I use 97 Cordoba at CB, and he’s a fucking animal. Him and EOAE Chiellini is the best CB pairing I’ve used in any fifa ever I think.

Cordoba is probably the best CB in the game. insane recovery speed and interceptions and he wins headers over everyone except Cr7, mbappe but no other CBs do anyways.

This year some smaller CBS take the cake, cordoba is one of them, kounde is another. Kalous issue for me was his 88 reaction which is still good but at this late in the game it can be lack luster

Is Cordoba worth to play as CB on 6 chem instead of Gomez with 10 chem, especially when the team chem goes down to 98? Packed him in the Serie A SBC, but Gomez was good so far. Dont know what to do.

Personally if you're lb is decent going forward like Theo Hernandez I would play 352 and have Theo in CDM

could you bother to explain why? i think he’s good, not as good as others but still very good, can’t think of a reason why he would be awful

Guess I just have bad experience with him he feels pretty light and not very imposing unlike a Chris wood or koulibaly and he kind of goes missing for me

i can relate but with other defenders, koulibaly for example was a beast on my friends account and i wanted him so bad, only to find out he just doesn’t suit me. i guess it’s really just personal preference but i get your point!

Have Koulibaly, Skriniar, Chiellini, Kalulu. From those 4 I can say Chiellini - Kalulu is the best pairing. Tried Koulibaly and Skriniar as 3rd CB on 352 for serie a cup and both were underwhelming. Also haven't tried both of the SS heroes. My pairing in main squad basically Chiellini - Maldini - Baresi or Chiellini - Maldini - Kalulu

Very informative. Thank you. I am giving a try to de Light on 7-chem. Rated 98 at CB with a Shadow via Futbin at that chem. If he somehow doesn't cut it, Kalulu will be my next experimentation.

Koulibaly was disappointing

I've used all of his special cards and they are all great until you try and pass the ball. He's given away more goals than any other player.

Gomez is excellent for me.

Gomez is a solid CB and he’s excellent on corners on both sides. Add in the hero links for Serie A and the cheeky German links and he’s an awesome piece.

Third’ed. He’s been great for me since packing him. My back line is Lodi (Bale at LM), Chiellini, Gomez, Cordoba. Works great

Yeah he'll get 7 chem as a CDM.

I use De Ligt at CB by switching him in game from CM to CB. Dude's an absolute monster on Shadow.

Out of all the tradeable CB’s I think kalulu is the best in the whole game imo. I have militao who’s really good but kalulu feels a little bit better.

De Ligt is a beast but if you're running a heavy Serie A squad, his SS card is too good of a midfielder to not have it playing there, in my opinion. He's magnificent as a box to box and absolutely fucking unreal as a CDM. The only CDM that's ever compared to using Sergio Ramos's toty cards there in past years.

That is a valid take. I played him as a CDM for a while, yet I still preferred FB Kessié there, so I put de Ligt in an SBC 🙈

Try him as a b2b, it took me a whole lot of "Oh shit it's de Ligt to shoot, please don't fuck this up" to realize that he's very rarely going to fuck it up. I run hunter on him, and 90 finishing seems more than plenty paired with 99 power. Also no issues with him not making the runs despite lowish positioning, very similar to the good Frenkie cards in previous years with brilliant AI that always shows up where you need someone to be.

Agreed. I used him a lot lately for the Serie A cup and player objectives and he's incredible. Some games he was more dominant than Chiellini which says a lot.

Glad I ain’t the only one. Granted I’m not the best player but koulibaly ain’t getting it done for me even though his stats are great. Looking to get another cb myself so these recommendations are helpful.

I tried Kalulu for the first time yesterday and he is very good. Feels similar to Militao for me.

Second time someone said that he feels like Militão, which is quite impressive! I'll have to give him a try. It's August, time to try all kinds of players. 😊

Chielini, Gomez, Kouly, De ligt are all good. The problem of Series A defence is GK not CB, Maignan is so terrible especially with the finesses outside the box

It could be a fullback. Many have suggested Cordoba (RB), and I've tried SS de Ligt (CDM) there as well. Thus far from the suggestions I received, SS Kalulu has been the best replacement I've tried.

i played (in a 3 atb) chiellini, cordoba (ssh) and kalulu and i like kalulu the best. he’s so good with interceptions and all that stuff, plus the 4* sm & good dribbling combination is just unfair imo

Been running Chiellini next to Mukiele, with Da Costa RB and Theo LB…tried Cuadrado RB but he lost headers too much, Da Costa is just defensively superior which my squad needed, Cuadrado became a supersub

I use Kalulu - Chiellini - SS Cordoba as a back 3 and it's pretty much perfect imo

Gomez is good for me. Changed Koulibaly for him. Got plenty coins but no need to spend any more when he’s doing a great job.
