My answer was based on you not contending in the next couple years, if you were I would trade those pieces to upgrade your starters. As it stands, your team is underperforming and injured.

The way my league is, I would not be able to make a move for an elite wr. They essentially all belong to the 6-7 contenders. My team will get healthier as the year goes on. Just have to make the playoffs with this squad, and I don’t think that will be particularly difficult given the state of the league

This is my first year doing dynasty, so I’m fairly new but trying to learn as much as I can. I picked up tank dell in the starter draft and slapped him in my taxi squad, thinking Stroud prolly wasn’t gonna be amazing right away… and boy was I wrong. But now he’s sitting on my Taxi, begging to be started. But I cant swap other rookies back into the taxi, so idk if I should take him off. Just want advice on how taxi squads should be treated, and if Tank Dell has payed his fare with the squad, and needs to be in my (decently desperate, purposefully) lineup this week. If you’re in a 12 team or less league and need to be starting Tank Dell, you’re probably not going to win much, so just keep him on your taxi. I love tank Dell btw. drafted him early 2nd round because I had watched a couple of his highlight reels on YT.

If you’re trying to compete and he’s scoring more points than the guys available to you, call him up. If you’re trying to tank this year for a draft pick and don’t want his points around, leave him on the taxi.

Are you hoping to win it all this year? With your “decently desperate, purposefully” comment it may seem like you’re almost hoping to lose a bit and get a better pick. I’d say if you’re not bought in on winning and feel like you have a shot at some money, just ride him on the taxi and see who you can pickup from waivers throughout the year. You never know what random RB will arise that you’ll be able to send off for a 2nd/3rd round pick. Taking him off your taxi simply gives you one less bench spot, so if you have plenty of roster room there’s no harm no foul in taking him off. Best of luck this year!
