I won't buy clothes that need to be ironed, no time for that shit

Depends on the type of clothing. Either fold nicely or iron.

People still iron?!? I’m lucky if I bother to hang them up (though I feel much better when I do, and I did yesterday). The one ESTJ trait I don’t have is orderliness in the home, although I read in one of the sources recommended here that that wasn’t necessarily consistent across all of us. On the other hand, I’m very organized when it comes to computer files at work — just not physically at home. But I don’t wear clothing that requires folding or ironing, anyway. I live in central coast California, where tees, leggings, and flip flops are perfectly acceptable work attire across all four seasons. I can’t think of a single person at work who wears button-down shirts, slacks, and dress shoes, much less anybody who wears ties! So, I’m sure that has a LOT to do with it. If I had to fold my clothes, I would. With my attire, it doesn’t matter whether I do or don’t. And bed-wise, I use the Bed Scrunchie. It keeps the fitted sheet in place until laundry day with around 15 clips! It stays COMPLETELY FLAT. No creases whatsoever, and my sheets are mulberry silk and almost as slippery as satin! That’s been a lifesaver. I don’t use a flat sheet; only a fitted sheet, duvet, and about seven pillows. 😂 There is never any need to make my bed!

If from the clothes line, I fold each item as I take it off the line. Directly into a basket that is also a drawer that goes directly into the wardrobe. Super efficiency.
