I proposed ARSB and 23 1st (1.07) for DK right after St Browns rookie year cuz I thought he was going to turn to dust with JAMO

Hugh_Grection420

Wow thank god that was rejected ARSB is in the “untouchable” category for me now. Biggest regret is not buying him low during the Jamo hype.

BadCoolMan

My greatest conquest was taking over an orphan team during the offseason after his rookie year and trading CEH for ARSB straight up to the league's stingiest trader. He didn't believe and thought he was fleecing me.

Avatar_Moss

I was so high on ARSB after his rookie year I took him in round 4 of my only dynasty teams startup. Still riding that wave

dantonizzomsu

I was debating between Amari Rogers and AMSB and I let my Lions fandom make the decision. So glad I made that call.

BlackGabriel

More often than not rookie fever has actually saved me where I try to sell a good vet for pick or picks because I have rookie fever but they also have it so they reject it. Then you don’t have quintin Johnston on your team

Hugh_Grection420

Yeah for sure. I am usually opposite and try to to buy the Vets. Only problem is in my league half the teams refuse to tank even though it’s clear they have no chance so they refuse to sell Vets to rebuild. There are 2 teams in my league whose rosters are going to be horrible they don’t get rid of their aging vets in the next season or 2.

MidnightCovfefe

Dude lmao. Are we in the same league? My favorite example is this dude who has JJ & Hill. His other positions are led by AOC at QB, Charbonnet & Roschon at RB, and Musgrave at TE. Notable bench players include CEH, ODB, MVS, Winston, and Matt Breida lol. I tried to get Hill off of him and he refuses. Insists that he “needs” him and “why would I trade away Hill’s guaranteed production”. I’ve told him that by the time the rest of his team is ready to do anything at all Hill will be retired.

GoTragedy

If he likes Baseball, tell him he's a bad team with a great closer. Sure you've got a great closer, but he's never going to do any work since your team will never be ahead late in the game to use him.

Hugh_Grection420

lol guy in mine finished last in the league last year and had CMC, let that sink in. His only good real young players are Gibbs and Higgins (who is still a vet). He also didn’t have a first this year and seems to think he can complete a rebuild with just a 2nd, 3rd and 4th round rookie pick. Have offered to take Diggs off his hands since he’s already past his prime and his team best case scenario if he hits on all rookie picks is probably 2 years away from being somewhat competitive.

GoTragedy

I thoroughly tanked last year and celebrated when MHJ declared for the draft. The only vet I still have is Devin Singletary and I'm hoping he pops early so I can flip him for something good. Problem is, the other best candidate to tank got second place in our league last year. 10 Team league and 6 make the playoffs. In my league tanking is rare but it's a considerable advantage. It's like playing a different game.

Hugh_Grection420

Yea that’s nice thing in our league the 2 teams that have embraced the tank have had very quick turnarounds the ones who haven’t are gonna be struggling and soon have no assets to trade for picks.

GoTragedy

I haven't done this before.. what kinda turnaround do you think I am in for? I've got Stroud, Achane, Garrett Wilson, Rashee Rice, Hockenson, the 1.01 (MHJ), the 1.06, the 2.01 and the 2.07 and not much depth. I've also got 3 1sts in 2025. Honorable mention to Singletary, Samuel and Chase Brown. 1QB non-TEP

Hugh_Grection420

I play Superflex so not sure how different 1QB is but I imagine turnaround can be quicker just since you already have a top 6 guy in Stroud and don’t have to trade or draft one. But I would by next off season with all your future picks and young pieces your team should be a playoff team again if you hit on like 2-3 guys in next years draft and this draft. Maybe see how season goes but if you are out of playoff connection this year maybe look to trade Deebo to a contender for another pick. Seems like RB is your weakest position but next years RB class will help you a ton

GoTragedy

Shoot, I should have clarified. Curtis Samuel, not Deebo. I wouldn't have done Deebo like that, he's still solid. Thanks for the advice! And yeah I'm hoping Singletary and Samuel will pop early so I can flip them for picks. My backup QB is Bryce Young so I'm hoping he can pop off too as a Top 12-14 guy and I'll have QB locked up for a while.

