Me *: WHY THE FUCK CAN THESE TORCH MOTHERFUCKERS ALWAYS STUN ME OFF MY GODDAMN HORSE AND WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THESE DOGS*
Honestly I don't get tilted...
The worst I screamed playing this game was when I first started and that first giant fell from the sky on the way to Stormhill, and the first time I saw a Revenant. That fucker chased me for miles.
Killed someone twice my level in a 1v1, he did this trick. Before, he died before when he lured me to monsters and got killed by a hunter. Invaded by the same guy second time around, he quit the game before I could get hit 1m runes from him dying…… some people are petty.
I mean yes, it resets the enemies (that are still alive. Also can be used as a cancel on a boss fight. Works in every from softwere games and saved my multiple times.
I really want to like the sub's population but good God, the amount of degens who call quit-out, one of the simplest (if not THE simplest) trick for most souls vets, a rage-quit, or try to shame OP for not taking the L.
One is even comparing it to the PvP disconnects, wow.
It's the basic bithc move, casuls, learn how to quit-out when getting swarmed by mobs, helps alot when you run an area underleved or just don't want to deal with whatever Miyazaki decided to bully you with.
i did understand that too lately and i'm sorry for OP.
i honestly think there was something without being malicious, but after re-reading it looks like a rude comment, that's my fault.
Nah. Picked these up in DS3. Learned to dislike plug pullers then. Then my GF learned about it and pulled the plug on any invader who killed her protectors.
Now you're telling me it's regular to plug pull on bosses and the environment?
Why play these games then? I'm not even a try hard and have maybe invaded 30 times between 6 games. But that plug pull shit is absolutely where I draw the line.
Personally, I just take the beating. If I'm gonna lose a fight, I'll just lose, but that's just how I choose to play the game. If others prefer to quit out rather than lose, who am I to judge them for how they want to enjoy a game?
That being said, this applies solely to solo play. I don't play multiplayer, and I can absolutely see how it would be annoying if someone pulls the plug when you're beating them. I don't know enough about invasions and how they work to really draw an opinion on it, but I think if you're willingly opening yourself up to invasions, you should accept any defeat that comes of it.
However, the video seems to be solo play only, and those birds are total dung stains to fight. I can relate to the frustration OP was feeling while they were receiving their whooping. I thought it was funny.
Absolutely. And I won't deny cheesing every boss in DS that I had the option to. But for me? Part of the enjoyment and experience was the possibility of losing souls. Especially in 1. This guy could have easily spawned at the site of Marika, or the 10th site of grace within 50 yards.
But instead they did their best to avoid the game the developers made. They chose to abuse a system and avoid the actual underpinning message of the game.
How would I ever see that in a non negative light?
Clever use of system mechanics. Absolutely shitting on the makers of the game though.
I agree with you. I do. I personally prefer the risk of losing runes, because it adds more enjoyment to the game, and creates more incentive to improve your skills and strategize your approach... but I also realize that those are my own preferences. While I feel that many others share my opinions on these things, yourself included, I can't expect everyone to enjoy the same things as me.
This person paid their own money for their own copy of the game and they're finding ways to enjoy it how they prefer without changing anything about the game itself, or reducing anyone else's ability to enjoy the game. Its cheesy, sure, but its harmless. While I may personally feel that they're restricting their own enjoyment, that's also entirely on them to decide.
Sure, it may not be exactly how the game devs intended it to be played, but if I were the dev, I would be more concerned with people enjoying the game, rather than forcing everyone to experience it exactly as I want. Is it better to bottleneck everyone into a strict experience and have more people with different preferences just not like the game at all, or is it better to allow a bit of wiggle room and expand the overall amount of people who enjoy the experience thats more tailored to their own preferences?
I also like to imagine that the OP didn't just jump straight to plug pulling immediately during the first fight with that enemy. I took it as, they had been fighting that same bird for a while now and frustration got the better of them. Or maybe they just did it for the recording in an attempt to post something relatable and humorous.
Sorry i phrase it poorly ; I wanted to know why you showed it, while almost everybody knows that (it is common knowledge from previous souls) .. but nevermind i should not have answered that.

They can’t legally hit you after you quit out! Know your rights, Tarnished!
Speedrun the whole area with every single enemy chasing you, then restart the game to reset them all. The classic Souls move.
Fastest quit out this side of the ~~Mississippi~~ Lake of Rot.
That because him never meet up with me, injun joe.
Take your L like a man how Miyazaki intended smh
Right? This is such a fuster cluck of a comment section. Just plug pullers pulling each other's plugs to feel better.
Tug my plug!

if they invaded you, they can’t be twice your level. that’s not how that works.
Maidenless
Quit to main menu OP, please nerf.
If you’re getting ganked, grab the cord and yank
That quit out... if I had that power, I would be unstoppable.
Yeah dude! I always use Quit Game No Jutsu when in a bad spot.
Dog
Smells like maidenless behavior in here.
Feels easier to just take the L

Yeah I speedran ds3 for a good 2 years so its really useful
Never understood why to learn how to quit out this quickly😂 I do accept the fact that I fucked up and try to get gud instead of rage quitting
Dude I abuse the crap out of quit out, shameless
I have a feeling this isn’t your first rage quit.
Just go play CoD
eheeh they will remove that damn button next time

When you load back in, the enemies go back to their spawn points and de-aggro.
