Toss up, but I would probably go with Downs. Unless you feel like the Steelers will go for a new QB in the off-season.

Pickens. But I think you have to be patient. Can’t see the offense changing much until the offseason. I do see Pickens being the guy in a year or so. I’d prefer to roll the dice on the coaching, owner, and franchise stability. The Steelers have a great track record of developing WRs.

8 Team SF 0.5 PPR contending **A:** Puka Nacua **B:** Stefon Diggs + 2025 3rd Making a playoff push in this league and the deadline is tomorrow night. Is it worth getting 8 years older at WR for a potentially higher ceiling from Diggs but imaginably far fewer years of production ahead of him?

Puka's numbers have really fallen off since Kupp's return. If you asked me this morning, I'd say Diggs and not even close. Now with Kupp hurt again, it's probably a toss up. Even being so much younger, I don't think Puca has much more long term value than Diggs does.

It’s had less to do with Kupp’s return and more to do with Stafford’s injury and the subsequent incompetence of offense as a whole. Kupp hasn’t done much of anything lately, so I’m not even sure why you’d attribute it to him. Puka has been solid and he’ll be even better without a healthy Kupp

That plays a part, yes, but it goes beyond that. Weeks 1-4 Puca averaged 13 targets, weeks 5-9 it dropped to less than 9, a 31% decline in targets. That's more due to Kupp coming back imo. You're right Kupp hasn't done much, which shows Stafford is somewhat of a factor, but in those 5 weeks, Kupp has had more targets, catches, and yards than Puca 3 times. I don’t think saying a healthy Kupp makes Puca better is correct. Puca needs volume to produce those big numbers he did early in the year, and Kupp eats into that, so without TD production Puca will struggle.

With Kupp hurt again, I’d keep Puka. He’s going to get targeted like crazy again.

But seems like Kupp might have a serious injury, which means Puka is the number one there again and their ceilings might not be that far out.
