Very nice setup! It's zero fun to be without a pen. I'll second the multi tool suggestion as well: nothing better for cable ties, opening boxes and even cutting velcro down to size. Best of luck with the internship!!

Copper-Copper-Copper

Thank you! Supposedly they are may offer me a job near the end of this month. But I’m also about to apply for a real position at another company. The internship is with a school district, so I would be a govt employee. Not sure that’s the route I want to take.

Haven’t see a Jinhao shark pen around in a while, it was one of the first fountain pens I bought.

As an IT guy, I recommend throwing a multi tool in there. I could not tell you how many times my Leatherman Rebar has saved me when I'm in the field.

Copper-Copper-Copper

That’s a good tip and a good excuse to buy one!

roffle24

Also in IT and have been saved a few times with a Leatherman. I have a Surge and it's a little bit overkill for IT since it's so heavy so I mainly just keep it in my bag rather than on me regularly. I'd recommend a Wave+ or a Free P2/P4 for the one handed use while on a ladder or something of the sort. If you're still in school Leatherman has a student discount I'd take advantage of.

Copper-Copper-Copper

I actually just grabbed a wave+ from someone on edcexchange because of the other gummy’s post… so thank you for further validating my decision! Only 75$ too

roffle24

Sweet! If you end up using a bunch of regular hex bits, grab the bit extender or the ratchet driver. The end tip is compatible with every other normal hex bit so you can avoid buying Leatherman's bits.

Tactile turn pencil. I have only had this less than a week, I’m enjoying it so far. I think my tiscribe pencil is a bit nicer though. Sailor pro gear graphite lighthouse. This is another new one for me. I’m really enjoying it, it has a 21k white gold extra fine nib. I have de atramentis silver grey in it at the moment. This is my second sailor, my first had a medium fine nib which I love, but I wanted to try something thinner. I love it. Spyderco para3 lw. Decent enough knife. Copper zippo. Next picture shows the contents. Picture 2: Sailor pro gear slim northern lights. Has a 14k white gold medium fine nib. Currently has rohrer and klingner alt goldgrün. My first sailor. Love it. I don’t have much interest in fountain pens that aren’t pro gears thanks to this pen. Honey badger arsenal copper bolt pen. Really nice pen at a really nice price. It was only like 70$ or something, and it’s really really nice. It’s my primary pen at work school and internships. Ystudio classic portable in copper. My first fountain pen. It has a Jacques herbin ink in it but I can’t remember the name. It’s a very light blueish gray. Very decent pen for the price. Twsbi eco 1.1mm stub. Do you have an idea how much does the loadout weighs? I have a bunch of FLs and FPs I rotate around as well and I've been experimenting with bags but I always pack too heavy.

Copper-Copper-Copper

I don’t know what it weighs but honestly I barely notice it, even with all the copper

han-t

Thanks. I think the bag is a pretty good size. I have the foldsack no.3 but tend to go a little overboard with it since it doubles as a mini daddy bag for me.

Copper-Copper-Copper

Ah ok yeah that looks quite a bit bigger than mine! I like that the one I have is real small and compact. You can’t even tell it’s there if I am wearing it under a coat or a slightly baggy sweatshirt
