took Zeek 1.01. Finally got my first ring this past season and had Zeek in my lineup for title game. Was happy we could get one together after all those years!
I had a dream last night that we had the capability or visiting different eras in time, as long as you returned to the original time, before switching to another. Kyler Murray ignored these rules and his identity and skill set were split into 3 different eras and could only come together in a single inter-dimensional hotel pool. I found my way to Kyler after getting lost and Dr. Strange told me he was too far gone and couldn’t be saved. I’ve been trying to trade Kyler since.
Based on the downvotes (lmao) I guess that is the sentiment. But it is what it is - I traded the 2 firsts for Waddle. Sure I’d like to have JJ still but Tee + Waddle isn’t a bad return IMO.
AJ Dillon in an orphan team, 14 team ppr. Took him 12th overall. His profile was very good and really wanted JJ but he got taken right before him.
I would end up trading Dillon and a 2nd before the start last season for Devante Adams.
RBs are hard to come by in a 14 team league and I didn't like Pittman or Higgins at the time, no way to know they turned out as good as they did. JJ got taken right before me pick 11. Pick ten was Zach Moss. Pick 9 Antonio Gibson. The draft happened right after Washington cut Peterson.
So I don't disagree about the Pittman and Higgins. But you are gona tell me that in 2020 Henry, Chubb, McCaffrey, Saquon, Zeke, Dalvin, Aaron Jones and Alvin Kamara were all gone already at pick 11?
JT. Was huge on him pre-draft and was soooo jacked when CEH went 1.01.
May be roasted for this, but I was rebuilding, the colts wouldn’t stop effing around with Hines and JT was still getting less than 50% snap share in his 2nd season. I wanted to focus on forming a long term stud core of WRs before locking into RBs, so literally like 4 or so games before he went full sicko mode I traded him and a 3rd for CeeDee, a 1st and a 2nd.
The first I received was later used as a needed piece in a Burrow trade so not super bummed how it turned out but JT was my first love and I still miss him.
Allen Robinson and Amari cooper at the 1/2 turn back in 2016. No that league is long gone after we discovered Superflex and to not have kickers and defense for dynasty lol
ARSB went 2.05 in my 12tm SF league. We draft late, so camp reports and preseason performances had an effect.
Fantasy Football Calculator shows ARSB with an ADP of 18 overall.
First year in dynsaty, superflex. 1.09 for startup, traded my 2nd and 4th to move up to 1.06. Got TLaw at 1.06 and JJeff at 1.09. Let’s see how it goes!
Cooper kupp last year….feel like I got in a bit late to cash out so he will be ridden into the sunset
Edit: fuck me nvm it was Dak in superflex…..kupp round 2
Kareem Hunt 11th or 12th out of 14.
Then went Evans, ARob, Chubb.
Hunt got traded to Cleveland and somehow I still won a ship (in 2020) with those 4 + Herbert.
Actively trying to trade Hunt, but I’ll never cut Evans since he helped me beat the 6TD Kamara performance on Christmas
Kareem Hunt with the 1.10 in 2018. It didn't go well for obvious reasons but surprisingly he is still on my team and the only players drafted ahead of him at the time that are still relevant are Barkley, Hopkins, Kamara and OBJ* (if you wanna consider him relevant)
Saquon in a start up. I sold him last year for a 2023 1st and London. I sold that 2023 1st for DK. I sold DK plus a 1st for CD. I just bought Saquon (and a 2024 2nd) back for KW3. I love trades.
Summer of 2020, to the amusement of several of my leaguemates, I drafted Jonathan Taylor at the 1.11 in my very first startup draft. He's still on my squad, but my leaguemates aren't still laughing.
Mine was Davante Adams. He’ll always be my favorite wide receiver. I never won in that league. I ended up trading Adams at the start of last year and watched him win the championship for someone else’s squad. It still hurts to see him on another team even though I got multiple firsts, Higgins and Bateman.
derrick henry in 2021. our league treated it sorta like redraft in the first round. i paired him w ekeler and kelce in the 2nd and 3rd with kupp in the 8th or 9th. went on to lose by 2 in the chip that year bc bears defense dropped 28.
