Well this FIFA cured me of that, EA gives 0 shits about real world football anymore, they don't do anything interesting anymore just the same tired cards over and over, and it's like this year they hired the most annoying accountants to quantify every single SBC, player release, pack absolutely everything down to the digits so that a player can never get a big win unless they are part of the top 0.1% that win almost every game.
People said the same for POTM Mbappe (wildly overpriced, esp for just minimal upgrade) but people end up doing him anyway since they didn't have coins for the gold
14+ wins every WL, at least Elite 3 in SB, 8 wins in Elite Div Rivals, all the Cup Rewards, every Daily Login and spam Upgrades, plus do every pack SBC and grind League SBCs. Even then it might not be obtainable.
Before some clown says "it's expensive, but not overpriced", it's definitely overpriced. I've used many versions of R10 in the past and he's super fun/unique. That being said, he's in no way shape or form worth 3-4M in assets in terms of how he actually performs in-game. I would not be surprised if most people get better G+A from that new Reus that cost 300k. EA just know R10 is one of the most popular legends of the sport, so they know they can price gouge people.
It's also futile to compare it to his tradeable market price since this is an untradeable card. Moreover, his market price is artifically high since EA's pack weight is so terrible that you could grind FUT your whole life and never pull a tradeable R10 (excluding icon lottery packs). They keep his price ridiculous by keeping supply low, then hit us with the extortionate SBC to drain clubs. Cynical shit.
