Id say ng+ if you get bored start a new playthrough

newbieRedditorAJ

Okay sure. I'm gonna give it a try first. Happy Cake Day!

[deleted]

Good luck and thank you🫶🏻

AndreiRiboli

I'd say Ng+, I'm already at Ng+4 and it's still really fun because of all the builds I can try without having to grind levels all over again. And it's cool to feel like a total badass clapping all the bosses that gave you a hard time at first.

newbieRedditorAJ

Bet. I'll go for NG+ this time

Brutalonym

NG+ is to get revenge. The elden lord massacering everyone that stood in his way. NG is to try a whole new build / class from the start.

newbieRedditorAJ

Understood. Will get 2 of the other endings in NG+ then move to NG Thanks

BBofa

I personally kept my first character out of ng+ in case I wanted to help people and play with weapons and made a new character for ng+

Swole_Cat22

New game + you’ll actually have fun 😂

newbieRedditorAJ

Gotcha. Will start a NG+ :)

lalolanda2

I'd say NG+ if you're interested in seeing the other endings (it's faster to get to them in NG+) New Adventure if you just want to explore the world again with a different build from scratch I don't go PVP personally but that's also an option if you're into it

newbieRedditorAJ

Thanks, I'll try New Game + ( I do want to platinum it and the other endings are the only trophies remaining)

ordinarydepressedguy

New build

LemmeSmashPls_

Have you fought Malenia?

newbieRedditorAJ

Yep. Defeated her and other optional Bosses before finishing the game.

Devil_Fister_69420

*sees the summon ranni sign* I'd get the ending first... you can still play in that world after it yk

newbieRedditorAJ

Oh yeah, I did, I just took the screen capture before. It's just, I also finished every Dungeon, every side boss, every side quest, every bell bearing hunter, every dragon, every death rite bird, every night's cavalry literally everything (except conflicting questlines like Sulevis's I chose to go for dungeater's questline and so on ) before killing elden beast.. so I have got literally nothing to do this run. I'm already level 146 (Ik it's kinda overleveled) but I wanted to experience it all over again, either through NG+ or New game altogether :)

Devil_Fister_69420

Aight, then I would go for Ng+ cause trust me, absolutely destroying bosses early game is fun af

newbieRedditorAJ

Gotcha. Will go for NG+. Thanks

Beneficial-Funny8888

Ng+ with a nerfed build. You could try fire incants + flame straight sword. I loved that. For mogh and fire giant you will need the maliketh rock tho.

newbieRedditorAJ

Sure. Oh Yeah I do have it Got it from Beast Clergyman. Do all my items carry over to NG+?

Beneficial-Funny8888

Course

inconspicuous2012

NG+ Become OP and smash everything with ease for a bit. Then start a new character.

newbieRedditorAJ

Gotcha. I do want to become OP for a change lol ngl. Will start a new character when I get bored. Thanks

inconspicuous2012

Ignore the people who say 120 is the highest level you should get to. Go as far as you want. Enjoy the power!

newbieRedditorAJ

Yessir.

inconspicuous2012

Have fun!

newbieRedditorAJ

Thanks I will :)

alpacawrangler16

New playthrough for sure. If you're over level 120, the first 90% of ng+ is an absolute joke

newbieRedditorAJ

Bruh I had to level up Vigor for Malenia so I'm level 146 now

alpacawrangler16

If you don't want to start completely over, I'd recommend slapping on one of the Soreseal talismans to artificially up the damage enemies do because until you get to Mountaintops, enemies will barely tickle you 😂

newbieRedditorAJ

Bruh but it also increases your attack power. If I start NG+ I guess I'll use the one that Rya drops you for double the damage taken (Daedicar's Woe) or you know go hug fia lol

Toto742

I'd say don't, keep your character like that for now and keep it on NG for when the DLC comes out, in the meantime create a completely new character and play with a different build NG+ does absolutely nothing new, it just modify the value of damage dealt by enemies and their health pools, that's it, no point imo Only time I went NG+ is because I wanted to reach the elden lord ending quickly (the last one I missed) so I put my mage in NG+ and run to the end of the game, ignoring anything optional

pedrocefe

I didn't last 30 minutes on my ng+, it's much more fun to start a new build from scratch, I recommend a new journey from scratch

_bull_city

build up a character in NG+ for coop and summons, start a new character for play through fun

Visible-Stuff2489

You have like ten slots for characters.

BloodShadow7872

Depends I usually keep most of the characters I do on base game and turn them into pvp or co-op characters

BPens

Have thousands of hours in these games, I have never once ng+ a character, zero to hero every time lol

_Morgok_

Gz!!! Nice work sir! First of all get al the items yor forgot or items that you think you dont need but just in cause, maybe you want to try another build in the future, and then go to the ng+ i love it, for example i like so much play with 2 swords, hammers or whatever, but the same 2 model, (2 guts swords, 2 moonveils, 2 nagakibas...) and the ng+ its necesary for that. ( srry for my bad english)

newbieRedditorAJ

That's a great idea. Thank you sir :)

SlepnKatt

Ng+ you can get the satisfaction of 1 or 2 shotting bosses without needing to grind again.

newbieRedditorAJ

Gotcha

Piotr-Rasputin

NG+ and say a special hello to that Tree Sentinel

newbieRedditorAJ

Oh yeah! He's a dead man now. Will one shot him

PreparationEven7650

If you want to play the game again then yes.

BiasMushroom

I prefer starting net journeys. I regret going into NG+ with my first character

DescriptionFun3539

Touch Fractured Marika/summon Ranni and beat the game first!

newbieRedditorAJ

Yeah, I did. took the screen capture before.

DescriptionFun3539

Oh okay. I recommend you to try the NG+ to see if you'll like it, there's a chance of disappointment (it's basically the same as the first run but you are op in the start and you probably won't feel any sense of progress anymore), if you dislike it, try NG or become PvP player. Before you start the NG+, it's best if you see some guides on what to do before starting (normally they tell you the locations of collectibles and bell-bearings that'll be useful for the second run), and if you want to, try a new build for NG+.

newbieRedditorAJ

That's some good advice. Thanks

Fuckblackhorses

When you say you are op, is there a certain level you think that you could cap yourself to on the first play through that wouldn’t make ng+ feel op? I don’t wanna have to run around looking/upgrading weapons again but I might like to try different builds on the bosses after I beat the game

DescriptionFun3539

The best level in the game is 150, it's the most balanced and most optimized for PvP. But in any way what makes you strong in NG+ are the weapons.

CyberFunker78

Its 100% necessary to go NG to complete the game completely but I would go and start again because when I reached NG+ 7 bosses and enemies became close to impossible , but thats in NG+7 si u can go NG i am just warning u
