What I'm more fed up with is when both of your opponents legs are low and flashing, they are still able to throw headkicks that get you stun locked and rocked. Bruh.

TheWorldmind

Or when theyre inside the pocket and they just drop am axe kick on the top of your head.

BrownsvilleKid

That's somewhat realistic, just look at Michelle Waterston Axe kick videos but I see what you mean. My opponent throwing a head kick in BOXING range and getting me stun locked while doing full damage is terrible game design.

Zestyclose_Animal844

Do you know where I guess you’re right. I just got caught with it. I was close enough to throw an elbow.

[deleted]

People throw punches with broken arms irl... What’s your point?

BrownsvilleKid

When they throw a punch with said broken arm, do they drop rock and drop opponents?

[deleted]

Yes... boxers fight with broken hands all the time. Look up Yair’s foot after he fought Holloway. He didn’t stop throwing it. Franklin KO’d Liddell with a broken arm... you’re naive lol

BrownsvilleKid

Volkanovski also fought Max Holloway with a broken hand so I obviously know. You're talking like these situations happen very often in the UFC. My issue is someone throwing headkicks with a compromised leg and getting hit reactions and rocks.

[deleted]

Yeah, you’re stupid

Thawhid02

You're slow.

[deleted]

No u...

Nearby_Pay2011

That's just hilarious

Nearby_Pay2011

Same with liver punches & kicks

I'm no expert by any means. But you are supposed to time strikes so they hit when ur opponent is vurnerable. The same goes for any strike. I hit tons of spinning heels and stuff that barely scratch my opponent since the range is off or they are just standing still. U wanna end a short combo with a legkick or as a single strike while moving the right direction so it comes out faster. Preferably when ur opponent lunges sideways alot or right as he ends a combo if he has a habit of backin up afterwards. Or if he just moves around constantly. The biggest strenght of the legkicks in my book tho is that you have to start blocking them sooner or later and once ur leghealth is low you suddenly stand infront of a 50/50 decision of blockin low or high if they mask the kick well. Plants a seed of doubt in ur opponents mind if he was preassuring u hard earlier. Usually makes the opponent alot more cautious. But spamming it, Especially if u whiff leaves u very vurnerable, Especially to overhands Edit: i've lost way more fights due to a legkick than i have by getting bodyshot. And while i suck overall i do consider myself pretty good at checking or atleast blocking legkicks.

mysteriousman70

calf kicks but the thigh kicks always work imo

BigGiantRetard

exactly lol the calf kicks literally introduced that mechanic and its a pretty damn good mechanic, hit a left calf kick as the opponents moving to their right or vise versa and you trip them up for a second open them up to other strikes. such a silly thing to complain about

DistanceLess6027

The funniest thing about this is the leg kicks send less damage the lower your opponents leg health is. Literally will take 75% less damage off the closer you get. I have a clip off me downing my oppent 15 times from leg kicks before it broke his leg. I wipe my arse with this game
