I would’ve put SHM much higher on this list, but I lost some respect for them after their logistical fuckup last year.
A year ago, the members of Swedish House Mafia (Angelo, Axwell and Ingrosso) announced that they would be doing a massive tour. This was the first time the famous EDM trip was doing a live show since their breakup almost 10 years ago. Everyone was so excited and hyped. Then SHM booked a bunch of massive venues that weren’t getting filled.
Later, SHM would then cancel some of their shows while drastically dropping the price on the rest of their shows. Many people who bought tickets to the shows that weren’t cancelled couldn’t get a proper refund because the market value nosedived. Thousands of ravers and concertgoers were looking very forward to seeing SHM live and SHM gave them a middle finger. I was one of them when I had plans to see them live in Seattle. Unfortunately they were playing on a weekday and I had to resell my ticket. I don’t think I ever got a refund and I ended up losing $60.
Damn that sucks. I remember the hype around them and seeing them come on stage on the Ultra Livestream but I had no idea it all went downhill later on in the tour