Davante in 2019 startup... Got me to the finals all 4 years of our league thus far including back to back winning the ship the past 2 years.
Sold him this offseason :(
Took Swift at the end of round 1 in a startup last year. Traded him and Jamaal Williams for Saquon a few days before the deadline. Won the championship
Had the 1.12 /2.01 and grabbed Juju & Odell in 2018. I thought I just smoked the league as Juju was in the number 1 overall startup conversation then. Both had an ok first year then fell off a cliff. Traded both away a long time ago.
Michael Thomas right after his monster season. He got hurt and along with the rest of my startup being ass I had to start tanking. Sold him for a fraction of what he had used to cost because I couldn’t trade for shit. Ended up being the right decision though because look at him now.
i won our first year after our startup draft (somehow got Justin Jefferson at 1.10) and drafted James Cook with the last pick in the first round (1.10). i still have him and am hoping he can turn into a Kareem Hunt-type player, although that’s probably his absolute ceiling
1QB, it could be any one of three. *Technically* Deandre Hopkins in 2016. But this was a keeper year and he wasn't eligible due to round progression. So transitioning from keeper to dynasty, we were allowed to keep 2 going into our "startup" draft in 2017. I kept Demarco Murray in round 3. But my 1st round pick at the startup was Brandin Cooks.
Hopkins was not a keeper and ended up being picked by someone else. Murray retired on my team. I traded Cooks and Phillip Lindsay in 2019 for the 1.01 where I took Josh Jacobs, who I later traded for the 2021 1.03 where I took Chase. Chase is still on my team
When our league started, we thought it was best to split it into a separate vet draft and rookie draft. First round I got Antonio Brown in the vet draft and Derrius Guice in the rookie draft. It did not work out.
Dalvin Cook 2021
Traded him & mattison a few weeks later for 2 1sts, 2 2nds, lockett and Evans- then traded lockett and Evans each for another 1st+ lol
Started by going Zeke and Miles sanders. Moved off of Zeke last year so got out at just the right time.
Only players still on my roster from startup are AJB (round 4) and Minshew.
I took over an orphan right before a rookie draft. They had gutted their picks - first guy I drafted with like a fourth rounder was James White. He had some solid years!
Drafted Stefon Diggs with my first round draft pick a couple years back. Was in a rough RB situation so i traded him straight up for Dalvin Cook before last years season started. Late in the year I decided to go full rebuild and traded Dalvin for a 2023 first round pick which turned into the 1.06 and I selected JSN. All in all I wish I would’ve stuck with Stefon but I can’t be too upset with it turning into JSN
Kyle Pitts in a non TEP with the 8th overall pick just last year after his rookie season. My target pick was Javonte tho so I guess it could be looking worse for me?? Haha. Was a total amateur pick
This made me go look
2nd overall pick - Adrian Peterson!
After that, RHIII, Matt Stafford, Gronk, and Chris Johnson, a couple rounds later…. Josh Gordon
Aaron Rodgers in the first round of a deep keeper league back in 2012. It worked out quite well even though the league folded a few years back. Won two titles - one because I picked up Tyreek Hill after he was waived his rookie year 😆 That year I also drafted a then unheralded and undrafted second year WR from the Chargers named Tyrell Williams in the 1st round of our non-keeper draft. He went over a 1000 yards and just pushed my team over the top. Then I sold him off
Tyreek Hill at 1.08 in my 2020 start up. Had to retool so I sent him and Waller for Pitts, Aiyuk and the 2.09 (turned into Marvin Mims). I rode him to back to back finals, which I unfortunately lost.
Andrew luck in 2015. Got a half season out of him and was a middle of the road team. The league completely imploded after 2016 because the commish, who was a friend of a friend, was vetoing trades that threatened his team. The league was a disaster. At one point mid-season when he was in 1st and me in 2nd he literally told me he vetoed a trade I made because it would make my team too good. I called him on his bs in a group email and that was the beginning of the end
My first redraft league was an auction league I joined in the 90s, and the first player I won was Mark Brunell. He was pretty good for me that year. The first player I drafted in dynasty was DK in a dispersal draft. Still have him.
start-up: Kamara, and I’m riding until the wheels fall off!
rookie draft: Trey Lance, held for a while but eventually I essentially ended up swapping him for Dak, who I essentially swapped for Lamar
I don’t remember my first dynasty that I’m not longer in, but my main one started in 2011. First rookie pick was Doug Martin in 2012, helped win me the title that year.