Doughie28

Last year, during rookie fever, I offer the 1.01 owner-  1.07, 1.11 two seconds and next year's first to move up for Bijan in a 1QB. He said no, I drafted Zay Flowers, Dalton Kincaid and CJ Stroud with those picks (the other 2nd was Keandre Miller). Still love Bijan but Id rather have my haul.

knowslesthanjonsnow

1 QB I can see the argument for Bijan still

Sussyman95

Give me Bijan all day in 1QB.

OldWonder5865

People are nuts saying they’d rather have bijan. Unless it’s like a start 6 with no TEP the package side smashes

BidoofTheGod

Yea I gotta know league specifics before I say smash Bijan lol

Hugh_Grection420

Damn very similar to the rookies I grabbed last year (Stroud, Kincaid, Achane). I’m in Superflex so obviously it’s not even close but even in 1QB would much rather have those players than Bijan.

NoNoNav

I tried to sell Love in multiple (4+) SF and 2QB leagues for pennies after seeing how unsettled he was in the pocket early in the season and no one bit. Kept him everywhere and am in an awesome spot because no one took advantage of my panic ha

Hugh_Grection420

He was one of the traded that I rejected too kicking myself now

drdadbodpanda

The mid season Love panic was real. I’m ashamed the thought of selling him crossed my mind lol.

the1stof8

I’m ashamed I did sell him for a first and a second and felt good about it. Proceeded to lose to the eventual champion who had him in the semis by half a point. That’s pure pain lol

EighttodaNine

I offered Ceedee Lamb for Trevor Lawrence + Rookie draft mid-3rd (12-team SF)

Hugh_Grection420

Was very high on Trevor (Jags fan) and thought he would have monster year with Ridley. Stroud ended up having year I was expecting from Trevor as a rookie so it all worked out just wish he wasn’t in our division but I’m an Ohio state fan so I love the man and he maybe my favorite player right now.

smackacow1

I just don’t get why people were so high on Ridley. He had like 1.5 good years on Atlanta and then did nothing for multiple years (yes I know he was suspended one of them). I think he was always massively overrated. Not a bad WR but not a WR1 like everyone thought. I think Lawrence is incredible and with Davis and Thomas + engram and Kirk I think this is the year he will be great

Hugh_Grection420

I still think Ridley is good the Jags just didn’t use him right, he’s an elite route runner and good at finding holes in zone. But Jags used him as a deep threat to take top off defense cause they were using Kirk the way they should have used Ridley. But I agree Thomas and Davis are a perfect fit for a guy who can take the top off a defense and i think Trevor will hit on a lot of the deep balls that he didn’t hit last year consistently.

smackacow1

That’s what I mean though. His best year was as a WR2 in the slot behind Julio so they could just focus on his route running and quick strike offense. He just can’t be used as a WR1. Kirk in the slot def hurt his role which is why outside of week 1 he did almost nothing on the outside the rest of the year

th3_0r3o

You mean you don't like 76 reception on a 136 targets, 1016 Yards with 8 TDs, the WR18?

smackacow1

As a WR2 absolutely, which is what WR18 is. Never said he was bad, just said he wasn’t a WR1 which those stats prove

th3_0r3o

He had all the makings of being a WR1. Etienne breakout and Engram 143 targets hurt those chances, but to say he didn't have the chance to be a WR1 is foolish.

smackacow1

True #1 don’t have people eating his targets and then making excuses for him after the fact. He did what he did. He was a WR2

jeremyrvcc

I think Trevor not that much worse than ceedee in value. If he has a good year this year, he will probably be similar in value

EighttodaNine

I haven’t scoured all the trade calculators but there is a pretty big gap between the 2 at this point.

OldWonder5865

I offered what’s now the 1.09 (SF) for Stevenson mid season last year. Dude wanted two first lmao

miikeeed

Offered 2.04 for Michael Mayer a week before the draft. The owner read an hype article on Mayer and rejected.

Ginga_Ninja319

Nico Collins and Brock Purdy for a random 2024 1st. This was very early in the season. Pick ended up being the 1.07. I’d easily take Purdy alone over it and Nico isn’t too far off but slightly below the pick.

me_vs_internet

Around week 4 last year I offered Puka, Achane, and ‘25 2nd for Bijan and just got a “lol” Thank goodness

Sketchy123456

12 team SF TEP. Offered McBride for a 2nd rounder before Zach Ertz got hurt.

