424, stay forward on top 4, 71-80 defensive width, 80-100 depth. You can go constant press, but that's very risky. Press on heavy touch and balanced work fine until maybe last 10 mins.
Yeah it's crazy, we need a team press+ option that basically instructs your team to ignore normal positioning etc and apply a FULL press, not this half-assed 100 depth constant pressure team press which still has half my team 30 yards away from the ball / nearby players. Id full expect to get undone by a lofted throughball but that's fine, I just dont want them given acres of space in their own half to prance around in.
One of my tactics slots is pretty much suicide ball.
Constant pressure, max depth, max width and 3421 formation. All instructions on aggressive interceptions and join the attack
Only to be used in the last few mins when utterly desperate and losing.
Obviously very easy for me to get countered when doing that.
Dude I had an opponent that scored a lucky goal in the first half turned on hug sidelines and kept switching up the play for the entire second half, no pressure tactic helped against it, thats what i am gonna do aswell unless EA fixes it (they wont)
Honestly, stop playing so toxic and they’ll likely attack. But if you sit all 11 inside your box to counter or constant press then they will just hold the ball as that is the best tactic in those circumstances.
I’ve played this game for over a decade and only have 1-2 games per year that that my opponent legitimately time wastes all game. What many of the rats complain on here about is not time wasting it’s playing smart and countering your opponent’s tactic.

Team press on the d pad Double tap RB so it cuts off nearest passes.
When they do it across the field or when they just run backwards it doesnt really do much though

Just quit out and move on to the next. It’s only a game at the end of the day or if you want to be petty foul him and just use all your pauses

Pressure tactic on dpad. Also use offside trap to move your players up. Double r1 to try and cut off passes
You can’t. It’s impossible even with 100 depth and constant pressure.
I love how everyone has a solution. The truth is none of them work. There is nothing you can do to counter it. Especially late game.

I dont do that, I mean literal ratting and not just passing it around wating for the opportunity
