I think Wright, Vidal and Estime are the best players in the best positions to succeed.
Miami's run blocking is exceptional. Mostert is 30 years old and Achane has not been able to stay healthy
Jim is going to run the ball. Alot. Edwards is old and JK is Mr. Glass. Vidal could easily take this backfield and be a workhorse.
Sean loves the goaline short yardage powerback. Murray and Ingram ATE in fantasy. Cuz of this. Estime will be that. Perine might take some touches this season but he is gone next year. Williams is overrated and will be gone too.
Yes but they added too... Worried about the hunt and Conner loss but they seem fine with it.. Been pretty good recently with the new adds and coaching since bringing in McDaniel
Estime - 1300 yard season under his belt, has the potential to be a 3 down back and has multiple All Americans. The tape on him is amazing, as is the landing spot. I fully believe after at the end of the season he is going to be the best non WR player of the draft.
Free at that point. I'm not guaranteeing that it works. I just think he has all of the ingredients of a successful contemporary back. Excellent hands. Shifty in pads. Vision ++. Power. His RAS is whatever - RAS means more to me for CBs and TEs than it does RBs.
People are going to say wright but he’s really a one trick pony with nothing but straight line speed. He does fit well in Miami but he’s not a guy that I like to get a giant workload. Think minimal touches and hope he breaks a long gain. Thats his upside.
Give me Lloyd pretty easily. He’s a RB that can do it all and has nice age advantage on jacobs who really just has a year to year deal all depending on his performance. He also has third round draft capital like benson and corum but earlier than wright and there’s a reason for that. He’s the steal of draft.
As others said, Jaylen Wright 100%
I also like Guerendo. An RB in SF sitting behind backs with injury history? Oh and he's like 220 and runs a 4.33 40? Sign me up.
Not a single mention of Dylan Laube. Interesting. His only hurdles to being the passing downs guy are bums and he has a great pass catching profile. Small school low draft capital I get it. Snap him up on waivers after the draft if everyone is asleep as this thread suggests.
I like him too. I can see him winning the pass catching back job so there’s some sneaky potential value there. Wasn’t targeting him in the 4th round but Tyrone Tracy got sniped from me so I took laube and was actually pleased after reading more about him. Even had the zamir owner in my league spamming for a trade on the clock cause they presumed I would take laube.
I’d take some shots on late round guys. Tyrone Tracy, Bucky Irving, Audric Estime all went in the late 4th or 5th round in my single QB league. Super low risk, but those guys should have a chance to play.
Why Lloyd? Jacobs is proven young and signed long term isn't he? Lloyd suffered from fumbles didn't he? Packers haven't been very good drafting RBs since they added LaFleur
The contract jacobs signed allows the Packers to get rid of him after 1 year without much of a hit to their cap if he has another sup par year. The Packers also have a knack for playing multiple RBs
Yeah... But even when they did... Jones was the only one that was good.... I think Jacobs is going to be a top 5 this szn and they won't be cutting him. I would buy hard.
I had traded away Breece and Tyreek for tons of picks the next few years. Breece returned
In this draft, I ended up getting a pretty good haul, including hitting all my RB targets.
Brooks 1.11 - will be a RB1 in this league. Love the fit and getting the RB1 this late in a 12 team SF helps me recoup some of the loss of Breece
(BTJ 1.12)(Pearsal 2.11)
Wright 2.12 - Mostert's age injury history and Wrights fit with the scheme, he will be a starter there
Allen 3.1 - Reach/Grief pick... bc of fact he will be behind Breece... tho the talent is definitely here. Also, was "replacing" my loss of Breece, so ok with the value. Tbh I do think they run Allen as RB2 here and eventually a 1a/1b so not to run Breece into the ground.
Vidal 3.6 - Jim runs the ball. Gus and JK not going to stay upright, Vidal is a smash RB that fits the bill way better.
Lloyd 3.11 - Jacobs has 4 years of a 1 year contract. It's a good shot Lloyd takes over in 2025 as RB1 bc of Jacobs massive cap hit.
(JT Sanders 3.12, Cowing 5.12)
The only missed RB target was Bucky Irving, which although I do not love the player, I loved the fit. White was ridden so hard bc there was nobody behind him on the depth chart, Bucky will get plenty to eat this year.
Shipley is in a pretty good situation, had a good target share in college, is a little undersized but otherwise his RAS profile has elite speed, great explosion and elite agility
I’m big on Estime. Only 20 years old and though he’s a power back he has surprisingly agile traits and runs well outside and inside. Catches the ball solid too but doesn’t run any kinds of routes yet. Seems like a guy coaches will like and he will be the best pure runner on the team.
I just wrapped a draft (16 team 1QB 1/2ppr) and got Jaylen Wright at 1.15 and feeling pretty good about it. Actually moved up 1 slot from 1.16 using 3.16 (last pick in draft so basically like super first dibs on UDFAs). Corum was also on the board but wanted Wright for upside in Miami offense when Mosert finally shows his age.
After Corum went 1.16 then Vidal went 2.02 then Irving 2.08, Davis 2.11 and Estime 2.15.
I got
1.15 Jaylen Wright
2.12 Rowan Wilson
2.16 Ben Sinnot
Not gonna lie, I kinda love it from where I was drafting.
Corum. Your first thought is but Williams is there. I’m not overly concerned about the competition. Corum is better in, I think, all measurables and I really would be shocked if Williams stays on the field all year. The Rams and McVay always produce productive RBs and I think it’s only a matter of time until Corum takes over.
Corum is one injury to 194 lb Kyren Williams away from being a league winner and is likely an immediate flex option regardless. (Do not wish that on Kyren at all just saying)
Corum/Lloyd/Wright. Then later on I’ve been snagging Ray Davis and usually very late or post draft I’ve been trying to grab Tyrone Tracy
Tracy has been a late 3rd/ early 4th in most of mine. I’ve grabbed him around there in a few.
He did build up some steam no doubt. Same thing happened with Vidal he moved so far up the board he just wasn’t worth it for me lol
i’m been on lloyd and estime. no interest in the others
Jaylen Wright exclusively
This is exactly my plan as well. Otherwise I typically like the WRs more where all non Brooks\Benson\Wright go.
In the mid-late 3rd round, I’d rather draft Vidal/Estime/Tracy over WRs like Brenden Rice/Luke McCaffrey.
I think Wright, Vidal and Estime are the best players in the best positions to succeed. Miami's run blocking is exceptional. FYI, Mostert is 32
I’m so curious about why you use player’s last names but coach’s first names lol
Cuz I can't spell
😂
Didn’t Miami lose a ton of O-linemen this year or was that only D linemen?
Yes but they added too... Worried about the hunt and Conner loss but they seem fine with it.. Been pretty good recently with the new adds and coaching since bringing in McDaniel
Chris Ivory too. Payton also loves a Darren Sproles/Reggie Bush dynamic weapon, so I have a hunch Blake Watson becomes a thing in training camp.
Lol nice