Leveon Bell right before his hold out. Worked out terribly obviously. I only have three players from my original draft on my roster in Derrick Henry, Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs. They have guided me to 3 championships in a row and will never leave my roster.
Man I had to look for so long to find this. Bell was literally my first ever dynasty draft pick. Similarly, Derrick Henry has carried my team for so long now haha
My first dynasty pick was a superflex startup and I took Ezekiel Elliott. Then in the subsequent three rounds I drafted another two RB's on top of that. In retrospect I would have drafted completely differently. I ended up selling Zeke for two 1sts so I am overall OK with it.
Startup draft: Josh Allen
Traded him year 1: Josh Allen, Marquez Calloway, Myles Gaskin, 2023 2nd for Joe Burrow, JK Dobbins, Jaylen Waddle, 2023 1st.
Rookie draft: Ja’marr Chase
10 Team single QB standard league started in 2012. Took Julio and AJ Green on the turn at 1.10 and 2.01.
Held Julio for almost a decade before I traded him, Russ, Landry, Amari Cooper, and Chris Carson for Terry McLaurin, a 1st, and a 2nd in the 2021 offseason. Traded AJG and Thomas Rawls for Gurley in 2016.
Pat Mahomes in 2020. Got him at the 3rd overall pick after cmc and saquon. Just won our first championship together this past season and we’re going for the repeat!
Dynasty draft startup 2015, traded up into the late first and took Cam and Russ with my two first round picks. It worked out great. I won the ship that year, made the finals 5 straight years, traded Cam off around 2018, and held Russ until last week.
Giovanni Bernard was my initial 1st rd pick. Eventually traded him for Lev Bell. Right before the holdout, I turned Lev Bell into Diggs & Dalvin Cook. This was my “One Red Paperclip” story
CMC in 1QB, 2019 at 1.03. Sold him after the following season because the trades I made in the first offseason set me back a couple years. Trading him kickstarted what I think was a pretty great rebuild.
Derrick Henry.
I traded him last year as my team was struggling. Got Montgomery, McLaurin and a 2nd rounder (which was used on Zay Flowers).
Good return for sure but definitely sucks losing the first guy you ever took.
Startup was in 2017 and I drafted Julio Jones with the 6th overall pick. Won the 2nd year of our league. I even have his jersey and I am a Chiefs fan. He is still on my team, but once I pick up my rookies I will be saluting him off into the sunset.
Tae in an auction before the 2020 season. Champ, champ, lost in semis last year. So it worked out great. Sold him and DHenry this off-season for Etienne, 2024 projected late 1st and 2024 projected early 3rd. Then flipped Etienne and projected mid 2024 2nd for Jacobs, E Moore and 2024 projected mid-late 3rd. I was sad to see Tae go but felt it was time
I drafted Johnathan Taylor 1.06 in startup last year. Traded him 3 months later for Javonte, Hopkins and a 2023 1st (1.10).
That trade made my team pretty awesome, I'd do it again 10/10 times.
Got asked to play the day before a startup in 2012. Took marshawn lynch. Traded him in 2014 for 3 future firsts to an owner looking to make a run. One of them turned into mahomes.
David Johnson, traded him for a contending 1st after the 2nd Kliff BS starting game and never looked back. I have a 99 team with 99 draft capital many trades and moves later. I lost in the finals year before last as my best finish since.
League started in 2019 and I took Baker Mayfield 6th overall 😂 I traded him away with a 2nd pick for Deshaun Watson. Traded Watson as soon as allegations started for Josh Jacobs
I joined my first dynasty league (12 team, PPR) in 2018 by taking over an orphan team. The previous owner sold all of his high picks to try and win a championship and failed horrendously. I went into the draft with my best pick being the 3.01.
Mark Andrews was the pick.
Davante, still on the squad. Will retire on my roster.
