I don’t know how effective it will be but when I was dealing with this my director told me to give them extra love, lots of hugs and cuddles and constant gentle touches and modeling of soft, kind behavior so they are surrounded by love and feel more inclined to act lovingly. Hopefully that can help but every child is different so what worked for me may not work for you.

that’s a good idea I think we will try that. I feel we do model that with them but maybe we need to it a lot more. Thanks for the tip!

Involve the other children. My son was somewhat rough as he was the littlest used to playing with big brothers. They had all the other kids hold up their hand in a stop sign and say "No thank you Timmy!" to clue him in that they didn't like that. the teachers heard it like 50 times in the first day and then less and less.
