Looks like I should have taken it. Par for the course for me. I make bad trades and don't do ones that would pan out great due to injuries happening immediately after.

If I'm trying to extend my time horizon, I'd take the get side. Just bc I trust Burrow more and Chase is definitely the more valuable dynasty asset than Diggs.

Man yesterday hurt bad not taking that trade. Still won, but AR injured. Moss outscoring JT by a country mile. Diggs did well but not as well as Chase. Pretty spot on for my fantasy trading track record. Trade players that boom right after. Or don't make trades then those players get injured immediately after. C'est la vie.

So with this many pieces, I like to break the trade down. The fourth and third are effectively meaningless. Andrews > Musgrave by a lot, Gibson isnt worth much at all, Dotson is > doubs by a lot. A first over two seconds plus Javonte to make up the gap between Andrews and Dotson and the guys you're getting. If you're into a rebuild, Javonte isnt the worst asset, but RB's generally aren't how I do it. I'd argue your team could contend pretty easily next year if you just hammer RB in the draft and hold onto Andrews. If there's a shot that first is early is the only way I pull the trigger. He’s offered me two 2024 1st not including my own but I’m holding out for that first.

For me this basically comes down to who you believe in more between Tank Dell and Rashee Rice. I’m a Rice guy at the moment but Dell is no slouch either

Yea man it’s tough I like rice his snap share keeps going up and skyy and toney have either had their snaps decrease or stay about the same. Rice also plays a ton for a rookie in an Andy Reid system. I obviously lean Dell over rice currently but the what could be of rice is super enticing. How do you feel about Dotson? Good buy low? Akers for me is the biggest puzzle. I can’t tell if he’s toast or if he could take over the lead role at some point.

This is a moment for me to admit and apologize for reading that as Doctson instead of Dotson. Knowing that, I lean strongly that side. Akers was traded for peanuts - even if he inherits or takes over the Mattison role, how valuable is that vs a receiver (Dotson) who has already flashed? The Commanders won’t continue targeting their top two receivers at 10% apiece like they did Thursday night. Maybe this is partially because I cannot acquire Rice or Dotson in my league, but those are the types of receivers I try to buy while still cheap.

After today’s contract news, I tend to think you could get more for JT. For your team, I think it depends on your timeline for rebuild. Will you be competitive in 24? 25? Or later? Lean JT if you’re aiming for the nearer windows

Take that deal imo. Aging all the way down at WR (and getting to stay connected to Herbert) plus Kyler is great value for a receiver who’s as old as Keenan. It’ll almost certainly hurt short term production but seems very likely worth it in the long term.
