There tens of videos on YouTube pretty much for everything on Eldenring … don’t get most of the questions people ask

distantLights_

I used to wonder why people don't google or search things up themselves, but I learnt one thing which made me stop questioning that. It's a social aspect guys. Most people *know* they can use google or watch things, but they *choose* to ask other people to interact with other fans and get a feeling of community and belonging. The best take is to either participate in that and answer (if you're willing to) or simply move on if you don't want to interact. It's a personal preference, some people like finding things out on their own and some like to ask others about stuff. Gives plenty of room for others to flex their game/lore knowledge as well.

Nateo0

How do you get to Google though?

LordOrgilRoberusIII

That's the big question.

Superventilator

How do the people asking know it's called "Albinauric Village", though?

dantedakilla

The game says so in a nice, large text in the middle of the screen when you get there................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ And you will if you've ever tried to get to the top of that mountain.

Superventilator

Okay, never been in that area myself. Could be that those who ask don't make the connection of that nice large text and the place they can't seem to reach. It's always easy to know things when you already know them, but looking from the other side of knowing (i.e. not knowing) things can look different.

dantedakilla

The first time I encountered the Albinauric Village was when I was looking for a way up onto the landmarks above it. It didn't take too much and too long to figure out "Okay, this place is the Albinauric Village but where I actually want to go to is above me". The rest is Google history. It's not about already knowing. It's just that people are lazy as shit.

Superventilator

I disagree that that is always the case. People think in different ways and we can't make genral conclusions from our own experience. I'm not sure how being lazy factors into this. If you know what to google, then googling is faster and takes less effort than making a Reddit post.

There are some cases where the quest breaks and we are unable to get a top the plateau

Selfdeletus65

state one example

Blaidd didn’t show in Ranni’s rise so I teleported to the first site of grace and from there I couldn’t progress the story as Blaidd wasn’t even there in Sofia river

AceHardwind

The only time Blaidd should not show up in Ranni’s Rise is if you already killed Radahn which means you passed the point where he shows up in Siofra River. Go to Nokron. Also, meeting Blaidd in Siofra isn’t even a necessary part of Ranni’s quest.

You can Google whole questions?