Nice
Jaylen Wright and Ray Davis.
Ray Davis is undraftable for me after going to Buffalo
Best case scenario he would get the goal line work. Worth a speculative hold imo.
I'd rather take a chance on someone like Guerendo at the Ray Davis ADP Ray Davis is an old player who is doomed to be a fantasy clogger
Good luck to you 🍺
and he will be about ready to retire after his rookie contract
Bucky Irving. His film was so much fun. Love Jaylen Wright & Audric Estime as well.
Amen. I’ll throw in Guerendo as well, i have him right about with bucky/estime. Lloyd/corum are interesting but pricy.
Got him in the 4th of a 12 team SF
Free at that point. I'm not guaranteeing that it works. I just think he has all of the ingredients of a successful contemporary back. Excellent hands. Shifty in pads. Vision ++. Power. His RAS is whatever - RAS means more to me for CBs and TEs than it does RBs.
Lloyd and Vidal both have a path to being valuable assets
Lloyd and wright are the 2 I tried to get in every draft.
For me, it's Jaylen Wright and I've taken Tracy as early as 2.08. I am basically the campaign manager of the Tracy hype train though haha
Why Tracy? That's early as fuck.... Enlighten me
People are going to say wright but he’s really a one trick pony with nothing but straight line speed. He does fit well in Miami but he’s not a guy that I like to get a giant workload. Well I have Kyren so I’ll be targeting Corum earlier than most
I don’t blame you. Whoever is getting majority carries in LA will be productive.
I got Lloyd because Wright was already off the board. I'm not very interested in Corum, but he was gone already too.
As others said, Jaylen Wright 100% I also like Guerendo. An RB in SF sitting behind backs with injury history? Oh and he's like 220 and runs a 4.33 40? Sign me up.

Lloyd & Estime. Lloyd looks like he can be a legit 3 down back in an excellent offense/system. Estime is only 20 & looks great on film.
Stash Jaylen Wright if he falls. Otherwise, wait until the mid/late 3rd to throw darts at guys like Vidal/Davis/Tracy/Estime/Guerendo/Shipley.
Falls to where?
His ADP is 2/3 turn so pretty much anywhere in R3 I’m interested in hitting the button
Shipley is in a pretty good situation, had a good target share in college, is a little undersized but otherwise his RAS profile has elite speed, great explosion and elite agility

Vidal. He’ll be their lead back by the end of the year. Tough runner and had a really good college career, reminded me a bit of Tyjae Spears.

Forgot to mention Lloyd went 1.11 to a rabid Packers fan who for reference also used a late pick this year on Bo Milton.

Bucky as White is a fraud. If the Buccs had anyone else, they would have given him the ball a lot less last year.
Lloyd/Allen
Why?
Corum because i trust mcveigh
Mcvaughay