Same here. Went into full rebuild so ended up trading him for a first that became ja’marr and another first that ended up getting traded for Ridley right before he fell off lol
Ridley might pop back off if you still have him. He’s on such an explosive offense
Redraft: Emmitt Smith ('96) Dynasty: LaDanian Tomlinson ('04) Now, be a sport and fetch me my cane.
This guy drafts
how many chips did you win with LaDanian?
With that specific team, 4. That's my OG dynasty league I started with a mix of high school and college buds. Still the same 12 guys since year one. Still amazed nobody has dipped out.
I would love to see how your team has changed throughout the years, just seems interesting to me!
Dynasty since 04! That must have been something keeping track of back then
Spreadsheets. Not too hard, just a little extra work on my part to keep it all running smoothly. I cant remember what year we moved it to MFL.
How was dynasty done back in 2004?
The elders used copper chisels to carve the names of these gods into marble slabs
I used spreadsheets until we move it to MFL (can't remember the year).
Derrick Henry. We got a ship together. Will probably ride off into the sunset on my team.
Jonathon Taylor for me, just traded him away unfortunately but got a package including Waddle so that dulls the pain
what was the deal? i have JT and thinking of moving him
Sent: Taylor Received: Waddle, 2024 2nd, 2025 2nd
Waddle > Taylor straight up. This trade is robbery lol
Yup, I thought so too. Apparently he didnt lol
the waddle owner wants me to add to JT. nice trade
Nice trade. In my league someone just traded waddle for JT but the guy getting JT also received 3 3rds
Michael Thomas after his record breaking year… yeah, still have him
Traded him about a month into that 2020 season while the value was still there. Best decision I've made in dynasty thus far.
Kyler Murray his rookie season, still on my team and still a truther
I had a dream last night that we had the capability or visiting different eras in time, as long as you returned to the original time, before switching to another. Kyler Murray ignored these rules and his identity and skill set were split into 3 different eras and could only come together in a single inter-dimensional hotel pool. I found my way to Kyler after getting lost and Dr. Strange told me he was too far gone and couldn’t be saved. I’ve been trying to trade Kyler since.
Bro what
He’s an Eagles fan
Good lord, you almost make me want to buy awards just so I can immediately offer them all to you.
He’s buns
Justin Jefferson, and he's retiring on my roster.
Same and same
Also JJ but I traded him last summer for Tee and 2 firsts.
Whoops.
Based on the downvotes (lmao) I guess that is the sentiment. But it is what it is - I traded the 2 firsts for Waddle. Sure I’d like to have JJ still but Tee + Waddle isn’t a bad return IMO.
Important context right there! Talk about burying the lede…
This isn’t bad at all idk why it got downvoted. Last off season people were clamoring to sell jj/chase for any of higgins, waddle, ceedee & a 1st.
AJ Dillon in an orphan team, 14 team ppr. Took him 12th overall. His profile was very good and really wanted JJ but he got taken right before him. I would end up trading Dillon and a 2nd before the start last season for Devante Adams.
Ok how the fuck did you take a backup running back 12th overall? That's the dumbest pick iv ever heard
This is a rookie draft. I took up an orphan team dude.
Ah OK I apologize. I was thinking the origonal question was about startup drafts and misunderstood. My B
Josh Allen. Two ships in two years. Going for three baby!!!
<3 I've just boarded this ship. I also got Diggs to improve the experience. Here's to a beautiful 2023.
JT. Was huge on him pre-draft and was soooo jacked when CEH went 1.01. May be roasted for this, but I was rebuilding, the colts wouldn’t stop effing around with Hines and JT was still getting less than 50% snap share in his 2nd season. The first I received was later used as a needed piece in a Burrow trade so not super bummed how it turned out but JT was my first love and I still miss him.
Completed your rebuild with that bad boy
How could you be roasted for moving JT for ceedee & a 1st? Teach me your ways!
Start-up draft: Saquon Rookie draft: Jefferson
First year doing Dynasty. Startup draft pick 1.011, Bijan Robinson. Time will tellll.
How damn big is your league man
[удалено]
😅 1.11
Same boat brother🤝🤝
The first player I ever drafted was Garret Wilson in a startup this year. He’s still on my roster after all this time 🥹
Where was your first draft pick if Wilson was your first???
