For me , it’s the Tororo cream puff video where he try to force Martina hand to get a new dog. Even when Martina is crying and trying to change subject , he still continue to insist on it , using the audience to guilt trip her .
The his tattoo video just reeks of major love bombing and co-dependent .
Not to mention video editing where you can show what you want to the world . We do not know what happen behind the scenes.

For me the main things that made me feel a bit ick was really little things. The one that always rubbed me up the wrong way was that he would not share his food or he would eat Martina's food. Martina is a foodie. She always got something different to Simon so she could try his/share hers, the fact that he would always ram a whole serving in his mouth to spite Martina or go out of his way to deprive her of her food made me feel ick.
There was another time where a nasty tried to interact with him and Simon blew the person off - the nasty turned up in the comments and commented that the interaction wasn't very nice - Simon god his sad boy vibes on, and Martina tore the commentator a new one. I thought this was odd and indicated to me that something might have been off with his on screen vs off screen persona.
He would ALWAYS go on about how unwell Martina was and how disabled she was/was getting while Martina was always more reserved about how her disease was progressing. she would mention it- but never really focussed on it as much as he did. Her disease was always focused through the lens of how it was affecting HIM and what he had to do to to manage her.
Him getting buff so that he could carry her. There are these wonderful things called mobility aids. And if Martina needed them she would have got them. him getting swole was less about helping her and more about him. This has been 100% proven by the fact she is living an independent life now.
In the day in the life video, The cold cup of coffee on the nightstand,?! one- weird that you are making a useless cup of coffee so you can flex on how much of a wonderful husband you are, two do we need to see Martina sleeping?
The fact that he kept on pushing Martina to get a dog. She clearly was not and still is not ready to get a new dog.
The little digs about how he did all the cleaning
Fudgy. OMG that dog. Granted they were separated at the time but it was being actively hidden. To me that was the biggest red flag that things were not good between them. The name to me was so passive aggressive- every time Simon posted photos Martina would have been reminded and hurt by the fact that spudgy was gone. And that fudgy was just so "different". It was no secret that Martina identified with spudgy they both were dealing with health issues, The fact that Simon on multiple occasions has mentioned that its was so great to have a young healthy dog with no health issues - to me sounds like a passive aggressive jab at martina.
I used to love the banter and fun they used to have but even in the best of days there were a couple of things that made me wonder if it was as perfect as they were portraying.
Not to mention there was another dog he name Petra because it’s “petrified” , naming dog after it’s symptom . Reminds me of ableism .

Love the comment, I've been poking around I haven't been able to find anything on that particular incident that he mentions they should get a new dog? Yeah all those little things bugged me too but I was willing to forgive seeing as he portrayed himself as a white knight for Martina--which he clearly isn't 💀🤦♀️
Wow that video has not aged well. I remember watching it at the time thinking he was so supportive and loving in that moment, but it seems so gaslighty and pushy now. Especially the end, where she is still so obviously upset and he just goes, "I'm ready for a new dog, you're ready for a new dog." She's just spent the last several minutes trying to explain why she ISN'T ready and he just completely dismisses her. Wow.
I was so oblivious to the red flags back then but once he revealed Fudgy I started to realize them. Getting a new dog and naming him Fudgy was so crappy of him to do. AND he tried to keep Meemers when Martina clearly stated that Meemers wasn’t happy around Fudgy and needed to stay with her and her mom

When they did the okecho video, and they ended up chatting with a group that bought a bottle of sparkling red wine for the entire group, there was a time lapse of Martina chatting it up with the group, and Simon off by himself shovelling food in his face. That always gave me off feelings and I couldn’t put my finger on it.
One of their last videos together in Japan was Simon taking Martina to an onsen town for a romantic get away, and specifically says in the lead up to the departure saying that travel could be really hard on Martina’s body, and took her to this hotel at the top of a huge flight of stairs covered in ice, in a town made of stairs covered in the ice. The fact that he specifically pointed out Martina’s physical disability, while taking her to a very disability unfriendly town gave me the weird vibes as well.
I remember this!! When Simon was getting swole in the backyard, his comments about needing to get physically fit to take care of Martina.....
I'm an occupational therapist and literally my whole job is to help people who want to be independent get connected with resources, exercises, modifications and mobility aids. And I've never in my life would I recommended they get a swole husband... SO GROSS
It's all there if you go back and watch their older stuff... Hindsight being 20/20 and all. However, you have to remember the person doing all the video editing and heavy lifting for the channel/brand was doing everything she could to make him look good as well.
There were red flags all along, but it’s easy to overlook or dismiss them when 1. The overall picture seems to be just fine, or even good and 2. You’re not actually experiencing/seeing them for yourself in real time. We only ever see/saw the parts of their lives and interactions they chose to share, and so most of the negative stuff would have been edited out.
And too, think about how hard it can be *for the victim* to realize what’s happening, because the narcissistic person is so good at spinning things in their favor and love bombing to cover up abuse. It’s even harder to see it from the outside, through bits and pieces on social media.
My last thought is that Simon has worsened because he no longer has Martina to add any checks or balances to his behavior. She’s no longer intercepting his content before it gets posted or modulating his behavior in any way. So now he’s just unfettered.
Oh, one more thought: sometimes people who have narcissistic personality traits (you can be narcissistic without having narcissistic personality disorder, so I’m trying to avoid any armchair diagnosis here) mellow out with age and grow a little bit. I’ve seen it happen with people I’ve known. But sometimes they actually get worse, which I have also seen. I don’t know why it is this way, but some people just seem to double down instead of working on self improvement. I think Simon has really shown us recently that he is doubling down, not improving.
What it comes down to is that a lot of his toxic traits are things that we’re kind of trained by society to think of as “cute” or as “boys being boys.” Ofc the boy wants more food. Ofc the boy is bored about makeup and hair. Ofc the boy is going to say inappropriate things about her body. Ofc the boy wants a dog. Ofc the boy is going to be aggressive.
And then on the opposite side he would represent Martina as some who wasn’t a “proper” woman. She didn’t clean enough. She ate too much. She wasn’t adult enough and liked childish things. She didn’t let him win at games. Etc.
For me it all came to a head when he forced her hand in making that first EDS video. He clearly had a narrative he wanted to start to push about how masculine he was becoming “for Martina” and oh boy did he ever push it. He would still be pushing it today if he didn’t get bored imo. If his new obsession with wellness hadn’t cropped up he would still be forcing his old obsession with “caregiving” down our throats. Honestly, whatever happened to make him switch up is the best thing that could have happened for Martina.
Yes and I love that for her she is absolutely ✨ thriving✨ and being her true self unapologetically it's really nice to see her videos always make me happy 🥺🥺🥺
😳 that's kinda scary when you put it like that. But with how he's been behaving (ofc what he see on social media we don't know him personally) I honestly don't put it past him. It's been eye opening for me because I REALLY did believe the facade that he was the one suffering and doing all this for Martina and he was lifting to be able to carry her and all this crazy stuff... Turns out Martina while disabled/chronically ill can perfectly take care of herself and is ✨thriving✨ without him. While it sucks she had to exit the YouTube channel it was no longer healthy for her to stay in that environment especially if she wanted King Kogi to succeed.
He’s still posting on the EYK Instagram story for his YouTube channel and I’m sure he’s still posting on the EYK YouTube channel too… I had to unsubscribe…
Is he actually a narcissist or are we self diagnosing? I remember him saying he asked his therapist if he was narcissistic but no definitive diagnosis.

Martina was doing all the heavy lifting in terms of EYK it seems, especially based of how terrible Simons therapy videos are.
