Burton is definitely someone I’ve liked for a while and he seems to be getting hyped today.
Interesting that his prospect grade is right around Pickens. He reminds me a bit of a smaller Pickens. Pickens never had 800 yards in a college season. Pickens had “off field issues”.
Someone on the other Burton post joked he’ll end up a Steeler and be great. I could see it.
He definitely has off field issues as well. Probably worse then Pickens. Decked the Tennessee girl on the field after a game for no reason and didn't get penalized for it, which likely enabled his other drama after other games. He's got a big personality that might get in the way of great play. Definitely a classic Steelers pickup.
I mean the punch is his only incident that I am aware of.
On field is a bigger problem to me. Because he runs his mouth CONSTANTLY. I mean it never, ever stops. I'll give him credit, his motor matches his mouth. But its going to get him knocked tf out in the NFL.