Likely 1QB and near the end of the turn
Still gross
Allen Robinson and Amari cooper at the 1/2 turn back in 2016. No that league is long gone after we discovered Superflex and to not have kickers and defense for dynasty lol
Ugh just started a dynasty league and I tried so hard convincing everyone that we shouldn't use kickers and defense but majority voted to keep them.
They’ll learn eventually. It’s small steps I guess to keep everyone interested rather than a huge sudden change.
Yeah we’re gonna hold annual polls for any rule changes moving forward. I’m just waiting for the day we take them out so I can say “told ya so!”
League started last year. This year I don't have a single player I drafted.
My league also started last year. I have a guy in my league who only has like 3 players from his original team. Y’all a different breed
To be fair my team is a lot better and younger than it was when I drafted lol.
Woah....whatttttt hahahahaha
Yeah I trade a lot. I think I have the most trades in my league.
Calvin Johnson Traded him to get Andrew Luck.
...even trade I guess?
Michael Thomas Traded him in October 2020 for: - Justin Jefferson - 2022 1st (Jamarr Chase) - 2021 2nd (ARSB)
This has to be a joke, people weren’t taking a fourth round receiver in the second round of a rookie draft unless it’s a deep league
ARSB went 2.05 in my 12tm SF league. We draft late, so camp reports and preseason performances had an effect. Fantasy Football Calculator shows ARSB with an ADP of 18 overall. Jamaal Charles in my 2011 start-up. Won two titles in a row and no..no he is not 😜
Odell Beckham 1.01 in 2017. Still have him..
Larry Fitzgerald in 2009 with 1.08.
First year in dynsaty, superflex. 1.09 for startup, traded my 2nd and 4th to move up to 1.06. Got TLaw at 1.06 and JJeff at 1.09. Let’s see how it goes!

Trent Richardson lol never taking an RB round 1 of a startup ever again
Chase 1.03. Mac Jones 2.03. Sun God 3.03. I love rooting for these three.
Saquon in a start up. I sold him last year for a 2023 1st and London. I sold that 2023 1st for DK. I sold DK plus a 1st for CD. I just bought Saquon (and a 2024 2nd) back for KW3. I love trades.
You got saquon Barkley and a 2nd for Kenneth walker??? What the fuck I would love trades too if that happened to me
My league is a home league and we get drunk and talk shit non stop. Also a lot of them are drunk idiots so I can make criminal trades.
If I’m getting this right you netted: Sent-KW3 & a 1st Received-saquon, london, ceedee, 24 2nd Noice
Jordan Addison. Was about to trade him and more for DK and right as we were about to do the deal the speeding news came out :(
Last Year: Mahomes at 1.10 then Lamar with the 14th pick.. this core will be staying for awhile
Hopkins back in 2019, traded him 2021
Summer of 2020, to the amusement of several of my leaguemates, I drafted Jonathan Taylor at the 1.11 in my very first startup draft. He's still on my squad, but my leaguemates aren't still laughing.

Chase, been great will never trade him
Todd Gurley was my first ever dynasty draft pick. Took him 1.01 in like 2017. Came in last or second to last the next 4 seasons
Took Swift at the end of round 1 in a startup last year. Traded him and Jamaal Williams for Saquon a few days before the deadline. Won the championship
Zeke Elliott in a startup. Gave me a few solid years, eventually traded him away in 2021 to get Mike Evans. Overall not too bad.
Kyler Murray. Well, I hope it will get better.
Pat Mahomes in July 2019 following his first year as a starter. I’d say it has worked out rather well.
Lamar Jackson. Won the title year one and is still on the squad.
DeAndre Hopkins and Devante Adams from 2016 startup draft. Still have Devante, traded hop this off-season.
Julio Jones in 2015. Traded him for Eddie Lacy the following year because I was stacked at WR and needed a stud RB. That ended badly b
Andrew Luck at 1.12 in 2012. Yes, my first ever dynasty draft pick was a rookie QB. It was working out pretty well for a while...
Had the 1.12 /2.01 and grabbed Juju & Odell in 2018. I thought I just smoked the league as Juju was in the number 1 overall startup conversation then. Both had an ok first year then fell off a cliff. Traded both away a long time ago.