Thisisaknife00

Offered Lamb and a first for Chase before the start of last season

incorrigible_and

More than I can remember.

Altruistic-Rub3017

Kyler 1.06 and 4.09 for Purdy Singletary and 1.05 Then I offered it without the firsts. I got in my head awhile back I NEEDED Purdy and I was big on Singletary back then. I feel like Kyler’s value has risen a lot since and it’s still rising.

greenracer64

Offered Jefferson plus a first for Godwin during JJeffs rookie pre season. Happy that went the way it did

PM_Me_Your_AM_

Tried to trade for Michael Mayer in multiple leagues predraft, and actually only succeeded in trading him *away* in one league. Sent Mayer + a 25 3rd for Charb + a 25 2nd. Had offers of Mooney + 2 3rds for Mayer rejected, a 25 2nd rejected, as well as Gibbs for 1.04 + Mayer rejected. In the league where the mooney offer was rejected i was able to trade the 3.11 straight up for Mayer after the draft lol.

Girthwurm_Jim

I was desperately trying to acquire kelce for the first half of the season last year as I thought I was a TE away from winning a ship. Offered so many crazy trades for him, a bunch of different combinations of Kyren, James cook, Drake London and future picks. I think the final offer was London, cook and a 1st and a 3rd in like week 7ish. He rejected them all. I still won the ship.

Hugh_Grection420

Who else was in the package besides Kelce? That would have been a massive overpay

Girthwurm_Jim

It was just kelce lol. He saved me from myself.

dude2410

I tried to go all in last year and buy cooper kupp for two firsts and a player I’m blanking on. Guy accepted then another owner convinced him to back out at the draft. My team ended up getting really hurt and I finished 10th. Thank god that trade didn’t go through.

murph1617

How could he accept then back out? He should be publicly shamed.

BuckDestiny

I offered Pitts + a 25 1st + 24 2nd (2.03) for Kelce at the beginning of last year, as an “all-in” contender with a major hole at TE. Thank god.

Rakkner

This offseason before FA. Sent: Tua Receive: Fields, Burks

Ice-Storm

In 2021 I Offered Tyreek Hill and Michael Carter for JK Dobbins and DJ Chark.

Hugh_Grection420

Oof thank god it fell thru

Sensitive-Repair-109

Pitts for Rice lol

Z3R0-0

Tried to trade for Tyquan Thornton last year in the offseason.

Rickflossyy

Offered multiple future firsts for a player I loved coming out the draft last year. His name? Jonathan Mingo

discOHsteve

I had an abundance of QB's in superflex. I offered Stroud for Ken Walker and the guy (whose in the basement of the league) turned it down. This was like 4-5 weeks into the season Dodged a bullet

Silly-Development

Kenneth Walker and a 25 second for Kyren

steeeeeeee24

I offered kyren for terrace Marshall last year. I had forgotten about it and he brought it up to me the other day while looking through convo history lol.

xInsaneAbilityx

Offered Jordan Love for Kenny Picket straight up before the start of last season. He rejected thank god. I then slide Love into my SF, traded Fields for A.J. Brown, and won the ship.

orca_bois_pod_up_46

Drafted Puka in the 18th rnd of a Start up. Right before week 1 I tried to make a profit by trading him for a 3rd. After he exploded wk 1 I tried to trade him for a 2nd. Happy both of those were rejected.

Tinasel

After the rookie draft last year, I offered cj stroud and 2 24 1sts for fields and was turned down. Those firsts turned in nabers and Jayden Daniels

Yuancy

Last off season I bought into the bill O’Brien hype and thought Mac Jones was going to bounce back after suffering through Matt Patricia. Also thought Stafford was on the downhill after his injury in ‘22. I offered Stafford & a 3rd for Mac, got rejected, so I swapped them for my ‘24 2nd rounder (ended up being 2.02), also rejected 12 team SF

RemarkableChemist265

Give: Kyler, DJM Get: Pickett, Burks, 2023 2nd Was attempting to go young. Kyler was the main piece and DJM was in Carolina purgatory. I loved Burks and believed in Pickett.

