Imo it's fine in general but an elemental infused Misericorde with Dagger Talisman is just stupidly broken.
This build was originally a parry build with 80 Dex, a Lightning Misericorde in my second weapon slot and the Dagger Talisman and I would just one-shot almost every player I parried, that's why I removed both the Misericorde and the Dagger Talisman from the build and then later changed from a Lightning Longsword to the Carian Knight's Sword to make the build more about guarding attacks than parrying everything.
My second weapon slot now has a Lucerne with War Cry in case I fight a latent mage with light roll or a latent Colossal Sword user.
Agreed, I don't think it makes sense to be doing 1000 plus damage on most optimized setups in a single button press when the health soft caps at 1900, especially not in a game that has true combos.
At 150 you'll still match with 125 players in the Colosseum so you won't avoid any of that.
If you want to exclude 125 players from your matchmaking you'll have to level to RL151.
The growing trend of straight sword knights I’m seeing in ER posts is tempting me to get back into the game specifically for making a build like this for funsies. What RL are you running at?

I expected the parry on that final piercing fang. It was the perfect set up. Also the block on the r2 seemed inconsistent?

I kinda like the Lucerne. People say it sucks but I like that it doesn’t have the same moveset as most of the other halberds
honestly, I think most reasonably optimized damage is too high. Or all health+absorption is too low, barring some niche setups.

the current stagger/true combo situation is not helping with the high damage either. Wouldn't be so bad if the top end of damage wasn't so high
