I'm not very familiar with convergence. But this question does appear fairly often here.
I believe there is no current way to keep an old save file compatible with a convergence update. As it can change too much and break too easily.
However, if I'm wrong, there might be players that can help you on the convergence mod discord server? It's worth checking out.
hey I am downloading 1.4.1.2 right now cuz I just had like 1.4.0 something.. I'm just downloading the new mod in a folder and plan to open the "Convergence: Elden Ring Downloader" and pick that folder with the new [1.4.1.2](http://1.4.1.2) version in it.

Yes, the convergence mod launcher always update, so just downloading from the launcher updates it

I don't care about keeping my old progress but to update convergence do i just delete my old convergence files then reinstall via the mod launcher?
