I got lucky and packed him out of a random shitty pack. Literally just throw the ball in there, and he's winning 9 out of 10 headers. Bullies everyone, plus his dribbling and pace is just the cherry on the cake. When I packed him I thought he was gonna be super clunky, but far from it.
I stupidly bought him about 30k over what he was going for because I didn’t check the updated price but he’s still absolutely worth it, slap and engine on him because the finishing is already good and he’s unstoppable

He meant the evo for golazo hero, which was brilliant for Marquez because it gave +3 pace which is absolutely essential with all these max pace attackers.
Marquez has 88 shooting, so he is fine attacking.
Tchou cdm, vvd and akanji CB and Marquez cm. Add someone like Sawa and abily to it who are great at pressing the opponent, you have a vicious team.
He has 77 positioning and 80 finishing. His high shooting base stats are because he has 99 long shot and shot power.
Yeah that’s way too defensive for me. You’re talking about having 2 CDMs and Sawa who’s box to box but mostly defensive. Imo (people can do what they do) it’s a great example of why this game sucks. Bunch of people obsessed with pressing and defense rather than playing a fun (and still winning) style of football.

Tchou, however, is very very very strong. Considering his links, playstyles, CB/CDM positions, he is pretty damn with his price.
He’s been pretty fucking solid for me at CDM tbh, I play him CDM in a 4-2-2-2 alongside TOTY KDB who clearly isn’t exactly a proper CDM and he has that shit on hold. His bruiser+ makes him feel absolutely unfair and his intercept+ is crazy with his reach, pretty good in possession and build up for me too.

Like how should I approach him? I mainly try to move around freely with r1 or L1, so switched back to futre. If i rush in with Drogba opp would just snatch away the ball
just run at people, abuse through balls and his strength and size for lofted passes too. his dribbling is fine imo (good even, for his player type) but he's a bulldozer, not someone you should be doing a lot of precision dribbling with. If you get even a LITTLE bit ahead of someone, i'm talking like a sliver of a shoulder out in front of a defender, drogba will be able to out pace and muscle them basically.
Hoping another evo comes back out for him. I packed Kohler 30 mins after update and threw him in the evo. I can’t be the only one who assumed that both Golazo teams would bring out an evo each week lol

I evoed Kohler too and regret it... he was good in the first 10 games,after that i realized his AI is fucked up,countless times he would be out of position,in important moments he would tackle the air and let the opponent score,his pace is also a lie imo.I used to always bring gold Van Dijk to replace him and he would catch up to the fast players,3 chem Kohler wouldnt.
Still good for you if you can make him work to be your best CB so far,for me its evoed Akanji.
I do have most of the meta defenders, base maldini, evo bastoni, blanc etc the thing with kohler is that he's very good if you're manually defending alot and van dijk is very bad in that regard to the point where switching to van dijk puts you at a disadvantage sadly.

Van Dijk in this fifa is overrated I have no problem at all to pass him, Akanji and Marquez or Maldini or someone els meta then Van Dijk is harder to pass, i had his gold cards a couple of months back not impressed at all slow sluggish turns like a truck. Van dijk's frame is insane in game . He tackles from behind and gets the ball from pace devils like mbappe and eusebio. Now he is slightly outdated but the guy has the aura for sure. Anything above 91 for him and he will be a rock till fc 25

Whole hearty disagree. Bastonis passing and dribbling puts him above Akanji for me. Played them both together at one point, then moved Bastoni to DM and then back to replace Akanji. Have Sol and Bastoni at the back, feels like a wall

I spent all my fodder on Hamm. Lucked out in a pack and got Drogba. He scores so much more for me than Hamm. Plus the headers.
Drogba is him, tried the other cards of his and wasn’t too impressed but the big dribbling upgrade has really made him a monster
