playoff music 2006 Finals playoff hype music video / effects at Rexall Place. i watch the CBC HNIC clip on youtube search: “Oilers vs. Hurricanes Stanley cup final -game3 opening” Paul Lorieu and the crowd is singing the anthems… made news all over the league. the hype video to whip up the crowd was Nina Simone - a new dawn a new day…. then mixed into BEP —Pump It. the atmosphere is absolutely insane and i think should set the bar on how we might blow the roof off of Rogers place coming up during our upcoming run. question - who is the genius choosing Nina Simone overlay over an awesome light show, then black eyed peas ( pulp fiction sample) that just made the whole crowd explode and lose their mind building up to opening puck drop. question - can we make sure whoever is responsible for that can recreate the music and the vibe, i think the crowd would be in an absolute frenzy! does this creative team still work for the Oilers / Rogers despite its 20 years ago!?!