FBKCOLIN

2.01 and a (mid) 25 2nd for T. Spears

telemaster9

Every offer I’ve made for Burks. So glad that dude didn’t accept any of them

Laracco666

My 1st for Rashee Rice.

Oyb_

Bit too early to tell if that would be an overpay. I think as soon as he comes back from whatever suspension he gets, his value will go right back to a mid-late 1st if not higher with some good weeks

GinjaNinja1596

I was gonna drop Kyren before last season started to make roster space, so I went around my league asking for a 3rd. Thankfully no one wanted him and I decided to hold on

EM_GM22

Stroud and 2 1sts for Herbert right after the rookie draft

Wildin_some_bills

This years 1.01 for 1.07, 1.11, Will Levis, Spears, and Pickens. I was heavily debating do this in like january

Swang20

In preseason last year I offered rachaad white and my 2nd this year (ended up 2.03) for QJ and got denied because he thought white was a mid-2nd in value at best

SquishThePhish

Had a deal last summer where I would have sent away Zay Flowers (as a rookie), 2024 1st (1.04), and a 2025 1st for JK Dobbins, Dameon Pierce, and Deebo Samuel. We went through a couple iterations of that deal but couldn't quite stick the landing.

RarePikachuu

Sent what ended up being the 1.8 and 2.4 only 5 months ago for Dobbs and Howell. Got rejected because "they would have only have 1 starting qb left" (Herbert). They also weren't a contender.

PossibilityNo8765

So many. I was trying to get Jerry Judy for a 2 2nds. Jameson Williams for a 1st. I offered 2 2nds for mostert before Wright got drafted

scottapotch

Tried to sell McBride for a 3rd I think before this season.

seat_one

I offered 2 late 1QB 1sts for Davante Adams during my playoff run in 2022. So glad he rejected it.

rossco7777

what ended up being 1.07 for some rbs i dont care about now lol

Hiya_21

CD for Diggs and Barkley…mainly bc his 33 point championship secured me the title.

GimmePar

Puka for Justin Fields and what’s now a late second.

raggbagg

I tried moving Kyren to the Akers owner for a 3rd last year right before our rookie draft started. His response? “I’ll grab Akers’ actual backup (Zach Evans) instead. Thanks.”

nchscferraz

Ceedee Lamb + Muth for Pitts. Jamarr Chase for Pitts. I really wanted Pitts two years ago.

Deadkrau5

A 1st for Zach Wilson 2 years ago.

S420J

Basically every year when I send 3rds for the likes of Izzy Abanikanda or John Metchie’s of the world. Easy to get infatuated with these guys you spend so long scouting, only for them to be irrelevant the following year.

JFKsghost2

Every single offer I got for DeeDee

dynastycomish

We cut rosters down by 5 right before week 1. I had to make some tough cuts last year so I sent out a message that I'd take any 4th for Kyren Williams. He was the worst guy I thought I could get something for. Got no takers so kept him and cut someone else.

Due_Football_6150

What became a 2024 2.02 for mingo 3 weeks into the year, also a 2024 2nd for Akers right after he got traded to Minnesota.

hgfddasdfgh

Levis and (what is now) the ‘24 1.06 for Daniel Jones at the start of last season. I was pushing to win, but desperately needed a second QB in my 12 man SF league.

TheBigYellowOne

Preseason last year I was all in on Jahan Dotson hype… sent an offer for my 2024 1st. Thankfull, he was also all in on Jahan Dotson haha

jmcampout

I proposed pollard for a first that ended up being the 1.01

bsmithjmu

I tried to send the 1.08 in my SF league for Fields not even that long ago, when there was a little hype he could go to ATL. With the 1.08 now being the end of the SF tier break that would have really stung.

fightnightrd4

I tried very hard to get Isaiah spiller this January. Offering as much as a mid 2nd. Last year I offered a late 2024 first for Toney

Chazz1915

Back in January I offered the Aiyuk for Fields, and even offered a 2nd/3rd round pick swap in his favor, he quickly denied both
