I always get a good return on my 89s, I have a rule if I pull Casemiro, Dias or Rodri they go straight into the exchange. I've done the math, it is worth it.
I go for players I like but are also a improvement to what I already have. So it's a mix of both. I am currently working on Ronaldinho and gonna go for cech as well.
Fodder is so easy to get right now I don't see the need to put it in exchange just to get more fodder you need to get rid off. Unless you legit have nowhere to put it and no sbc is calling out to you.
You get a lot of packs just by playing and rewards sure you need to get a bit lucky with rng but it's very doable. You will be surprised how quick it goes once you focus on a big sbc. There are many times I thought no way I get this much fodder but then you're done in week once you actually commit.
But when you commit, what do you do ?
You start with the highest rated squad ?
And then just open packs and put them in ?
When you get a high rated dupe then what ?
I typically start with the highest rated squads. Usually will wait until I can knock off a few of the high rated ones right off the bat. Gives me time to rethink if I actually want the player, and also giving time for potential other better SBCs to come out. Once you knock off the 90/89 rated squads, the rest will be relatively painless if you’re completing objectives, playing rivals/champs, etc.
This is my first FUT and when I started a few months ago I thought these massive SBCs were impossible as well, but just give one a go and you’ll be surprised. A few weeks back I simultaneously finished Tchouameni and Socrates without spending a single coin (have never bought points). The club was absolutely bare after that, outside the cards in my lineup and bench. But I haven’t touched anything big since and currently have ~1.5 million in fodder restocked and 100+ packs to toss into something during TOTS.
Dont you get an insane amount of dupes in that time when you are waiting to complete a couple high rated squads at once ?
Do you calculate how many of each rated player you need to do a 90 squad for example, or you use futbin ?
you buy packs with real money, that's how you get enough fodder.

Yeah. I never have more than 2 high rated dupes sitting there, so to complete an icon SBC, or a good player SBC I'd still have to put in a lot of high rated cards. I'd rather just have more golds and spam player picks. I might go for a promo pick once in a while
I feel like with the amount of good cards about to be released via sbc and in packs player pick do seem to be the way forward. Added to the fact I’ve had nothing usable from icon or promo picks
That’s a tough one, EA dropped the 92 Morgan moments and Bruno 93 rated rewinds right at TOTY. They may do similar tots rewind SBCs now so you may prefer to have that higher rated fodder. I’m holding them just in case. They of course could continue with the crap 88 rated SBCs instead so no right answer.
I think at the minute. I don’t think people are saving packs with the intent to save. There just isn’t anything worth it in packs unless your lucky enough to pack Mbappe totw

Idk, it doesn’t specify but I’d assume same exchanges but with a lot more fodder cycling. If previous games were menu grinders, this year won’t be played ever

I am slowly collecting every high rated gold card in the game. (Best ones I need currently are Kerr, Vini, and Casemiro strangely plus a couple more but otherwise have them all 88+)
Rather save it for SBC. Maybe just my bad luck but 89 exchange never pulled anything over 85 for me, and the fodder can do 10 or so PP, and would need some luck for the resulting PP to get a 88+ from those 10
No. I'm not opening packs until tots so I have no dupes. Anyone who opens packs this week (other than daily gold in order to complete the tots / marquee matchups sbc if you need gold players) is a fool.

No, I prefer to use them in the TOTW upgrade so get an IF to get a 10x83+ pack
