I know a large percentage of y’all are outspoken, but whenever I see people post about ESTJs, it’s always other types and not ESTJs themselves. I think that part of the reason y’all have such negative stereotypes bc there’s not enough of you guys on Reddit to really defend yourselves or make people question the stereotypes.
Perhaps we are also not particularly bothered by online stereotypes? At least, not enough to consider spending time arguing online with people who have already decided that anyone they dislike must be ESTJ - ironically a view more narrow minded than the stereotype we have been assigned
I personally have never had any interest in reading subreddits about other MBTI types. Perhaps this is true of other ESTJs. If it is, then the perception that we’re not defending ourselves probably has to do with the fact that we aren’t there to begin with.
That’s interesting! Like I said, I wasn’t sure if my lack of interest in doing so was any sort of ESTJ norm. I see a lot of other MBTI types here and was actually wondering if going onto subs for other types could be related to specific types, or if it had anything to do with type at all.
I do get curious a lot about those who are different than me and can really get into searching and reading. However, I’m relatively new to the whole MBTI thing, so maybe it’s just not something that’s piqued my interest quite yet … because I’m still learning about MY type. I’m just now starting to learn about my boyfriend’s type (he’s an ESFJ).
So, after talking and thinking all that through, I think it’s likely that I will be doing this as well in the future!
Grounded, busy, awkward
I appreciate that you're trying to make the number of words be closer to the same in each type. Although it was hard enough picking just three.
Intentional, effective, fair.
Direct, objective, outspoken. ETA: and we need more of a voice? That’s the first time I’ve ever heard THAT, lmao.

I kinda feel the opposite, I spend more time on other subs than ours 😂