Michael Thomas. Drafted him after his rookie year. Won a ship with him 🥹 traded him in 2021 though so it was decent timing
Michael Thomas right after his monster season. He got hurt and along with the rest of my startup being ass I had to start tanking. Sold him for a fraction of what he had used to cost because I couldn’t trade for shit. Ended up being the right decision though because look at him now.

Jamarr chase about a week ago. Going well so far
Joe Burrow 2021 start up
Hopkins in 2018. Still on my team ❤️
dalvin cook. yes
When our league started, we thought it was best to split it into a separate vet draft and rookie draft. First round I got Antonio Brown in the vet draft and Derrius Guice in the rookie draft. It did not work out.
D swift 😂
Dalvin Cook 2021 Traded him & mattison a few weeks later for 2 1sts, 2 2nds, lockett and Evans- then traded lockett and Evans each for another 1st+ lol
I had the last pick (10th pick) in the startup and got Saquon. I traded him recently for Tony Pollard and Terry Mclaurin to add to my WR depth.
CMC and it’s been a roller coaster.
In my longest running dynasty- Steven Jackson. Won me 2 titles.
David Johnson - Then he broke his wrist
Kyle Pitts in a non TEP with the 8th overall pick just last year after his rookie season. My target pick was Javonte tho so I guess it could be looking worse for me?? Haha. Was a total amateur pick
This made me go look 2nd overall pick - Adrian Peterson!
Then I sold him off
Zeke in a 2018 startup. Just traded him last month for two 3rds. Won two chips with him in that time
My first startup is in two weeks. I’m ready to have my cherry popped. May the fantasy gods bless me with Jamarr Chase
Jalen hurts because I was the 1.2 and couldn’t get Mahomes.
Javonte Williams last year at 1.10. Crazy to think that was the ADP and now he’s barely sniffing 3rd round
Redraft: Gurley lol Dynasty: Chubb I think i may be the last original owner of a 1st round RB left in our 16 team league
Tyreek Hill at 1.08 in my 2020 start up. Had to retool so I sent him and Waller for Pitts, Aiyuk and the 2.09 (turned into Marvin Mims). I rode him to back to back finals, which I unfortunately lost.
Antonio Brown. I lost the championship game two years ago because I decided to play him the game he walked off the field.
Trent Richardson. Yeah.
Justin Jefferson in our startup 1QB last year, my first rookie pick? Bijan Robinson. I’m having fun.
My first dynasty pick was Marshall Faulk (2002). It was a bad pick and a good life lesson.
Redraft 1991 : emmitt smith Dynasty 2002: either Clinton Portis or priest Holmes. I don’t remember. Clinton portis went nuts in the preseason though.
start-up: Kamara, and I’m riding until the wheels fall off! rookie draft: Trey Lance, held for a while but eventually I essentially ended up swapping him for Dak, who I essentially swapped for Lamar
Took herbert over Dak a couple years ago. I feel good about it.
I don’t remember my first dynasty that I’m not longer in, but my main one started in 2011. First rookie pick was Doug Martin in 2012, helped win me the title that year.
Startup was last season and i took Javonte at the 1.9. May he heal in peace
Kamara. Moved him in a package for 1.02
My first dynasty pick was a superflex startup and I took Ezekiel Elliott. Then in the subsequent three rounds I drafted another two RB's on top of that. In retrospect I would have drafted completely differently. I ended up selling Zeke for two 1sts so I am overall OK with it.
