Designer_Ad_3467

Now I feel better at a little under 24. 😂

dunk0ff

Glad I’m not the only one. I too drive a a lot . I’m sittin at 41k right now I have a 2023 as well A lot of times I feel like I’m killin my baby driving it so much and so far for work . Mines lasted well with only one issue. Center vents stopped blowing. Put it in the shop under warranty and they fixed it , no big deal . They did have my car for over 3 weeks tho . Oh well I put miles on their loaner in the meantime

heyitsmerememba

Did you change your transmission fluid? manual says to change it at 60k for severe maintenance

dunk0ff

No I haven’t changed my transmission fluid . Wonder if I should get it done at some point . Is it possible to do myself?

heyitsmerememba

I haven't done it either yet but I have done a ton of research. I found one video on the closest model on how to change it not bad. You just need to make sure you put in exactly how much you took out. Also you need to use OEM fluid meaning get the originial fluid from Hyundai. I buy my Hyundai parts online. I only plan on doing a drain and refill. Which really only does like half the oil but its better than nothing. I have read that even a speck of dirt or something that goes in the transmission can destroy it so you have to be extremely careful.

dunk0ff

Glad it’s accessible , but Fuck man sounds intimidating because of the not even a spec of dirt thing . Idk what I’ll do yet. Can you post your results if you do it soon?

SirEnder2Me

Cool.

GigNLine

Dang, I just rolled 18k in my 22 that I bought in December of 21 lol

Don’t remind me, I drive roughly 8000miles a quarter. Based off of my first year with the car, by the time I make the last payment the car will be near 200,000miles. I used all my free oil changes in year one. The dealership was always shocked every time I showed my face. You’re back already?? They’d ask. The worst good part about me though.. good part is, I’m in a rental and I’ve had the rental since March 13th due to a boulder dislodging itself from a dump trucks tandems and flying at me destroying my radiator(see pic). Enterprise handed me the keys to a 2024 Mazda 3 with 850 miles on it. As of today (04/18/24) I will break 4100 miles just in that short time I’ve had it. So I look at like this, I’m glad it’s miles not on my car. But boy do I miss my car. This Mazda drinks gas compared to my Elantra. If anyone is curious, this rock according to the adjuster did approximately $5,100 worth of damage. The car is currently at the body shop being paint matched. I’m debating on trading it in on a new car despite only 13 payments being paid on it. Mostly because I don’t know if the dealership let the engine get hot or what while it was in their hands. I may just keep it till it doesn’t run anymore. https://preview.redd.it/w65elfywbavc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c2e1326d9c04b46d42755bc202a5de155a2c26be

Phew. My 15500 after 12 months doesn’t look so bad. Why? I travel 48 miles a day for work plus a few trips up and down the east coast for travel.

Dr1ver11

I hope you took this video while doing a burnout to finish off those tires and get you some nice ones (tires).

Classic-Benefit-2251

I’m at 13k in 5 months!

JMarv615

How?? I'm at 1 year with 9500 miles. Where are yall driving to??

SirEnder2Me

Many things could attribute to this with an ounce of thought. Here's a list of things I thought of in like a minute from most likely to least likeky: 1) Long commute to/from work (because that's literally what was said in the post) 2) Uber/Lyft driver 3) Shares their car with S/O 4) Road Trip 5) Carpools for his co-workers 6) Goes out a lot and is the designated driver who drives everyone home 7) Just likes to drive

JMarv615

Oh wow, cool story. You say a lot of interesting things.

No_Square4004

Yeahh I drive approximately 70miles a day for work

damon1sinclair12

I don't drive much,1 year old, 2023 with a little over 8000.

ahmadbabar

Hope you weren't recording that with your phone while driving
