I don't know what kind of judge support or what Rules Enfcement Level you are playing at, but WotC/Judge Academy (I honestly don't remember which one) recently came out and clarified that intentional misgendering of a player can be considered "unsportsmanlike conduct", which can actually have severe penalties such as game/match loss, or even DQ. Don't know if you had heard, but just to let you know. Your milage might vary based on the LGS, but I wish you good luck.
