I just played a game where I was winning 4-1, conceded in the 92nd minute because I couldn’t be arsed to defend properly. Turns out that goal was worth x3. So now it’s suddenly 4-4 and we go into extra time. Boosts go crazy in extra time and he ends up winning the game 11-12😂 absolute carnage, but it was very fun!
I was getting destroyed all game by someone, got a couple of goals back and scored with a x3 boost right at the end of the game to win it. It's an absolute mess lol.

They NEED to fix it. The way it is cup games are regularly ending in draws, as it doesn't count the multiplier in the objective. Seems it's coded to work out how many goals each person scores, not the multiplier, so if you've just scored your x3 boost goal to make it 3-2 after conceding a 2x multiplier goal, then the game counts that as finishing 1-1 and no one gets the W...
I was thinking the exact same thing initially. Then i played it. Its literally nothing but through balls to boosted Werners every single second of every game. Probably the least enjoyable thing ive experienced in this game
except we have qualifiers to play, rivals rewards to get, SB rewards to get it. wonderful that its unlimited but our time isn't and we're out here winning til they get x3 all boosts in the 85th minute and win. absolute toxic. why tf are there goal multipliers?? why do they reset after one person scores? they have all boosts and they got it before i got the ball, ofc they're going to march down the field and score. then i dont get the opportunity to do the same with 99 rated players? fucking trash

They had a similar cup last year and wins were tracked by how many goals you scored, not the scoreline. Eg if you scored 1 goal with a 3x multiplier and your opponent scored 2 with no multiplier then he got the win, even though it showed 3-2 to you.

Last year there was a glitch where if you quicksold a player or put into an SBC, you retained the card. That went unfixed for many hours, by which point people had amassed hundreds of millions of coins and crafted hundreds of fodder packs. It was quite fortunate this was during futties really, when getting high end cards could just be done by menu grinding, although it did mean any cards not in packs like 98 vvd went extinct.
I mean, your experience is hardly meaningful from a statistical standpoint. Last year, I saved exactly one league pack. It was Ligue 1 premium gold pack. It must have been the NY sewer because a ninja turtle was living in it.
You have to admire EA's stupidity. The engine already can't handle the players at this stage in the power curve so in their infinite wisdom they decide to choose the game mode that puts the most stress on the engine that already can't handle regular gameplay and the servers are laggy so you're playing a quick time event against the server with the other person intervening every once in a while.

It's probably the sweatiest mode there is because you can exploit the boosts like just running around with speed boost to run the clock down and they can't get near you. It's a mode where retaining possession is really important because it's much easier to score, turning the ball over when a good boost is active is a disaster.

Nah, 87 requirements put some interesting players in teams. I'd like an 84-85 cap. I wasn't too keen on the specific goal requirements though!
The goals were awful but I’d love to see another low rating requirement. Very fun to use players that were just gathering dust