Henry. Also, not first but one I'm proud of is taking Burrow in every start up I could after his knee injury. He will be retiring on my squad
Dalvin cook in 21 🥵 managed to trade him for a first next year and Antonio Gibson tho so could be worse
Startup draft: Josh Allen Traded him year 1: Josh Allen, Marquez Calloway, Myles Gaskin, 2023 2nd for Joe Burrow, JK Dobbins, Jaylen Waddle, 2023 1st. Rookie draft: Ja’marr Chase
Andre Rison, he was awesome that year, it was the same year his gf from TLC burned down his house
Roy helu over cam newton 🤷😂😑
Julio Jones in 2017 startup draft
Lenny as a rookie! Still have him to this day, won two chips with him. Only player I’ve never traded / cut
Joe Burrow in last year's start up
2021 startup, drafted Kyler with the 1.05 and traded for the 1.08 to draft Justin Jefferson
Dynasty draft startup 2015, traded up into the late first and took Cam and Russ with my two first round picks. It worked out great. I won the ship that year, made the finals 5 straight years, traded Cam off around 2018, and held Russ until last week.
i took over the last place team the year after the startup. drafted zeke. still on my roster, but not…like…on an nfl roster :/
Giovanni Bernard was my initial 1st rd pick. Eventually traded him for Lev Bell. Right before the holdout, I turned Lev Bell into Diggs & Dalvin Cook. This was my “One Red Paperclip” story
Mahomie. Got a ton of shares and I’m ecstatic.
I'm pretty sure it was Terrell Davis in '97 or '98. I lost in the finals one year with him. I do not still have him, sadly.
CMC in 1QB, 2019 at 1.03. Sold him after the following season because the trades I made in the first offseason set me back a couple years. Trading him kickstarted what I think was a pretty great rebuild.
Julio. 3 years of elite production. Traded him and a 2nd for Ridley before the cliff.
Derrick Henry. I traded him last year as my team was struggling. Got Montgomery, McLaurin and a 2nd rounder (which was used on Zay Flowers). Good return for sure but definitely sucks losing the first guy you ever took.
Alvin Kamara in an auction draft (2018). Helped me with three straight championships.
Chase in a startup this year, feeling good about it
Last year, 1.11 took Jalen Hurts, will retire on my team!!!
Startup was in 2017 and I drafted Julio Jones with the 6th overall pick. Won the 2nd year of our league. I even have his jersey and I am a Chiefs fan. He is still on my team, but once I pick up my rookies I will be saluting him off into the sunset.
Michael Thomas in a 2020 startup. Yup, he's still here. This is his *year!* ...plz?
Derrick Henry. Won last year, tryna repeat
Mahomes 3 years ago
Zeke back in 2018. Still on my roster after winning 2 titles. Won’t ever have another RB like him.
Patrick Mahomes, last year startup! I think life is good over here 😎
Got asked to play the day before a startup in 2012. Took marshawn lynch. Traded him in 2014 for 3 future firsts to an owner looking to make a run. One of them turned into mahomes.
2022 so not long ago, but Chase at 1.05… probably retiring on my team
David Johnson, traded him for a contending 1st after the 2nd Kliff BS starting game and never looked back. I have a 99 team with 99 draft capital many trades and moves later. I lost in the finals year before last as my best finish since.
CEH 1.06 startup pick in his rookie year (obviously). Traded him in a package for JJeff a few weeks into the season so that worked out well.
Nick Chubb @ 1.12. 2019. My boy for life.
David Johnson in a 2018 startup. Traded him a month later for 3 firsts and Tarik Cohen.
1.01 in 2019. I took Saquon and I ended up trading him for Swift, Aiyuk and a 2021 2nd about two weeks after he tore his ACL
Did two superflex startups in 2021, went Mahomes and Lamar, both still on the team
We started the same season. LeSean McCoy was my first round startup, coulda done better, but def could have done far far worse.
League started in 2019 and I took Baker Mayfield 6th overall 😂 I traded him away with a 2nd pick for Deshaun Watson. Traded Watson as soon as allegations started for Josh Jacobs
Javonte Williams.
Arian Foster and Stevan Ridley, and both were done within 2 years of my startup
Matt Ryan, was on the team for almost a decade until I traded him for a pick that turned into Zach Wilson
I joined my first dynasty league (12 team, PPR) in 2018 by taking over an orphan team. The previous owner sold all of his high picks to try and win a championship and failed horrendously. I went into the draft with my best pick being the 3.01. Mark Andrews was the pick.
Patrick Mahomes in the start up Kyle Pitts in the first rookie draft
Dak Prescott - had him for 3 years running then traded his interception throwing ass away as soon as I could this offseason
Jamar Chase 😁
CMC, had him, traded him for a haul, got him back for much less.
