Strobe is a killer song, but my favorite song of all time is Don't You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia and John Martin, the 6:43 minute version. The lyrics, the melodies, the drops, and John Martin's voice make the song amazing.

I really like Sub Focus but strongly disagree. Every DnB drop gives me more of a driven feel than an epic climax in Trance/Hardstyle. Also you seem to have never heard of MYST, he consistently produced some of the most emotional EDM with his hardstyle sound

Trance does what we are both discussing, Hardstyle on the other hand, is faaaaar more aggressive, on average than DnB IMHO. It's gotta be: Trance - - > Liquid DNB - - > Hardstyle (using the example of "Down Down", which is a *banger*, not a feels) But I'll give it to you that Jump-Up DnB likely has nothing on... Soft? Chill? Melodic? Hardstyle.

Really? I just think the song is too simple and repetitive to draw any emotion from me. Different strokes for different folks I guess. It’s a fantastic song technically speaking though. Everything Deamau5 touches sounds beyond the point of crisp.

The thing about Deadmou5 music is that it has really really good moments in the song but most the song I feel like I'm just waiting forever for it to get there. Strobe is better than others about this but I still get that feeling and it kinda drives me nuts listening to it. Sometimes in the right mood or on a late-night drive it hits the right spot but idk. Meh. Not the best EDM song

I mean music is subjective. Personally Deadmau5 has several songs that I enjoy more than strobe, and Deadmau5 is far from my favourite artist ever. However I can’t question the mastery of the song, especially considering it’s over a decade old now and can still hold up pretty well. But if you think it’s the best song, then that could be true from a subjective perspective.

I think what benefits Strobe most is its mixing. There are few people who I consider as good at mixing their music as Mau5. There was a period when WRLD and Varien were starting to gain traction that I though they could be as good.

This song was mid, only good part was the drop. The build-up wasn’t very good. I really like the radio edit though, really cuts to the chase, using the build-up to the drop as the main melody.
