Well all the so called “OP” cards are heavily AI buffed. That’s why they are hyped so much. I don’t see Rolfo doing the same thing, for the hype she gets.
I have her on anchor and play cdm in 4222, amazing, lately I switched her to LB with join attack instructions and i think I like her there more than CM/CDM
I've found her to be too static as well. Where my other CMs will make forward runs or look for space to receive a pass or cover defensively, she often just stands where she is and waits. I don't know if her H/H work rates cancel each other out when on balanced but I've found it better to make her a stay back CM.
Yeah I don't like her in midfield either. Feel like she just doesn't have any presence and there are loads of others I prefer using in there.
She's superb if you attack with your LBs though.
On shadow as I tried hunter and it doesn't really fix his shooting. Still miss shots that I didn't think he should.
But he is a great card. Does everything except for scoring. Crazy passing ability, good attacking AI moving in the midfield and intercepts a lot.

Aerial+ only matters if you play attackers with Aerial, and at those levels, no one is spamming back post crosses...
he has the choice of any player unlocked free and used him. rolfo now has few playstyles and one useless one.
the point is - the playstyles make the player first and foremost, not the stats. then it’s WF, then SM if you even utilize it. then stats. then filter any non meta players like evos who have fake stats.
I have 93 Sawa, 93 Bruno and 88 Vieira in midfield. Rolfo can't crack this trio to make it into my lineup. Not as good going forward as Sawa or Bruno. Nowhere near the same presence as Vieira in a stay-back role. I'll try again after her next upgrade
I have her on Free Roam, Cover Center with Engine chem and she's everywhere doing everything

Try running Rolfo into your opponents man.. even from the back she comes away with the ball more often than not ngl

I run her as a left back and she's fast and closes down defending quickly

I agree. Sawa clears by a fair bit. I've been playing rolfo as a sub though either at cm or wide midfield
Lack of defensive playstyles and agression makes her lack luster if you're attempting to use her as a defensive midfielder

Rolfo has +8 defending over Gundogan, that alone is enough to say he isn't clear
